5 ADMINISTRATIVE PERMISSIONS The following administrative permissions are required to manage the website creator. Total Access OR Manage Websites ACCESSING WEBSITE SETTINGS To access the Web Creator: 1. Login to your SI Play Administrator Account. 2. Go to Web Creator > Website Settings. 3. You should now be brought to the admin view of your SI Play Website. GLOSSARY At the top of the screen you should see the following: Site Admin Modules Edit Page Module: Also known as widgets. They are sections of your webpage which display information from your organization s SI Play Account - or custom content entered by a website administrator. Flex Modules: Can be placed within any available location on the website and display appropriately. Sidebar Modules: Can be placed within sidebar positions on the website to display appropriately. Wide Modules: Can be placed within wide positions on the website to display appropriately. Banner Modules: Can only be placed within banner positions on the website to display appropriately. Banners are also considered to be images. WHERE CAN MODULES BE PLACED? Modules can be placed in any of the positions shown on the next page. 7 MODULE ACTIONS How to Add a Module Modules can be added to any page, and if desired, they may be placed multiple times on the same page. A New Module will take on the default formatting specified at the site or page level. An Existing Module (or Mirror Module) will duplicate the formatting of an existing module. If changes are made to an existing module, those changes will also be reflected in its duplicate. Add a New Module To add a new module to a page: 1. Navigate to the page where the module will be added. 2. At the top of the screen, select Modules > Add New Module. 3. Using the horizontal scroll bar, locate the module you would like to add to the page. 4. Once found, drag and drop the module to the desired location on the page. 5. Once complete, you can add additional modules or edit your newly added module. NOTE: Once a module has been placed on the page, it is instantly live. Add an Existing Module To add an existing module to a page: 1. Navigate to the page where the module will be added. 2. At the top of the screen, select Modules > Add Existing Module. 3. In the top left corner of the module window, select the drop-down that reads None Specified. 4. Select the Arrow to the right of Site to view the list of existing pages. 5. Select the Page that holds the existing module. 6. Locate the module you would like to add to the page. 7. Once found, drag and drop the module to the desired location on the page. 8. Once complete, you can add additional modules or edit your newly added module. NOTE: Once a module has been placed on the page, it is instantly live. How to Move a Module Modules can be moved to any available location on a page. They cannot be moved from one page to another. To move a module: 1. Navigate to the page where the module is placed currently. 2. Select Edit Page > Edit This Page in the top right corner of the screen. 3. Hover within the dotted-line section of the module that you would like to move. 4. Drag and drop your module into the new position. 5. Once complete, you can move additional modules on the screen or click Edit Page > Close Edit Mode to view your new page SI Play LLC. All Rights Reserved. Page 7 of 29

8 How to Delete a Module To delete a module: 1. Navigate to the page where the module is placed currently. 2. On the top right corner of the screen, click Edit Page > Edit This Page. 3. On the top right corner of the module you wish to delete, click the Gear icon ( ). 4. Click Delete. 5. Click Yes to confirm deletion of the module. 6. Once complete, you can continue editing your page or click Edit Page > Close Edit Mode to view the new page. How to Change the Title of a Module Each module will inherit the generic name from the module selection pane. To update the name of the module: 3. Click the Down Arrow ( ) on the top right corner of the module you would like to rename. 4. In the Quick Settings window, edit the Module Name as desired. 5. Once complete, click Save. How to Change the Style of a Module Modules will default to the module style set at the site level, unless a page specific style has been implemented. NOTE: The instruction below does not apply to the Custom Content Flex module. To update an individual module s style: 3. Click the Down Arrow ( ) in the top right corner of the module you would like to rename. 4. In the Quick Settings window, select the desired style from the drop-down. 5. Once complete click Save. Click here for a complete listing of the available module styles. MODULES AVAILABLE Active Sessions Flex The Active Sessions module will display each session that is not in test mode. The module will display the session name and description entered on the session settings page SI Play LLC. All Rights Reserved. Page 8 of 29

