The quotation in a sealed cover should have the following superscription on the left corner of the envelope Quotation for Purchase of Computer. 2. The quotation for each item should be submitted in the prescribed format (Annexure-1) to the Council failing which the quotation would not be entertained for further process.

The last date of submission of quotation is up to 1700 hrs on The quotation may be sent through post addressed to the Executive Director, Building Materials & Technology Promotion Council (BMTPC), Core-5A, First Floor, India Habitat Centre, Lodhi Road, New Delhi by speed/registered post/courier only. 5. The rate quoted should be FOR-BMTPC s Office, New Delhi and indicate clearly the cost of the item including Taxes & duties and other charges, if any. 6. The quotation should also include buy-back offers for laptops and desktop computers (as per description provided in Annexure-2). 7. The offers will be evaluated on the basis of the item-wise lowest rates quoted. 8. The equipment supplied shall be guaranteed for satisfactory performance at least for a period of one year. 9. The prices shall be quoted in Indian Rupees only. 10. Each bidder shall submit only one quotation. 11. Quotation submitted should remain valid for a period not less than 60 days after the deadline date specified for submission. 12. Normal commercial warranty/guarantee shall be applicable to the supplied goods. 1. The Council will not be responsible for any loss and damage of articles in transit. 14. The rate quoted should conform to the terms & conditions and specification specified. 15. The bidder should enclose catalogue of the model quoted with quotation. 16. Quotation should comprise of the following document: (i) Service Tax No. (ii) Vat/Tan No. (iii) If it is Authorized Dealer/Manufacturer/Supplier, then enclose documentary evidence for the same. (iv) Enclose copies of supply order of Government Departments, if any.

3 17. Any deviation in technical specifications shall not be entertained ordinarily and the rates quoted should not exceed the rates as fixed by the OEM. 18. The 100% of the billed amount will be released only if the following conditions are fulfilled: a. The new computers have been received in good conditions and successfully installed and commissioned as per the specifications. b. The supplier has lifted all the old computers, in case of buy-back arrangement. 19. All equipments are to be door-delivered to the Council within 0 days of the issue of the purchase order. In case the supplier fails to deliver the goods within the due period, the Council reserves the right to cancel the purchase order and to place orders with other firms without assigning any reason thereof. 20. All packing must be opened at the BMTPC office and be handed over to the consignee, at the supplier s cost. 21. The supplier is required to take care of change in technology and supply the higher version of the hardware and software available at the time of delivery at the same cost as per the order. 22. Disposal of old computers: The old computers will be released only after the new computers are successfully installed. The supplier must take delivery of old computers within 7-days from the date of final installation of the new computers. The supplier must submit an undertaking in this regard. 2. Any dispute arising about this shall be subject to jurisdiction within Delhi only. 24.
