5 2 Multiple Booking of Guides A guide can be assigned to several orders of a specific chunk. In this case the result list shows all guides, including ones who are already assigned to the same chunk. This enables guides to be assigned to several small groups. Guides cannot accompany two tours (events) at once. Functionality Description Once a ticket is sold, the guide manager assigns the guides. You carry out the assignment under Master Data > Ticket Management > Tours > Assignment View > Assignment. The guides already assigned to the current event during the same time slot are displayed using the Guides Already Booked feature. Prerequisites You have booked a ticket for a chunked event for which a guide has been requested. Activities Add the guides' capacities to the required chunked event. You can make the assignment under Master Data > Events (Chunk) in the right-hand menu under Guide. Assign the guides to events under Master Data > Ticket Management > Tours > Guide > Availability. 6 3 WOW Shop Template Set - Tours Without Guides Changes to the layout for chunked events have been implemented in the WOW shop. Functionality Description The following features have been adjusted in the WOW shop: When selecting a chunked event in the WOW shop, the system prompts the user whether he/she requires a guide. If the user selects a chunked event for which no guide is assigned, the prompt is not displayed. The prompt is displayed only for tours that have an assigned guide. This applies to individual chunked events as well as the tour calendar. In the WOW shop template set the numbers for the booking process and the word "Note" have been removed. For improved usability, borders have been added to the tour calendar between the chunked events. Prerequisites A guide is assigned to an event and availability for the time of the event is assigned to the guide. You are using the original WOW shop template set. 7 4 WOW Shop Template Set - Use of Multiple Promotional Codes In the WOW shop template set you can book discounts that are linked with different promotional codes. All entered promotional codes are displayed in the shopping cart, where it is possible to enter additional codes. Functionality Description You can enter several promotional codes in the shopping cart. The ticket discount is automatically adjusted to the promotional code and remains active even after you enter another code. Since the current price calculation permits only discounts linked to promotional codes, it is advisable to use multiple promotional codes primarily for different price lists and/or mixed shopping carts. If a price category has discounts for several promotional codes, you can select only the discount of the code first entered. For associated fees, only the current promotional code can be considered for price calculation. You can set the promotional code for the session in the URL using setactioncode=<code name>. All redeemed promotional codes are displayed. If you enter another promotional code that is invalid, the previous code remains active in the session and is not deleted. 8 5 WOW Shop Template Set - Use of Masked Credit Cart Data Reuse of Credit Card Data in WOW Shop Template Set With the "credit card" payment method using the "Computop via Paygates" gateway you can select previously used credit card data in the WOW shop template set, without having to reenter the data in Computop. The credit card number is masked, with only the last digits and the credit card type visible. For payment, the system uses the pseudo credit card number as in the back-end. The customer has the option of being forwarded to Computop to enter a new credit card. Since the ticket system has no way of knowing whether the credit card has been extended, it also displays apparently expired credit cards for selection. If a customer has never paid using a credit card, he/she is automatically forwarded to Computop for data entry SAP SE. All rights reserved. WOW Shop Template Set - Use of Masked Credit Cart Data
9 6 WOW Shop Template Set - No Default for Shipping Methods When the shopping cart is displayed in a shop session for the first time, there no longer is a default shipping method in the WOW shop template set. The user can select the appropriate shipping method in the shopping cart view, where it remains active until the cart is closed. If the shopping cart is deleted, the shipping method/shipping fee is also removed from the cart. When adding tickets, the shipping method is not preselected. Caution If a shipping method is flagged as default for the shop's company (Master Data > Company > Shipping Method), this method is preselected when the shopping cart is displayed for the first time. Prerequisite You are using the original WOW shop template set for your online shop. Notes for Implementation Go to Master Data > Company > Settings and activate the No Automatic Default Shipping Method in Shopping Cart checkbox. 10 7 WOW Shop Template Set - Arrow Indicator Icon for Pitch Direction Display of an arrow icon in direction of pitch, to give customers better orientation during purchase. Functionality Description To give customers a better sense of orientation, the system indicates the direction of the pitch directly above the section during seat selection. It displays a "Pitch" indicator and an arrow icon showing the direction of the pitch. The direction of the arrow is defined by the section administration at the venue and may show right, left, up, and down. Prerequisite You are using the original WOW shop template set for your online shop. Displaying the arrow icon in the WOW shop template set requires you to activate the SEATINGPLAN_SHOW_STAGE_TOP shop value. Notes for Implementation The arrow icon is available for SVG venue plans and matrix venue plans. Its direction can be defined for numbered sections only. 11 8 WOW Shop Template Set - Multiselect for Resales You can release multiple tickets for resale in one go. Prerequisite You have