2 Program Name: SWIMMING Date: Tuesday, April 2, 9, 23, 30 May 7, 14, 21, 28, June 4, 11, 18 Drop Off: 6:30 PM At Greater Lowell Technical High School 250 Pawtucket Blvd. Tyngsboro, MA Time: 6:30 PM To 7:30 PM Pick-Up: 7:30 PM At Greater Lowell Technical High School 250 Pawtucket Blvd. Tyngsboro, MA COST: $0.00 We will be having 11 weeks of swimming. It is open to all clients who would like to participate. Through the generosity of the Kirane Family, there is no cost for this activity. The Kirane Family is sponsoring this program in memory of their son and brother, Daniel. What To Bring: 1. Bathing Suit. 2. Towel. 3. Water shoes, flip-flops or sandals. Program Name: VOLLEYBALL Date: Wednesday, April 3,10, 24 May 1, 8, 15, 22 Drop Off: 6:00 PM At The Reilly School 115 Douglas Road Lowell, MA Time: 6:00 PM To 7:30 PM Pick-Up: 7:30 PM At The Reilly School 115 Douglas Road Lowell, MA COST: $35.00 We will be playing Volleyball. What To Bring: 1. Sneakers. 2. Comfortable clothes. 3. Water. 2
3 Program Name: BOWLING Date: Thursday, April 4, 11, 18, 25 May 2 & 9 Drop Off: 5:00 PM at Collins Bowladrome Time: 5:00 PM To 6:30 PM Pick-Up: 6:30 PM at Collins Bowladrome COST: Already billed in January.. Enjoy bowling with your friends!! LIMIT: 40 bowlers. The Bowling Banquet will be held on Thursday, May 16 th at the Knickerbocker from 6:00 8:00 pm. What To Bring: 1. Bowling shoes. 2. Bowling balls (if you have them). 3. Spending money for a drink and/or snack. Program Name: BINGO Date: Friday, April 5, 19 May 10 Time: 6:30 PM To 8:30 PM Drop Off: 6:30 PM At RARA Pick-Up: 8:30 PM At RARA COST: $12.00 Each Night Enjoy playing bingo and have a chance to win some cash (snacks and drinks included). Come with us and enjoy this play. *THIS IS A TICKETED EVENT WITH A LIMIT OF 20 PEOPLE. What To Bring: 1. Money for snacks $10. Program Name: ADVENTURES IN ART Date: Saturday, April 13 Time: 1:00 PM To 2:30 PM Have you even made a special project using fabric, glass, paint, or even recyclable material to make ART? Now is your chance to see how and what you can make. THERE IS A LIMIT OF 20 CLIENTS FOR THIS ACTIVITY. If you register and do not cancel by noon on the Wednesday before the activity and don t show, you will be charged $5.00 for material that was purchased. What To Bring: 1. 5 Program Name: DINING & DANCING AT THE LOKAI Date: Saturday, April 13 Drop Off: 6:30 PM At RARA Time: 7:00 PM To 11:00 PM Pick-Up: 10:30 PM At RARA COST: $45.00 What To Bring: Everyone has a great time at the LoKai. We ll have Chinese food and dance to the music of a live band! Your appetite and dancing shoes!!! $3.00 for coffee as it is not included in the buffet. A valid ID and additional cash if you want an alcoholic beverage. Program Name: SPRING DANCE Date: Saturday, April 27 Drop Off: 6:00 PM At RARA Time: 6:00 PM To 9:00 PM Pick-Up: 9:00 PM At RARA Dancing to the music!!! What To Bring: 1. Dancing feet!! 2. $ $2.00 extra spending money for snacks. Program Name: TURKEY DINNER AND A MOVIE Date: Sunday, April 28 Drop Off: 12:00 Noon At RARA Time: 12:00 Noon To 2:30 PM COST: $15.00 We will be having a turkey dinner and a dessert before we watch a movie. If you register for this activity and don t attend, or don t cancel before noon on Wednesday of the week of the event, we will bill you a $4 fee for food purchased. We purchase food on Thursday based on the number of clients registered for the activity. If you let us know that you are not coming, we can purchase less food. What To Bring: 1. Your appetite!!! 5
6 Program Name: OPERATION GRATITUDE Date: Saturday, May HIGH ST Time: 1:00 PM To 3:30 PM Pick-Up: 3:30 PM At RARA 295 HIGH ST COST: $15.00 We are going to send care packages to the troops. This is a community service activity. We re going to the Dollar store. Each client will have $5 to buy 4 items on their list. Each client will get a snack. What To Bring: 1. Your enthusiasm to help our troops. Program Name: ADVENTURES IN ART Date: Saturday, May 11 Time: 1:00 PM To 2:30 PM Have you even made a special project using fabric, glass, paint, or even recyclable material to make ART? Now is your chance to see how and what you can make. THERE IS A LIMIT OF 20 CLIENTS FOR THIS ACTIVITY. Program Name: MEMBERSHIP MEETING Date: Tuesday, June 4 Drop Off: 7:00 PM At RARA Time: 7:00 PM To 8:00 PM Pick-Up: 8:00 PM At RARA COST: FREE It s time to vote for new officers. Join us at our annual membership meeting. Talk to the board of directors AND client reps to find out what s going on at RARA. Coffee, soda and pastry will be served. What To Bring: 1. Date: Saturday, June 8 Program Name: NEWPORT RI KITE FLYING Time: 9:00 AM To 7:30 PM Drop Off: 9:00 AM At RARA Pick-Up: 7:30 PM At RARA COST: $50.00 We are going to the Newport RI Kite Festival! You will get to see hundreds of kites. We will have a picnic lunch and will stop on the way home at the 99 Restaurant for dinner. What To Bring: 1. Movies for October 2018 have not been listed yet. We ll give you all the details once they become available. What To Bring: 1. Your appetite Date: Saturday, June 15 Program Name: FORMAL DANCE Time: 6:00 PM To 9:00 PM Drop Off: 6:00 PM At RARA Pick-Up: 9:00 PM At RARA This is our formal dance. We will be serving catered food and drinks. We will also have a professional photographer on hand to take pictures of all clients. So, don t eat before you come to this dance. Appetizers, sandwiches, salads, fruit and dessert will be served. What To Bring: 1. Dancing shoes. 2. Your appetite!