9 Active is considered open for registration or in play. The sessions will disappear from this module 2 weeks after the play ends date. To enter a description for your session: 1. Login to your Sports Illustrated Play League Admin account. 2. Go to Registrations > Manage Programs. 3. Select your Program. 4. Select your Session. 5. Select Settings. 6. In the Description field, enter the desired text. 7. Once complete, click Save. NOTE: It could take up to 5 minutes for your changes to appear on your website. To change the public display settings for your session: 1. Login to your Sports Illustrated Play League Admin account. 2. Go to Registrations > Manage Programs. 3. Select your Program. 4. Select your Session. 5. Select Settings. 6. Update the Show THIS Session on Public Website field as desired. 7. Once complete, click Save. NOTE: It could take up to 5 minutes for your changes to appear on your website. All Standings Wide The All Standings module will show standings for each of your applicable divisions. Information will only show for a division when: the first game has been scored AND the schedule has been set to Include Games in Standings 2017 SI Play LLC. All Rights Reserved. Page 9 of 29

10 Click here for more information on how to add scores to your games. To include, or exclude, games in standings: 1. Login to your Sports Illustrated Play League Admin account. 2. Go to Schedules & Games > Manage Schedules. 3. Select your Session. 4. Locate the schedule for which you would like to include or exclude games in standings. 5. Under Actions, select More Tools. 6. Click Settings. 7. Update the Include Games in Standings? field as desired. 8. Once complete, click Save. NOTE: It could take up to 5 minutes for your changes to appear on your website. Custom Menu Flex The Custom Menu module gives you the ability to provide Quick Links to your website content or to external websites. Setting Up Your Menu Menu Mode The Menu Mode will dictate what menu items are displayed. Dynamic: When placed on a page with drop-down (child) pages, the menu will display those drop-down pages as individual menu items. NOTE: This setting is only recommended when you are placing this on a page that has drop-down (or child) pages. Full Menu Tree: This setting will show each page on your website that is set to Include In Menu, in the hierarchy that appears within Site Admin > Pages Manager SI Play LLC. All Rights Reserved. 11 Custom: The Custom menu mode allows you to choose which pages to include in the menu. You will also use this option if you would like to create a menu item that will link to an external website. Change the Menu Mode 3. In the top right corner of the module you wish to rename, click the Down Arrow ( ). 4. In the Quick Settings window, update the Menu Mode field as desired. 5. Once complete, click Save. Custom Menu Configuration When your Menu Mode has been set to Custom, you have the ability to choose, reorganize and create menu items. To organize your custom menu: 2. On the top right corner of the screen, click Edit Page > Edit This Page. 3. At the top right corner of the module, click the Down Arrow ( ). 4. In the Quick Settings window, verify that the Menu Mode is set to Custom. 5. Select the checkbox for those pages you would like to appear in your menu. NOTE: Drop-down pages will only appear if the top-level page is selected unless the dropdown page is moved to a top-level position in this menu. Reorganizing this window will not change the overall structure of your website. 6. (Optional) Drag and drop your menu sections to a different location to organize your menu to your specifications. 12 Create an External Link Menu Item 3. In the top right corner of the module, click the Down Arrow ( ). 4. In the Quick Settings window, verify that the Menu Mode is set to Custom. 5. Scroll to the bottom of the Quick Settings menu to view the Add Custom Links section. 6. Enter the desired Name for your Menu section. 7. Enter the External URL. 8. Click the Plus Sign (+) to add the External Link Menu Item to your custom menu. 9. (Optional) Click the X to remove your previously entered Name and URL. 10. (Optional) Enter a new Name and URL, then click the Plus Sign (+) to add the External Link to your custom menu. 11. (Optional) Repeat steps 9 and 10 for any additional External Link Menu Items. 12. Once complete, click Save. Divisions and Teams Wide The Divisions and Teams module will display the divisions and the teams within your active sessions that are not in test mode. 13 To change the public display settings for your session: 1. Login to your Sports Illustrated Play League Admin account. 2. Go to Registrations > Manage Programs. 3. Select your Program. 4. Select your Session. 5. Select Settings. 6. Update the Show THIS Session on Public Website field. 7. Once complete, click Save. NOTE: It could take up to 5 minutes for your changes to appear on your website. Documents Flex The Documents module will display any files stored in your File Manager. This will provide you the ability to view, upload, or share those files displayed. Documents Configuration You have the ability to display any folder and/or sub-folders housed within your File Manager. To change which folders you wish to display: 3. In the top right corner of the module, click the Down Arrow ( ). 4. Under Content Folder, click the Pencil icon. 5. Select which folder you wish to display. NOTE: If you wish to also display any subfolders housed within that parent folder, check the Display Subfolders box. 6. Once complete click Save. Facebook Timeline The Facebook Timeline module will display the timeline of any Facebook Page. NOTE: Personal Facebook profiles and groups cannot be used. This is a restriction from Facebook SI Play LLC. All Rights Reserved. Page 13 of 29

