2 Descriptin The Team Members Directry Web Part reads the user entries frm the Sharepint User Prfile Stre and displays the selected user fields in a grid. The Web Part requires Windws Sharepint Server 2010 The fllwing parameters can be cnfigured: Sharepint Site User Prperties t be displayed Filtering, Gruping, Searching, Paging and Srting f rws Number f Grid Clumns ptinal Header text Prerequisites Befre yu attempt t install the slutins yu need t make sure that yu have the fllwing installed n yur server(s): Micrsft SharePint Server 2010 Installatin Manual Installatin 1. dwnlad and unpack the AEXTeamMembersWebpart.zip file. The ZIP archive cntains the AEXTeamMembersWebpart.dll and the AEXTeamMembers.webpart files. 2. drp the AEXTeamMembersWebpart.dll int the GAC f yur Sharepint server (c:\windws\assembly). 3. add the fllwing line t the "<SafeCntrls>" sectin f yur Web.Cnfig file. Please make sure that the line is added as ne single line (n line breaks): <SafeCntrl Assembly="AEXTeamMembersWebpart, Versin= , Culture=neutral, PublicKeyTken=ced1cd9a6bd2f524" Namespace="AEXTeamMembersWebpart" TypeName="*" Safe="True" SafeAgainstScript="False" /> 4. frm the tp site g t "Site Actins/Site Settings/Mdify All Site Settings/Galleries/Web Parts" 5. use the "Uplad" menu ptin t uplad the AEXTeamMembers.webpart file. Autmatic Installatin 1. Unpack the AEXTeamMembersWebpart.wsp and Install.bat files frm the Zip Archive and place the 2 files nt yur Sharepint Server. 2. Add the Slutin by either running Install.bat r manually entering: stsadm - addslutin -filename AEXTeamMembersWebpart.wsp 3. Deply the slutin by navigating with yur brwser t Central Administratin > System Settings > Farm Management > Manage farm slutins :

3 4. Yu shuld nw see the AEXTeamMembersWebpart.wsp in the farm s slutin stre: Click n AEXTeamMembersWebpart.wsp t deply the slutin:

Prceed t activate the feature by navigating t the Site Actins/Site Settings page in yur tp-level site: Chse Site cllectin features t navigate t the Site Cllectin Features page: Activate the AE Team Members Web Part feature Adding the Web Part t a Page Navigate t a page where yu wuld like t place the web part and chse "Site Actins/Edit Page" Add the web part t the apprpriate zne. The web part is listed in the "Amrein Engineering" gallery sectin :

5 Security Nte: if yu get the fllwing errr message: "Only an administratr may enumerate thrugh all user prfiles", yu will need t grant the applicatin pl accunt(s) fr the web applicatin(s) Manage User Prfiles permissins within the SSP. This ensures that the applicatin pl is able t retrieve the list f user prfiles. T assign this permissin, access yur active Shared Services Prvider via Central Admin. Frm the User Prfiles and My Sites grup, click Persnalizatin services permissins. Add the Manage User Prfiles permissin t yur applicatin pl accunt(s).

6 Web Part Cnfiguratin Cnfigure the fllwing Web Part prperties in the Web Part Editr "Miscellaneus" pane sectin as needed: Site Name: Enter the name f the site that cntains the User Prfile Stre: - leave this field empty if the User Prfile is in the default SSP - Enter "current" if the User Prfile is in the current site - Enter the Site name t chse a specific SSP Field Template: enter the desired User Prfile prperties (surrunded by curly braces). 7 The fllwing standard Sharepint User Prfile prperties are available: AccuntName FirstName LastName PreferredName WrkPhne Office Department Title Manager AbutMe Presence PictureURL UserName QuickLinks WebSite Wrk Assistant CellPhne Fax HmePhne PersnalSpace SPS-Dtted-line SPS-Peers SPS-Respnsibility SPS-Skills SPS-PastPrjects SPS-Interests SPS-Schl SPS-SipAddress SPS-Birthday SPS-MySiteUpgrade SPS-HireDate Srt By: enter the User prperty t define the default srt rder. Yu can add multiple prperties separated by cmmas. Examples: Department Department,LastName Prperty Filter: enter an ptinal Filter cnditin t apply a filter. Cmbine multiple cnditins with AND and OR. Yu can chse frm the fllwing filter peratrs: Operatr Descriptin AND Cmbines mre than ne clause. Recrds must match all criteria t be displayed. OR Cmbines mre than ne clause. Recrds must match at least ne f the filter expressins NOT Reverses an expressin. Can be used in cnjunctin with any ther clause. <, >, <=, and >= Perfrms cmparisn f values. These cmparisns can be numeric r alphabetic. BETWEEN Specifies an inclusive range. Example: Units BETWEEN 5 AND 15 <>, = Perfrms equality testing. IS NULL Tests the Prperty fr a null value. IN(a,b,c) A shrt frm fr using an OR clause with the same field. LIKE Perfrms pattern matching with string data types. + Adds tw numeric values, r cncatenates a string. - Subtracts ne numeric value frm anther. * Multiplies tw numeric values. / Divides ne numeric value by anther. % Finds the mdulus (the remainder after ne number is divided by anther). Examples: Department='IT' Department<> 'Sales' Department IN ('Sales', 'Develpment', 'IT') LastName NOT IS NULL AND Department='Sales' Grup Membership Filter: enter an ptinal Sharepint Grup t nly display the members f this grup Number f Clumns: enter the number f Grid clumns Use Image Thumbnails: use the user image thumbnails as generated by Sharepints. Uncheck this ptin if yur user prfile images have nt been upladed via Sharepint. Header Text: enter an ptinal header text. Please nte that yu can embed HTML tags if needed.

8 CSS Style: enter the desired CSS style fr the surrunding cntainer. Cache Retentin Time: enter the data cache retentin time in minutes (enter "0" t turn ff the cache feature) t speed up cnsecutive page visits. The use f this feature is recmmened fr large User Prfile stres. nter the ptinal clr f the alternating rw backgrund (leave blank t use default). License Key: enter yur Prduct License Key (as supplied after purchase f the "Team Members Web Part" license key). Leave this field empty if yu are using the free 30 day evaluatin versin r if yu chse ne f the License Activatin described belw. License Activatin Yu have the fllwing 3 ptins t enter yur License Key: 1. Enter the License Key int the crrespnding License Key field in the web part cnfiguratin pane (See Descriptin abve). 2. WSP Slutin Deplyment: Add the License.txt file (as supplied by AMREIN ENGINEERING after having purchased a license) t the Slutin at the fllwing lcatin: c:\prgram Files\Cmmn Files\Micrsft Shared\Web Server Extensins\14\template\features\AEXTeamMembersWebpart 3.Manual Deplyment: Add the License Key t yur web.cnfig (typically fund at c:\inetpub\wwwrt\wss\virtualdirectries\80) <appsettings> sectin as fllws: <appsettings> <add key="aetm" value="aetm-x-xxxxx-xxxxx-xx-xx" /> </appsettings> Replace the x characters with yur actual key values. Please nte that this methd requires yu t manually add the key t each Sharepint applicatin.