configured a resale under Master Data > Event. You have configured a WOW shop and activated My Tickets. Description In the WOW shop, go to Log In/Register and log in. Then go to My Tickets. Select the event in which you want to offer tickets for resale. Go to the Select an action box and then select Ticket Sales. To view the refund data, go to Additional Information to view the tickets you want to offer for resale. On the next page, select the tickets you want to release for resale by activating the checkbox. Once you have successfully checked one or several tickets, you can specify your payout data. Scroll to the end of the page. If you have already entered a bank account, you can select it on the left side of the page. Alternatively, you can enter new account details using the form on the right side of the page. Once you have confirmed the payout data, you are forwarded to an overview page containing the bank and ticket data for the event. Start the resale after activating the confirmation checkbox. 12 9 Improved Security for File Upload You can incorporate files, e.g. documents, images, and installation files, within selected areas in SAP Event Ticketing. Functionality Description Security measures for file uploads have been improved. The system now better recognizes modifications made by third parties during uploads, and prevents such uploads SAP SE. 13 10 Adjusting the History of Personal Data During the booking process the system records customers' personal data. Data recording is logged, i.e. the system records a history of customer data creation and changes, as well as of which user has modified the data. It also records the date when data was entered or changed. When changes are made, the system also records the data itself. This data can be called up in the customer dialog via the "History" icon in the title row. Functionality Description Calling up the history opens a dialog. You can restrict the data search by using search criteria. In the customer dialog itself you can access the entire customer history, i.e. the history of additional addresses, bank details, memberships, etc. You can restrict the search by the object type. You can call the history of individual objects (e.g. a specific additional address or payment method) by using the history in the relevant subdialog. 14 11 New Parameter for COSTCENTRETABLE Description In the invoice layout variables, the extension with the COSTCENTRETABLE data basis has been enhanced by the new only_reservation parameter: only_reservation Once this parameter is passed, the system uses only reserved tickets for calculating the COSTCENTRETABLE in reservation layouts, but not tickets already converted. Caution Please note that use may deviate from guidelines on persistent documents. The parameter may also be used for invoice and cancellation layouts, where it has no effect SAP SE. 15 12 New Interconnection with Payment Terminals Using OPI Interface local enables payments using external devices. It supports payment terminals with OPI interfaces. We recommend their use for the following currencies: GBP, USD, EUR Functionality Description You may use the feature as follows: Place tickets/products in the shopping cart. Once you select the Pay button, a reservation request is sent to SAP ET local. SAP ET local checks the connection with the terminal. The system sends a payment demand to SAP ET local using the Generate Tickets feature. SAP ET local performs a payment at the currently connected terminal and sends the result (Success/Cancel) to. The payment is verified by SAP ET local and the invoice/booking is generated. Prerequisites You have connected a CCV terminal compliant with the terms of the payment service provider. Notes for Implementation Terminal The terminal has to be connected with a local network. A static IP address is assigned and is accessible with SAP ET local by the computer. Implementation has to be successful according to the payment service provider's data. An ECR port (default 9044) has to be assigned to the terminal in the settings. In the terminal, a DeviceRequest port of the PC on which SAP ET local is installed has to be maintained. PC with SAP ET local The tool "SAP ET local" has to be installed on a PC. This PC must be within the terminal's network. The PC must have a port authorization to a DeviceRequest port in the firewall/antivirus software. The PC has to be accessible to the terminal. Optional: File "SAP ET-local-cash.ini" has to be adjusted (optionally as fallback). New Interconnection with Payment Terminals Using OPI Interface 2017 SAP SE. All rights reserved. 15
16 Configure the SAPLocal method in under Master Data > Payment Configuration > Electronic Payment Method. Enter the following data in the "Merchant ID" field: "opi://<ipofterminal>:<portofterminal>:<devicerequestportofetlocal>" Example opi:// :9044:9110" terminaltype=opi; [opi] ip=<ipaddress of that terminal> terminalipport=<port to send PaymentRequests to terminal(default 9044)> deviceipport=<this port listens for Messages from Terminal (default 9110)> Select the required currency. We recommend the use of the following currencies: GBP, USD, EUR You can select one currency only. In addition, you have to configure a means of payment using the "Credit Card" payment method under Master Data > Payment Configuration > Additional Means of Payment. Configure Local Configuration on the right screen side in the user settings under Master Data > User. Note Please note that a PIN is required as of a value of 25 EUR. Security-Related Notes Caution The terminal must not be accessible to unauthorized persons on the network. 