The IBM z Systems Integrated Information Processor (ziip) is available on all IBM z Servers (z13 and zbc12) and prior generations (zec12, z196, z10, z9) What does it do? ziips are designed to help free-up general computing capacity Lower overall total cost of computing for select data and transaction processing workloads and select network encryption workloads Are there performance advantages vs. z Systems general processors?
