1 If you have an existing username and password for the website, select the Sign In button or enter your credentials in the Sign In field. 2 Sign In for previously registered users Enter your username and password and click Sign In. Please note that your password is case sensitive. If you have forgotten your username or password, please call or Page 2 of 18
3 New Account Registration To register for an online account, select the New Account Registration button on the Sign In page, or the Register Now link in the Sign In field. Page 3 of 18
4 Register for Online Account Enter in the required information and click Submit. Your local branch will validate your online request within approximately four business hours. If you would like to expedite the approval, please contact your local branch at Page 4 of 18
5 Home Page The Shopping Cart icon will only appear if you are logged into the website. It will show how many line items are in your cart. The website will save your last shopping cart in the event your session becomes inactive. You will also see an overview of how many line items along with a subtotal of your order in the right hand column of the home page. You can access your current cart by clicking the Shopping Cart icon or the Shopping Cart button. Along with featured promotions, products and Patterson Advantage information (available to Advantage customers), we have links to the Supplies Catalog, Equipment, Technology and Services information and My Account from the home page. 6 How to Create an Order To begin your order you can use the Quick Order field, a shopping list or click the Cart icon at the top of the screen. Quick Order Enter the item number and the quantity you would like to order. Then select the Add to Cart button. Shopping List Select My Account and then choose the Shopping Lists link. Now you can select the list name that you would like to use to build your order. Check the item(s) you would like to order and then click the Add to Cart button. Page 6 of 18
7 Quick Add (in the Cart) Enter the item number and a quantity and then select the Add to Cart button. Tags / Labels Select the item(s) you would like to receive a tag / label for. Then select the +Tag and / or +Label button. You will see the +Tag and / or +Label indication beneath the item description once you have made this selection. Once you are finished compiling your order, click the Proceed to Checkout button and follow the prompts to complete your order. Page 7 of 18
8 Supplies Tab From the Supplies tab you have the option to access the Catalog, Deals and Promotions, Military/ECAT and epublications. When viewing the Catalog, the New Arrivals and Most Popular deals are listed at the top of the page. You can view the Catalog by Categories or Manufacturers by selecting those tabs. Selecting the Deals and Promotions link will show you all items that have a promotion attached to them. Page 8 of 18
9 Equipment Tab This tab displays a Dental Equipment Overview and allow you to view additional information on Dental Equipment Financing and Leading Dental Equipment Manufacturers. Technology Tab This tab displays information on Practice Management, Imaging, Patient Education, Training and Support, Hardware, Getting Started and Digital Impressioning and CEREC. Services Tab This tab displays information on Office Design, Patterson Advantage, Repair & Support and Financing. Page 9 of 18
10 My Account tab You do have to be logged into the site to access the My Account tab. This tab provides links to Summary (My Account Summary Dashboard), Advantage, Orders, Invoices, Shopping Lists, Statements, Make Payment, Reports, Account Settings, Subaccounts (for Master Account Administrators), Formularies (for Group account users) and Pending Orders (for Master Account Administrators). Summary (My Account Summary Dashboard) This will display your Advantage program status if you are a Patterson Advantage customer. You will have different dashboard elements depending on your account type. If you are a Master account administrator, you will see any pending orders for your sub-accounts and have the option to 1-Click Approve or Reject the order. You also see your last five payments, shopping lists, subaccount management and contact information for your local Patterson Team. If you would like to hide any of the dashboard elements, you can do so under the My Account Dashboard Settings link. Page 10 of 18
11 Orders Link The orders link (shown here) and Invoice link allow you to select the amount of history you would like to view, as well as filtering the list by Item number or description, Manufacturer name or number, PO # or order number. You can click on the order # hyperlink to view the items that were included on that order. It will show you if there are promotional items on the order that will allow you to take advantage of manufacturer promotions. If the order has shipped, the Track link will allow you to access the UPS database to track your order. Shopping Lists Link Patterson supplies you with a list called My Catalog. This contains a rolling 24 months of your purchase history. You can use this list to order from or to create smaller more customized shopping lists. You also have the ability to add items to or remove items from the My Catalog list or any of your shopping lists. To create a new shopping list you can choose the Create Shopping List button. 12 Formulary Lists If you are a subaccount (part of a group practice with ordering rules in place) you will also see your Formulary list under the Shopping Lists link. As a subaccount, you have access to view and order from your formulary. Items that are attached to the formulary will display with the symbol throughout the site. Only the Master account administrator has the ability to make changes to the formulary. Statements Selecting the Statements tab will allow you to view your most recent Statement, your last 12 archived statements, invoices and your last five payment dates and amounts, as well as making a one time payment to your account (using your bank account information). 13 Make Payment The Make Payment link allows you to make a payment on your account. If there is a zero dollar balance on your account you will not be able to use this feature. Select the payment amount you would like to make and click Continue. Enter in your account information and then choose the Submit button at the bottom of the screen. Page 13 of 18
14 Reports The reports available on the site are: My Advantage Dollars (only available to Patterson Advantage customers), Patterson Free Goods Detail, My Purchase Summary and Supply Management Summary. My Advantage Dollars provides a detailed insight into the Advantage dollars earned. The report covers the current year to date and prior year purchases. Patterson Free Goods Detail provides year to date summary of all free goods received from Patterson. You can see all items you have automatically received from Patterson and the total value of those items. My Purchase Summary is a comprehensive report that includes all purchases made during the current month, Advantage program summary and status, as well as an interactive bar graph comparing your current and prior year purchases. Also displayed is a summary of any credit that were applied to your account. This report can easily be saved as a PDF document or printed using the appropriate links in the tool bar. Supply Management Summary provides a history of purchased supplies. Unlike the other dynamic reports, this report is produced monthly as a PDF document, making it easier for you to save or print. It includes bar codes for use with an optional bar code scanner. Page 14 of 18
15 Account Settings The Profile section allows you to change you password and your Security Question and Answer. Select the Update link to change your account name, job title or change your username to reflect your address. You can also sign up for our Automatic Credit Card Payment Plan and sign up to receive Newsletter and Promotions via . Page 15 of 18
16 The following three options are available for Master Account Administrators. Subaccounts Here you have the option to set up Global Ordering Rules to split items that require approval to a new order, require approval for all or none of my orders. You can also assign a formulary to my Sub Accounts. Formularies can be set so that they do not require approval while all other items ordered would need your approval for order placement. You can also choose to only require approval of specific sub accounts from this screen. Formularies As a Master Account, you have the ability to edit the formulary list. Page 16 of 18
17 Pending Orders Accessing the Pending Orders link will provide you with more information than the Orders Pending Approval section on the My Account Summary Dashboard. Here you can see the PO# (if available), the date and time the order was processed as well as the account name and username. To process a pending order click the Review Button. When reviewing the order you will have the option to enter or change the PO# and add, remove or change quantities of the items. Once you have made your changes, please click the Save Changes button. Once you have finished reviewing the order, enter a comment (required) and then select the Approve or Reject button. Page 17 of 18