17 13 Time and Date Selection for Message Plugs Under Master Data > Company > Doc. Flows/Messagesyou can configure message plugs to send already generated mails at a later moment in time. Functionality Description When configuring message plugs you can now specify an earliest message date in addition to the message time. An entry field is available for the date. If you do not enter a date or time, the system sends out messages immediately. If you enter a future date, mails from the respective message plug are not sent until this date. Such mails remain waiting in the queue until the message date. If you have configured multiple message plugs for a message slot, the system uses the plug with the latest message date. 18 14 Deleting Messages from Queue You can now manually delete messages that are still in the queue waiting to be sent. You can delete individual messages. If you want to delete multiple messages, you can use mass data processing. Functionality Description Under Master Data > Company > Doc. Flows/Messages > Queue you can view all messages and delete them by selecting the "Delete" button twice. You can select and then delete multiple messages using mass data processing. 19 15 Admission Control for Resource-Unlimited Events Resource-unlimited events in may also be connected with an admission control system of Ticketing Entry Interface type. This uses the listevents function. This function provides a list of all the available/approved event series for the enquiring admission control system. The result can be restricted to event series at a particular venue by using the "venue_key". The function results authorize the administrator of the admission control system to select the event series that is to be synchronized for ticket data and, if necessary, transaction data. As result of the function call, a list of XML structures is returned that each describe an available/released event series. 20 16 General Availability of Waiting Room Description The waiting room collects the Web page calls from all customers once the maximum number of sessions for the relevant shop has been reached. Calls are not forwarded to the waiting room server until the maximum number of sessions has been reached. It is not necessary to manually increase the maximum number of sessions for a shop. The maximum number is automatically increased by prioritizing the shop. provides a waiting room server for Cloud customers. (URL: Pro customers are each provided with their own waiting room server. Once the waiting room is activated, a default layout is available. The texts/css/images for the waiting room can be modified before activation. You also have the option of uploading your own waiting room HTML page. Functionality Description Waiting Room Configuration for a Shop To configure the waiting room, go to Master Data > Company > Shops and select your shop. In the entry form, enter the following URL under Master Data in the URL for Waiting Room field: Activate the Activate Waiting Room checkbox under Settings. Confirm your entries with Save. Once you have successfully activated the waiting room, the waiting room key is displayed in the shop settings. You can use the "Upload" button to send an alternative HTML page to the waiting room server. Configuration of Automatic Shop Session Increase Select the shop under System > System Monitoring > Shop Sessions. Once the shop has reached the specified maximum number of sessions, all further customers are forwarded to the waiting room. The Shop Priority feature controls the automatic increase of the maximum no. of sessions for the shop, once this has been reached. A higher priority (0 being the lowest) means preferential treatment during an automatic increase SAP SE. All rights reserved. General Availability of Waiting Room
21 Prioritization ranges from = no increase of MaxSession for the shop 1 = increase of 5 sessions per minute 10 = increase of 50 sessions per minute The MaxSession increase occurs only if there still are users in the waiting room. The automatic increase in the number of sessions is performed up to a specified maximum value. This value may vary by system. Prerequisites You require the default waiting room server URL or, for Pro Cluster customers, your own waiting room URL. Activities We recommend decreasing the MaxSession value following advance booking periods. Notes for Implementation The following link displays the status page of the waiting room server: If it shows "OK", the waiting room is ready. 22 17 Help Boxes in SAP ET As of version 1707, offers a new type of context-sensitive help for Web-based user support. Context-sensitive help provides users with a quicker entry point and an uncomplicated way of finding all required information. The Web assistant in the currently open application window shows additional information at a click on the question mark icon: The help instantly shows the exact, context-specific information required by the user. The context help delivers specific information about UI elements directly in the application. It only shows help aimed at the currently displayed screen. Hotspots indicate the UI elements for which help is available. The various content is displayed in a carousel at the lower edge of the screen. A laser pointer shows the connection between help content and the hotspot. Functionality Description To search for content within context-sensitive help, click the question mark icon ( ) on the relevant menu item. This opens the context-sensitive help for the current menu item. Green hotspots indicate the features for which help is available. The carousel at the lower edge of the screen shows brief information on the feature. Clicking the green hotspot opens the help and displays information, and, if available, the relevant documentation as well as a simulation of the setup process. Links open in a separate window so that you can remain in the application. To hide the active help, simply go to another menu item. This reloads the page and hides the help. Help does not become active again until you click the question mark icon again. Help is available in English and German. Notes for Implementation Context-sensitive help is integrated with activated parameters. To view these parameters, go to System > System Configuration > Software Configuration.