14 To set the desired Facebook timeline: 3. In the top right corner of the module, click the Down Arrow ( ). 4. Enter the link to the desired, non-personal Facebook page in the Facebook Page URL field. 5. Once complete click Save. Facilities Closures - Banner The Facilities Closures - Banner module will display an alert of any facility closures on the page(s) of your choosing. We recommend the Home page and/or any other pages that garner high visibility. NOTE: This banner module is only an alert and must be used in conjunction with the Facilities Closures- Wide module in order to provide a link to details of any closures. Information will only show in this banner when: facility closures have been generated in your League Admin Console. AND when the module style is set to Registration_Banner_Only. To generate facility closures: 1. Login to your Sports Illustrated Play League Admin account. 2. Go to Schedules & Games > Locations > Resource Closures SI Play LLC. All Rights Reserved. 15 3. Check the box next to any facilities you wish to close. 4. Select the dates of the closures. 5. Click the +Add Closure Notes button in order to add any details as to why the facility is closed. NOTE: These notes will appear in the Facilities Closures Wide Module you will add later. 6. Once complete, click the Save Resource Closure Changes button. Facilities Closures - Wide The Facilities Closures - Wide module will display information detailing facility closures generated from your League Admin Console. This module will default to your Locations page, however, you can place this module on any page you wish. NOTE: This module can be used in conjunction with the Facilities Closures-Banner module, which will create an alert and a link back to your Facilities Closures-Wide module. To generate facility closures: 1. Login to your Sports Illustrated Play League Admin account. 2. Go to Schedules & Games > Locations > Resource Closures. 3. Tick the box next to any facilities you wish to close. 4. Select the dates of the closures. 5. Click the +Add Closure Notes button in order to add any details as to why the facility is closed. 6. Click the Save Resource Closure Changes button. Latest Results Banner The Latest Results - Banner module will display the game date, teams playing, their respective scores, and location SI Play LLC. 16 All results will display by order of most recent to oldest date for: Games Scored Games without Scores Postponed Games NOTE: Results will display for 30 days only. To score games as an Admin: 1. Login to your Sports Illustrated Play League Admin account. 2. Go to Schedules & Games > Games Scores and Stats. NOTE: At the top of your screen you can filter your results by Session/Division/Team and/or games without scores. 3. Find the game you wish to score and click the Add Score (or Edit Score) button in the Actions column. 4. Enter the final results. 5. Once complete, click Add Score. Latest Results Flex The Latest Results - Flex module will display the game date and time, teams playing, and their respective scores. A further Game Summary and Game Boxscore link are also available. NOTE: Results can be filtered by Session and Division. All results will display by order of most recent to oldest date for: Games Scored Games without Scores Postponed Games 2017 SI Play LLC. 17 NOTE: Results will display for 30 days only. To score games as an Admin: 1. Login to your Sports Illustrated Play League Admin account. 2. Go to Schedules & Games > Games Scores and Stats. NOTE: At the top of your screen you can filter your results by Session/Division/Team and/or games without scores. 3. Find the game you wish to score and click the Add Score (or Edit Score) button in the Actions column. 4. Enter the final results. 5. Once complete, click Add Score. Game Summary will display your game summary headline, sub headline, and body information entered in from your team website. Game Boxscore will display your team statistical information. NOTE: Do not add schedules through your Team Website in order to have the most accurate statistics and standings. Rather add them through your League Admin Console. Latest Results Sidebar The Latest Results - Sidebar module displays the game date, teams playing, their respective scores, and locations. Three games maximum will display at any given time with the ability to scroll up or down for more results SI Play LLC. All Rights Reserved. Page 17 of 29

