1 Introduction CREMA Cloud-based Rapid Elastic MAnufacturing is a project funded by the Horizon 2020 Programme of the European Commission under Grant Agreement No Within this deliverable, the consensus on the basic and common understanding of the activities to be carried out in the project is justified and presented. For this, a general scenario, research and technology opportunities, business innovation, post-project commercialisation, stakeholders and the vision enablers for the common understanding of the project will be defined. 1.1 CREMA Project Overview CREMA aims at simplifying the establishment, management, adaptation, and monitoring of dynamic, cross-organisational manufacturing processes following Cloud manufacturing principles. CREMA will also provide the means to integrate data from distributed locations as if the complete manufacturing was carried out on the same shop floor, by integrating extra- and inter-plant manufacturing assets and making them mobile. CREMA will be built upon concepts and methods from the fields of Virtual Factories, Service-oriented Computing, Ubiquitous Computing, Cyber-Physical Systems, the Internet of Things and the Internet of Services, and naturally and most importantly Cloud computing. To achieve its goals, the project will define tools and approaches in these areas: Manufacturing Virtualisation & Interoperability Cloud Manufacturing Process and Optimisation Framework Cloud Manufacturing Collaboration, Knowledge and Stakeholder Interaction Framework Thus, to achieve its goals, CREMA conducts original research and applies technologies from the fields of full end-to-end integration of Cloud manufacturing, integration of manufacturing assets and corresponding data sources, the design and execution of manufacturing processes, to the end user support via collaboration and interaction tools. For more information, please refer to the project Website Deliverable Purpose, Scope and Context The purpose of this deliverable is to define the requirements for the promotional material needed to support the CREAMA project and its associated activities. In addition it will document the resultant development and implementation effort carried out to produce those materials. The Promotion and Promotional Material scope is to provide planning requirements and proof of delivery of those items of media that directly relate to the promotion of the project. The role of these promotional items may be subject to change and adaptation through the life of the project, and this is also highlighted in this document / 22

2 Promotional Material Requirements 2.1 Project Website The first requirement for the promotional media for the CREMA Project is the project website that will need to fulfil a range of functions through the life of the project. This section will consider the target audience, functional and technical requirements required prior to the development of the website Target Audience The predicted target audience for the website would be individuals involved in technical and research based roles. Specifically they could be involved in other EU or research based projects or simply motivated by looking for products and services related to manufacturing systems or cloud computing in a manufacturing field. For this reason access to meaningful content is key with the emphasis on media of a sufficiently technical nature. Navigation should be intuitive, and whilst desktops and laptops will be the primary access devices tablets will be common place and should be catered for Functional Requirements The functions required are listed below and cover a range of topics including promotion, dissemination and collaboration aid: Outline the project aims, objectives and scope Provide profiles for the project partners and describe their roles and contributions to the project Provide access to a Project Wiki to categorise and provide access to technical documents and deliverables relating to the website Provide a News area to publicise news relating to events, achievements and promotional activities for the project Technical Requirements In consideration of the Functional Requirements the primary Technical Requirements have been determined below: Search Engine optimized to ensure visibility on major search engines Responsive - Mobile device friendly so it works on all common device screen sizes Provides intuitive but powerful Administration tools Aesthetically presents a clean modern business profile Based on these requirements the website will be built using Umbraco CMS as this as it fulfils to the technical requirements and Control 2K is a certified developer for the solution. 10 / 22
The website will be built on the following common sitemap structure: HOME o PROJECT o NEWS o PARTNERS o DOWNLOADS o CONTACT o WIKI A further requirement is that the content management be based on the allocation of role, which is Umbraco CMS provides this functionality Figure 1 Role base content and media access The following Roles will be configured: Administrator full access to moderate content and media Editor access to create and publish content and media Writer create content and media but publish approval required 11 / 22
2.2 Kick-start Business Website In order to promote the commercialisation of the CREMA Project outcomes a kick-starter website will be developed. This section will consider the target audience, functional and technical requirements required prior to the development of the website Target Audience The predicted target audience for the website would be individuals involved in technical and engineering roles. Specifically they could be involved in procuring products and services related for their company or organisation to implement manufacturing systems. For this reason access to meaningful content is key with the emphasis on media of a sufficiently technical nature. Navigation should be intuitive, and support for all device types is important as mobile devices could potentially be a high proportion of the traffic Functional Requirements The functions required are listed below and cover a range of topics including promotion, dissemination: Outline the commercial cloud platform specification Provide details for expressing interest in the product / service Technical Requirements In consideration of the Functional Requirements the primary Technical Requirements have been determined below: Search Engine optimized to ensure visibility on major search engines Responsive - Mobile device friendly so it works on all common device screen sizes Provides intuitive but powerful Administration tools Aesthetically presents a clean modern business profile 2.3 Social Media To support the marketing and promotion of both Project and Kick-start websites social media will be used since this helps disseminate the outcomes of the project and also build the brand for the commercialised product. Initially Facebook and Twitter accounts will be created for both websites and for the Kick-start website LinkedIn will also be setup as this is relevant to the support helping promote a new business and its products and services. 2.4 Project Logo A project logo is required for in order to use on all associated promotional material, which will represent the main themes of the project. These themes include Manufacturing, Web Services, Cloud Computing and the flexible nature of the intended software framework. The logo will need to work well on a range of media for both digital and print and be visually clear when used for small applications as well as on larger media such as exhibition stands. 12 / 22
2.5 Business Templates In order to standardize the documents used throughout the project, templates will be produced for Microsoft Office. They should provide recommendations for layout, fonts, use of common structure such as image, table and figures. Initially templates will be required for Microsoft Word ad PowerPoint. 13 / 22
