Introducing a hypervisor provides advantages: Development productivity (automated partitioning, fewer faults, debug improvements) More robust systems (memory protection, interrupt handling, lifecycle management) Optimization of hardware resources (shared resources, core virtualization, leverage hardware virtualization features) 25