Login to your Sports Illustrated Play League Admin account. 2. Go to Schedules & Games > Games Scores and Stats. NOTE: At the top of your screen you can filter your results by Session/Division/Team and/or games without scores. 3. Find the game you wish to score and click the Add Score (or Edit Score) button in the Actions column. 4. Enter the final results. 5. Once complete, click Add Score. Locations -- Flex The Locations module will display all of the locations that your league has entered and made public. To create a public location/resource: 1. Login to your Sports Illustrated Play League Admin account. 2. Go to Schedules & Games > Locations. 3. Click Manage Locations. 4. Click +Add New Location. 5. Fill out the Add Resource Location form. 6. Make sure to check Display this Location on Public Website? In order to ensure that the location will appear in the module. 7. When finished, click Save. 8. To the right of the Location you just created, click the +You Must Add Resources button to create your resources. 9. Fill out the Add Resource form. 10. Make sure to check Display this Resource on Public Website? to ensure that the location will appear in the module. 11. When finished, click Save. To edit an existing resource to display/disappear from the Locations module: 1. Login to your Sports Illustrated Play League Admin account. 2. Go to Schedules & Games > Locations. 3. Click Manage Locations. 4. To the right of the Location, click Edit to change the display options for the Location. Click the Resources link to change the display options of the Resource. 5. Check/uncheck the Display this Location/Resource on Public Website? option. 6. When finished, click Save SI Play LLC. All Rights Reserved. Page 18 of 29

19 MyGear - Wide The MyGear module gives your users access to your MyGear store right from your league website. NOTE: In order for this module to populate, you will need to have an active MyGear store set up. MyGear is a virtual store that will allow leagues and/or teams to create and sell their own branded merchandise. All orders are processed, shipped, and managed through SquadLocker. To set up your MyGear Account: 1. Login to your Sports Illustrated Play League Admin account. 2. Go to MyGear. 3. Click Create Your Own MyGear Store Now. A box will appear that says You are now leaving your site to go to MyGear Store, powered by Squadlocker. 4. Click Continue. 5. Create your account through SquadLocker. Utilize the green chat bubble in the bottom right corner to contact the SquadLocker team for any assistance SI Play LLC. All Rights Reserved. Page 19 of 29

20 News - Wide The News Wide module will display any published League News Articles created in your League News Manager. NOTE: You can display your articles in a List (left) or Magazine (right) layout. Click here for more information on how to create articles in the News Manager. Select Which Module to Display Full News Articles A News-Wide module can be placed simultaneously on numerous pages within your SI Play Website and each should contain the same information. Once a user clicks on an article link, you have the ability to direct which news module will display the full article. EXAMPLE: If a user clicks on the article link in a News-Wide module placed on the Home page, you can choose for the full article to display in the News-Wide module placed on the News page. To set the full news article display module: 3. Click the Arrow ( ) in the top right corner of the module. You should now see a window called Quick Settings. 4. Edit the Choose Module to Display Full News Article as desired. 5. Once complete, click Save SI Play LLC. All Rights Reserved. Page 20 of 29

21 Filter Articles to be Displayed by Category When articles have been tagged to a certain category, you can use those categories to filter which news articles will appear in each News Wide Module. For example: You can tag certain articles as baseball. If you had then created a Baseball page for your website and placed a news module on that page, you would be able to show only those articles that have been tagged Baseball. Click here for more information on creating and editing News Articles. 3. Click the Arrow ( ) in the top right corner of the module. You should now see a window called Quick Settings. 4. Edit the Category to Display as desired. 5. Once complete, click Save. Select the Layout Appearance of your Article List You can display your articles in a List or Magazine layout. 3. Click the Arrow ( ) in the top right corner of the module. You should now see a window called Quick Settings. 4. Edit the Article List Layout as desired. 5. Once complete, click Save. Select the Number of Articles to Appear in Module You can choose the number of article links that will appear in your News-Wide module at any given time. If the number of total articles published is greater than the number you have selected, the module will create subsequent module pages. NOTE: The number of total articles published will appear in the upper right hand corner of the News- Wide module. This will let your users know if more articles exist than what they can readily see. 3. Click the Arrow ( ) in the top right corner of the module. 22 News Headlines - Flex The News Headlines Flex module will display up to 5 headlines only of any featured and/or most recently published League News Articles created in your League News Manager. Each headline will provide a link to the corresponding full news article housed in a News-Wide module. NOTE: An eye icon with All News will appear in the bottom left corner providing a link to the News- Wide module containing links to all published news articles. Click here for more information on how to create articles in the News Manager. Select Which Module to Display Full News Articles A News-Wide module can be placed simultaneously on numerous pages within your SI Play Website and each should contain the same information. Edit the Category to Display as desired. 5. Once complete, click Save. Photo Galleries Wide The Photo Galleries module acts as your League Photo Galleries Manager. Here you can create, display, and manage collections of images called galleries. Click here for more information on setting up your Photo Galleries module. Photo Gallery Slideshow Flex The Photo Gallery Slideshow module will display photos from a specific gallery created in your League Photo Galleries Manager. NOTE: The Photo Gallery Slideshow can be set to manually or automatically advance photos SI Play LLC. All Rights Reserved. Page 23 of 29

