Almost all pages in the MIR use this style header containing the global navigation (Measures and Instruments tabs). The header table contains 3 rows that stretch 00% of the screen. See associated HTML file for exact table structure banner3_h.gif is used for the home page. 3. All pages in the MIR use style.css to control fonts and table styles. * These file names correspond with the associated HTML files. They do not necessarily represent the final site file names. They are simply to provide a reference to the associated HTML file. All files shown in this document are contained in M&IR/logged_in/.

Page Title Measures and Instruments Repository : Measures Version.0 File name m_search.htm. banner3_m.gif is used for all measure pages If the user comes to the MIR from a logged in session of the DSS or DBB, they are presented with this subnavigation that allows them to create a measure. If they are not logged in, they will not see the Search Measures or Create a Measure links boxes.gif 4 4. The search engine should function like a google or yahoo search box. Words contained in double quotes should be treated as a phrase, etc. The search should execute if the search box has been populated and the user hits Enter, or if they click on the Search button (search.gif). 5. These categories should be pulled dynamically from the category editor in the current MIR builder These row styles ra and rb are defined in style.css. Tables using alternating table row colors such as this will have a cellpadding= 2" and a cellspacing= ".

This set of descriptors (fields) will be consistent for all measures and instruments. 3. The Printable version button will generate the same printable format that is generated by the Print Measure View in the current MIR Browser. 4. print.gif, send.gif, and add_to_package.gif are the images used here. For DBB users add_to_package.gif will be replaced by add_to_cart.gif

Clicking on [View Measures] on the previous page (..) will reveal the questions contained (if any) in the measure. The question and the text (in parenthesis) for that question will be displayed.

The contents of the filter drop-downs need to be dynamically populated from the category editor of the MIR Builder. 2. search_big.gif 2

Clicking on the category will reveal its subcategories and replace the plus.gif image with minus.gif. Clicking on the parent category once it has been expanded will collapse the category. This functionality should occur dynamically so that the page does not have to reload every time a category is expanded or collapsed.

When clicking on the number in the brackets the measures associated with the category are then displayed. An extra space before and after then number in the brackets should be used to create a larger clickable area for the user. Arrow.gif is used for the arrow. 2. When the associated measures load onto the screen, they should display so that The following measures " is level with the associated category. Or at least close to it. 2

The other measures associated with the category are displayed so the user can click back and forth between associated measures. 2

Clicking on the Create a Measure link in the global header will take the user to this page. When the user is in the Create a Measure section of the site, the link becomes unlinked. 2. This option allows the user to create an entirely new measure. The create button (create.gif) takes the user to page This option allows the user to select an existing measure to copy. The Make a Copy button (copy.gif) takes th euser to.5.. 3

When the user selects a measure from the dropdown list, the text box below populates with that measure highlighted. Copy of is added before the name. The user can either change the name or move on with it named Copy of ".

The measure name that the user chose on page.5 is now shown at the top of the measure properties form. 2. If the user chose to make a copy of an existing measure the properties of that measure would be displayed in this form. See the associated HTML file for the entire form contents. 2

If this was an existing measure the associated questions would already be displayed here. 2. The Add Question button (add_question.gif) will populate the right table column with the question name and text

Checking the checkbox will associate the measure being created with that category. 2. The categories are pulled dynamically from the category editor piece of the MIR Builder. 2

When the user checks a check box of a subcategory (child), the parent categories should also then appear checked. If a parent category is checked the children do not inherit that check, unless they are checked individually.

If a user created the measure they will see a Edit this Measure link anytime they view that measure. Whether they are in the create a measure section of the site or the search measures section. They will not see this link if they did not create the measure.
