7 Chapter 1 Module description 1.1 Goal 5 Teach the concepts and use of Linux and Unix operating systems. Learn how to work with the command prompt, the power of scripting languages and the way the help in automation. In the end the student is able to 1.2 Motivation Linux and other Unix variants are still very much up to date.
