2 OpenTouch Conversation One is the OpenTouch freemium client for computer, that provides essential UC elements such as presence, instant messaging, document presentation & exchange, besides deskphone control. 1. Startup of OpenTouch Conversation One I want to launch the OTC One application. Click on Google Chrome Applications launcher Then click on the OTC One application icon Note: with a right click on the OTC One application icon you can «create shortcuts» at your convenience. Then enter your credentials When connected, the application homepage is displayed. 1. Select your call device or forward your calls I want to select the phone set on which you want to receive and place calls.
3 Click your current device in the user area. Select which device will be used for incoming and outgoing calls (Deskphone, Home phone or other number). o If other number is selected, a window appears to define it o Phone numbers are defined in the settings of the application (if granted by the administrator) You can select voic to immediately forward all incoming calls to your voic (a new icon appears in user banner to show voice mail forwarding activation) 2. Set manually your presence status I want to see how I'm seen from others connected OT users including my first and last names, my photo (avatar) and my current presence. The colored circle around a photo/avatar shows the contact's presence status.
4 Click on your photo (avatar) in your banner area or select Avatars/Presence in the settings of the application. Then set the presence status you want to be seen by others. The presence state is dynamically updated depending on user actions (e.g.: call) and or the use of another OTC client or device. From this window, you can define your avatar among 4 possibilities. This avatar can be uploaded from an image file or taken with your computer camera. 3. Instantly access to your favorite contacts I want to be able to see my current list of favorites Click on the Favorites icon to access to your preferred contacts. A favorite can be: An OT user, A speed dial or an external contact (coming from another OTC client) A federated user The favorites list is ordered by name and first name alphabetically.
5 4. Check your past conversations I want to check my old calls and instant messages Open the call history by selecting the history tab. The deletion of the history can be done from the settings menu by selecting Delete the whole history 5. Stay notified about new voice messages, call your voic I want to listen to the new voice messages. Select the Voic tab and click call voic and follow instructions from the voic server. The number of new voice messages is displayed on the icon.

Search for a contact and add it as a favorite I want to be able to add an OT user found through a directory lookup to my favorite list Using the filter input field and when characters have been entered, pressing the Enter key or clicking on the Search icon, will start a query in the corporate directory to be launched and the result of this search will replace the content of the favorites list. Once users have been found, clicking on a grey star of a user will add this user to the favorites list and display his presence. The user has the possibility to add speed dials (external contacts with numbers) to his favorites list. In order to add a new speed dial, the user has to: Click on the Add favorite contact button that is on the right side of the search field. Fill at least the phone number field (other fields are optional) Click on the Create button The new favorite will be automatically added to the favorites list. From the search results list or from the favorites list, clicking on the purple star icon on a favorite will remove it from the list. 7. Place a call I want to be able to call (RCC) a favorite (OT user, external contact) or an OT user found through the directory look-up. The connected user can: call a favorite by clicking on the call button
7 or use the search/filter input field to enter a phone number and validate by the "Enter" key in order to start a call 8. Send an instant message to a contact and add audio to your chat session I want to be able to send and receive instant messaging including emoticons with another OT user (The conversation can be started by the connected user or by the recipient). The connected user can send an IM message to a Favorite by clicking on the IM button. When clicking on the IM button, a new window is displayed to manage this new conversation. In that conversation, the connected user can send and receive IM message including emoticons. That Conversation is limited to two participants (no add participant button).
8 You can then initiate an audio call with the chat recipient by clicking on the call button. The OpenTouch system first call the user on his dial-from configured device or number and then once the call is answered, call the recipient. 9. Share and present a document I can upload a file to a conversation for presenting or sharing it or download an existing file. In an existing conversation (Conversation window), the connected user can share a file by opening the documents area, clicking on the Share icon and adding a document option to open a file chooser and selecting the file to share. You can also add the document by dragging and dropping it to the application. 10. Annotate the presentation I want to control and annotate the shared document. Use the control buttons presented on top bar of the conversation window.
9 11. Call a phone number from Google Gmail, Google contacts, or your Chrome browser I want to start a call from my Google Gmail or Google account. You must install the OpenTouch Click2 Call extension via the Chrome Web Store. To start the call, Select the Click2Call icon of your contact. The call is then managed by the OpenTouch application.
