Make sure you save and close any open documents before you proceed. Upon first launch, enter your GE (firstname.lastname@ge.com) address to login. You will then be redirected to a GE SSO login page. 16 Tips and Tricks Make using Skype easier! Shift+Enter will allow you to move to next line in chat box. Ctrl+Enter will start a person to person voice call. Send screenshot/snip: Windows Key+S to copy then Ctrl+V to paste & send. Drag & drop: Your groups to sort to your preference. Move contacts into a different group. Drag & drop contacts from your buddy list into a chat or meeting. Add a contact to your buddy list from a chat or meeting using drag & drop. Move between contact views filter your contacts. Groups, Status, New, etc. Search for contacts using name, , SSO, or phone number! To easily locate a file someone sent you: Gear, File, View Received Files.

17 Skype Top 5 FAQs Frequently Asked Questions Can I import my contact list? There is no import feature in Skype. You can add individuals or static DLs to your buddy list. This is an opportunity for a fresh start; only add the contacts you talk to most frequently. Use the (predictive) search to start a chat with infrequent contacts. Don t see your meetings listed in Today tab? When will Skype Meetings be available? You may need to re-enter your Exchange credentials. Skype checks your outlook status every 30 minutes for new meetings. If Exchange loses connection or switches network, you will be re-prompted for your credentials. You can join Skype Meetings hosted by legacy Alstom currently. Legacy GE employees will begin hosting their own Skype Meetings later in I can t add my profile picture. Can I chat with people outside GE? Only users that have upgraded to Microsoft Office 365 will be able to add their photos to Skype. Instructions in FAQs Certain federated companies can be added to your contact list using Add a Contact Not in My Organization option. Additional information can be found here: sc.ge.com/*sfbfederationrequest. We are waiting on final business approvals to see if Consumer Skype users are able to be added to your contact list.
