3 M INDMAN AGER RE ADER VERSION 3.1 General Information The MindManager Reader leverages the rich interactive format available in MindManager. Experience mmap files as animated presentations, expand and collapse branches, view rich content like notes, attachments, links, comments, and more (see the Supported features section for more info). The user interface supports English, French, German, Russian, Simplified Chinese, Japanese, Dutch and Spanish. The language will be selected based on the system s language settings. Map content will appear in the language used to create it. New in Version 3.1 Version 3.1 contains bug fixes, and quality of life enhancements. Live Calculations o The app will now take into account today s date for task highlighting effects. o Live calculations applies to SmartRules, formulas, and dependencies that take into account dates or other information that might change in the map to provide more accurate and timely information in the browser application. Applying a filter now always pans the map to a matching result. Turn the subtopic count feature on or off. Switching topics no longer resets the inspector panel if the topic has the same content available to view. Multiple bug fixes related to the filter feature. Minor UI improvements and bug fixes. 8 FIXED ISSUES IN VERSION 3.1 Subtopic count is always displayed. A new option has been introduced to allow users to configure whether count subtopics is on or off, this can also be configured to always be off when exporting from the HTML5 export options in MindManager for Windows 19.1 or later. Summary style boundaries are displayed in the wrong location for some layout types. In some cases, text does not break to the next line in the same location as the desktop apps. Improvements to the orphan logic in this area have improved the accuracy of line breaks. Context filters do not work for resources with less than 100% load. Fixed size topics were rendered incorrectly in some cases causing other rendering issues. Context filters do not work for resources with less than 100% load. Elements hidden using the show/hide feature were not accessible in the filter. Filters worked incorrectly when there were tags or markers with the same name in different groups. Using properties in flowchart maps caused topics to be out of alignment. Callouts in vertical timeline layouts were rendered on top of other topics. Relationship arrow heads had poor rendering when thickness was set to large values. Relationship arrow heads connected to the left side of a topic were obstructed by the business topic icon if present Corel Corporation 7

9 Filter presets (aka Saved Queries) did not function properly when preset contained multiple elements (tags, resources, etc) of the same type. Rotated text boxes were not displayed correctly. Filter criteria resulting in all topics being hidden would display all topics instead. Fixed, if the filter criteria has no matching results no topics are shown. Custom topic info box font colors were not displayed correctly. Subtopic layout set to No line style would incorrectly display lines between the collapse/expand button and subtopics. KNOWN ISSUES IN VERSION 3.1 Ink images created in pen mode are not displayed. Convert ink to text. Topics with their fill color set to "None" or partially transparent will not show background images behind them. Maps exported in the legacy interactive PDF format are not viewable as topic attachments. Relative file links do not work. Change the link type to absolute in the add/edit link dialog. Callouts appear in the wrong location in rare cases Links to local or network files do not work in some cases. Use attachments instead. 10 Effort sometimes displays using the wrong units and is displayed below resources instead of above. Web hyperlinks set to absolute are treated like file links and don t work. Change web hyperlinks to relative in the links dialog. In some cases, image padding is displayed incorrectly. In some cases, dependency icons are obstructed by topics. In some cases, resource utilization and task highlighting or icons are displayed incorrectly. When using lots of tags, they are not truncated as they are in the desktop apps. Large tiled background images are not displayed correctly when zoomed out. Missing fonts or differences in font rendering across platforms sometimes causes line breaks to differ from the desktop apps. The order of topic links when there are multiple on a single topic sometimes does not match the desktop apps. Some keyboard shortcuts listed in the Help docs do not work as expected depending on the browser used. Relationship callout line color is displayed incorrectly when the relationship color has been changed from the default. Adjust color on the callout to match the relationship line color. The Expand all command sometimes renders incorrectly for timeline layouts. Use expand buttons on the topics instead.
