6 Introduction Why Aries Smart Handle Set The Aries Smart Handle Set is flexible and easy to install. It can be fitted on most door types in various applications with existing mechanical lockcases. Being battery operated, Aries Smart is also easy to install without the need of wiring, so saving time, convenience and the cost of installation compared to a hard-wired access control system. It can also be opened by RFID cards and Bluetooth Smart ready phones (ios and Android) and connects to a Bluetooth enabled smart phone. Aries Smart is available in two versions: IP54 for internal door installation IP55 for external door installations. The IP 55 rated, suitable for outdoor installations on external doors. The Aries Smart Handle Set combined with Argo App is suitable for private houses, apartment blocks, light commercial (offices, single entrance of commercial, server rooms, etc ). The Aries Smart Handle Set is 38 mm wide which allows simple installation on any door types (wooden, aluminium, metal, PVC etc.). The Aries Smart Handle Set can be fitting with locks with a minimum backset of 25 mm. The nylon back plate allows to install Aries Smart electronic handle set (in combination with locks with back set minimum of 40 mm). The back plate can be used to cover existing holes on the door. All electronic and mechanical elements are on the secure side, on the internal side. The Handle set requires 3 holes on the door for easy installation.
