1 Primary Network Logo Primary Network Logo The color-enhanced JPS logo reflects the vibrancy, diversity and energy of our staff today while maintaining the core blue icon that is so well recognized in our community. The tagline is given prominence to clearly define our commitment to excellent patient care. 2x x 1.25 Clear Space The JPS Health Network logo must stand alone with sufficient clear space around it to allow it to be visible and to clearly show that it is an individual mark. x 2x Size 0.36 The JPS Health Network logo must be used at a size that is legible, impactful and appropriate for the scale of the piece being produced. The logo may not be used as a graphic screened in the background, cropped, blurred or distorted in any way. The full color icon may not be produced in other colors. The full color icon must always be on a white background. In the instance that the logo must appear on a colored background a white box must surround the icon or the 1 color version can be used. 1 Color Logo Only use the official colors when implementing the mark with 1 color. 9 Electronic Communication Signature All accounts ending should use the following signature. The signature can be found on the intranet under Departments > Affairs > Signature Template. Copy the signature template featured below from the Communications intranet page. In Microsoft Outlook on the Home tab, choose New . On the Message tab, choose Signature > Signatures. Under Select signature to edit, choose New, and in the New Signature dialog box, type JPS. Under Edit signature, paste the copied signature. Edit the signature with your specific information and then choose OK. Note that some formatting might get lost when pasting into Outlook. Use the exact fonts, colors, sizes and images listed below. 10 Secondary Network Logos John Peter Smith Hospital Logo This logo is occasionally used when referencing the medical care delivered within the JPS Main Hospital building. Adhere to the same guidelines of the primary network logo in terms of clear space, color, size and restrictions. 12 Additional Standards Correct Corporate Reference Our corporate image goes beyond the printed or digital page. Each and every contact we have with the public leaves an impression. Remember this when answering the phone, speaking with vendors and communicating with peers. We are JPS Health Network, and JPS on second reference. The hospital is referred to as John Peter Smith Hospital. We are not Peter Smith, John Peter Smith Health Network or even JPS Hospital. No matter which communication medium you use , voic or written correspondence the same rules always apply. Fonts The preferred fonts for JPS Health Network communication materials are Tisa and Tisa Sans. If these fonts are not available, Rockwell is preferred for headlines and Calibri is preferred for copy. If none of these fonts are available, please use either Helvetica, Arial or Times New Roman. Colors These are the official colors of the JPS brand identity. They should be used with the following mixes. Blue and navy blue should be used most prominently, with green, yellow and red used as accents. 13 Additional Standards Images and Photography In order to promote a unified image and to avoid copyright issues, JPS does not use clipart downloaded from the internet in public-facing materials. The Affairs Department can provide vector-based artwork in an appropriate style if necessary. To protect the privacy of our patients, JPS adheres to a strict photo policy. Any patient who is photographed on JPS property must sign an official waiver available on the Communications and Community Affairs intranet page. Waivers are available in both English and Spanish. Aside from patients, any individuals featured in JPS communication pieces should be JPS employees. We do not use stock photography of people. The Affairs Department is here to help if you need assistance with finding appropriate images or scheduling photography. Business Cards and Promotional Items Business cards, letterhead, appointment cards and promotional items can be ordered directly through a vendor.