24 Edit Photo Galleries To select which photo gallery to display: 3. Click the Arrow ( ) in the top right corner of the module. You should now see a window called Quick Settings. 4. Under Gallery to Display, select the desired gallery from the drop down menu. 5. Once complete, click Save. To set photos to advance automatically: 3. Click the Arrow ( ) in the top right corner of the module. You should now see a window called Quick Settings. 4. Under Auto Advance Slides, check the Enable Auto Advancing Slides box. 5. Fill in the number of seconds in Advance every seconds. 6. Once complete, click Save. Registration Banner The Registration module allows participants to register for any open sessions set up by your league SI Play LLC. All Rights Reserved. Page 24 of 29

25 NOTE: This module will display only when registration is open to players. Registrations can be set up through your Sports Illustrated Play League Admin Console. Click here for more information. How to Set Image for Registration Banner Your SI Play website ships with generic banners available for use. You can contact your account manager for more information on having custom designed images created for your league. Click here for instructions on how to set up your Registration Banner Image. How to Register Participants Once participants click on the registration banner, they will be directed to either create a new account or login with their existing Sports Illustrated Play account. They will then be directed through the registration process you have setup through the League Admin Console. NOTE: Registrations entered by an admin must go through the League Admin Console. For directions on this process click here. Schedule Wide The Schedule module is an interactive table that displays all events scheduled through your Sports Illustrated Play League Admin Console SI Play LLC. All Rights Reserved. Page 25 of 29

26 NOTE: All event scheduling must be set up through your Sports Illustrated Play League Admin Console. Click here for information on how to set up Regular Season Scheduling. Click here for information on how to set up Tournament Season Scheduling. Organize your Schedule The Schedule module can be organized by a variety of filters: League (Session, Division, Team) Event (Game, Practice, General Event) Date (Year, Month, Week, Day) and views: Calendar with List Hidden Calendar with List Using the Prev ( ) and Next ( ) buttons will allow you to page through the filtered date view. Sponsors Wide The Sponsors Wide module will display advertisements for your league sponsors set up in your Sports Illustrated Play League Admin Console. To set up sponsor advertisements: 1. Login to your Sports Illustrated Play League Admin account SI Play LLC. All Rights Reserved. Page 26 of 29

27 2. Go to Web Creator > Sponsors. 3. On the right hand side of your screen, click Add New Sponsor. 4. Under Add New Sponsor, fill out desired fields and upload your Sponsor Logo. 5. Under Small Banner Ad fill out desired fields and upload your Banner Ad. 6. Once complete, click Save Sponsor Information. Statistics Wide The Statistics Wide module displays a table of every player and their respective playing stats created in your Sports Illustrated Play League Admin Console. NOTE: Statistics can be filtered by Session and Division. To generate stats: 1. Login to your Sports Illustrated Play League Admin account. 2. Go to Schedules & Games > Games Scores and Stats. NOTE: At the top of your screen you can filter your results by Session/Division/Team and/or games without statistics. 3. Find the game you wish to edit and click Add Stats (or Edit Stats) in the Actions column. 4. Enter the statistics for desired player(s). 5. Once complete, click Save. Tourney Machine Wide The Tourney Machine module will display the information of a single Tournament scheduled through Tourney Machine SI Play LLC. All Rights Reserved. Page 27 of 29

28 NOTE: You will need an active Tourney Machine account in order to utilize this module. If you do not already have a Tourney Machine account, Click here. Setting Up Your Tourney Machine Module 1. Log into your Tourney Machine account. 2. Click Manage on the desired tournament. 3. In the upper left corner copy the Tournament ID from the General Info tab. 4. Go back to your SI Play website. 5. Navigate to the page where the module has been placed. 6. In the top right corner of the screen, click Edit Page > Edit This Page. 7. Click the Arrow ( ) in the top right corner of the module. You should now see a window called Quick Settings. 8. Paste the Tournament ID. 9. Set the desired Height of your module. NOTE: This will depend on how much information your tournament displays. 10.
