Creating Digital Coupons for Your SMS Campaigns Your system's Coupons section allows you to create digital coupons that you can use in your SMS campaigns. This is a very powerful feature which allows you to deliver your special offers to your subscribers in a professional manner. Not only can you use your systems Coupons section to send professional offers, you also have the ability to Geo Target your visitor by his location and send him to a different coupon depending on where he is. All of this is still done with only one url or QR Code! To get to the Coupons section of your system click the Coupons icon from your Main Dashboard: The Coupon section of your system has a sub navigation menu that is broken into six sections. They are: Dashboard This is where you will start when you first get to the Coupon section of your system. Here you will see a quick summary of stats for your pages and campaigns. Campaigns Campaigns allow you to use one QR code or bit.ly link to represent many campaigns all at once. We'll talk about campaigns in more detail later and how you can use them to do some complex coupon handling. Scheduler The scheduler is where you schedule your campaigns to run. If you create a special Christmas campaign for example, you may want to schedule it for the entire month of December. We'll talk more about the Scheduler when we cover campaigns later on. Pages Pages are your digital coupons or mobile landing pages. You build your pages by dragging and dropping desired widgets onto your page and editing the required settings for each. We'll go over Pages in more detail later on. Reports The reports section shows more detailed stats on your campaigns than the Dashboard stats show. Settings This is where you'll enter required info for your Coupons. The Coupons section of your system is a pretty complex feature but we've tried to break it down for you in a way that makes the most sense. In the following pages we are going to describe each section of the Coupon sub menu in more detail. In order to get you familiar with your Coupons section more quickly we'll start from the easiest and work our way up to the most complex parts.

Entering Your Coupon Settings In order for your Coupons section to operate correctly, you need to enter a few basic things in the settings section. You can get to the Settings section by clicking the 'Settings' link in the orange Coupon sub menu: There are only a few basic settings your Coupon section needs. They are: Location This is the default address of your location. Time Zone The time zone you are in, this is important in order for the Scheduler to work as you expect. Bit.ly API Token Each time you create a page or a campaign in your Coupon section, it will have it's own bit.ly link generated for it. In order for you to track the stats of your bit.ly links that are generated we highly recommend you enter your Bit.ly API Token in settings. In order to get a bit.ly API token you must first set up a bit.ly account. Accounts are free to use and you can even register using Facebook or Twitter if you like to speed up the process! If you don't already have a bit.ly account please go to: Once you have signed up to bit.ly follow these steps to retrieve your API Token: Log in to your bit.ly account, then scroll all the way down to the bottom of the page and click the link that says 'Developers': This will take you to the Developers section of bit.ly. From here click the 'Get Started' button.

From here cick 'My Apps' and then 'Manage My Apps': Here you will see a place where you can register an application (you won't be doing this) or you can generate a generic access token. You only need to generate a generic access token for yourself. You can do this by entering your bit.ly password in the field provided and then click 'Generate Token'. Once you have generated your Access Token, copy it and enter it into your Coupon section's settings. Creating Pages Pages can be used in two different ways. You can give out a page's unique bit.ly url or QR code to access any page directly at any time, or you can build pages to be used in campaigns. In this section

we'll talk about creating pages, we'll explain on how they fit together when using Campaigns in the Campaigns section a little later. To create a new Page click on the 'Pages' link in the Coupons Section sub menu: When you first get to the Pages section you will automatically have the new page builder open. To start creating your first page fill out page settings on the top of the Page Builder. Note that Page Title is the only required setting, but the rest may be filled in as needed to get the desired look you want for your page. Along with Page Title you have the following optional settings for each individual page: Background You can choose to select a color for the background image by clicking the 'Color' radio box and then selecting a desired color from the color picker:

Note: You do not have to use the color picker to select a background color, if you know it's hexadecimal value you can enter it in the box. You also can choose to upload an image to use as your Page's background. To do this, click the 'Image' radio box and then click Browse to select an image from your computer to use as the background (must be.jpg file). When you have selected the image make sure to click 'Upload'. Address You have the option to add an individual address for each page. This comes in to play more when you are using campaigns but we will talk more about that in the Campaign section of this guide. Border Thickness Enter a border thickness if you want a border to be displayed around your page. Border Style If you want a border displayed around your page, select what style you would like (try the dashed border style to give your page a coupon like look!). Border Color If you are using a border, select a color to use for it by using the color picker or entering the desired color's hexadecimal value. Custom JS code - This will only be needed by advanced users. If you want to add any additional JavaScript code to your page's header you can add that in this section. Chances are you will not need this! Underneath the Page Settings section you will see the actual Page builder. On the left you have 15 different widgets to choose from. To build your pages all you need to do is choose the widget you want and drag it over to your 'Setting Up Widgets' area of the Page Builder. Some of the widgets are very simple like the Headline widget, some are more complex like the Redeem Button widget. Below is a detailed explanation on what each widget can do, you simply need to pick what works best for you, drag it onto your page and fill out the settings! Available Widgets: Headline The Headline widget allows you to quickly add a fancy headline to any of your pages. The Headline widget pulls the top 300 fonts available from Google Web Fonts and allows you to choose anyone for the content of your widget. The Headline Widget has only a few simple options: Headline Text This is where you enter your actual headline that your want to display on your page. Font Size This is the size you want your Headline font to be. Font Color You may use the color picker or enter any hexadecimal value for the Headline font color. Header Text Alignment You may choose whether you want the Headline aligned left, center or right. Background Image/Color Just like in the general page settings at the top of the page, many widgets

like the Headline widget have the option of uploading a background image, or choosing a background color from a color picker. Font Sorting This chooses how the Google Web Fonts are sorted in your font selection box. You can choose to order the Google Web Fonts by popularity, alphabetically, trending fonts, or date added. Then, select the actual font you want to use from the drop down below the Font Sorting option. In the image below, we've chosen the Lobster font. No Border By default, your widget will display with a small border around it. To disable this border from the Headline widget check the 'No Border' check box. Transparent BG If you want to use a background image, or a new background color for this widget, you can check the 'Transparent BG' check box. This will make the background for the Headline Widget and whatever background color/image you have for the actual Page will show through behind the text. A Coupon page with nothing on it but the Headline Widget pictured above would look something like this: We can continue to add additional widgets (including additional Headline widgets if we want), by dragging more over into the Setting Up Widgets Area. Keep in mind that these Coupon Pages automatically respond to the visitors screen width. So while the above image may be what this page

looks like on a desktop, it will look more like this on a mobile device: Page Content The Page Content widget gives you a What You See is What You Get (WYSIWYG) editor. You can enter any content you want in this WYSIWYG and it will display on your Coupon Page just as it shows in the WYSIWYG editor. You can also use the Page Content widget's WYSIWYG editor to add and edit HTML on your Coupon Page by clicking the HTML icon right above the WYSIWYG editor window: The remaining mini icons in the WYSIWYG editor are pretty standard Text Editing Options. You have bold, italicize, underline, etc. You can see exactly what each icon does by hovering over it momentarily.

Social Share The Social Share widget gives you the ability to Reward Visitors for sharing your Coupon Page with their friends either through Facebook, Twitter, or SMS. When using a Social Share widget you must first decide which share methods you want to include (Facebook, Twitter, , SMS, or any combination of the 4). Check the Check Box next to any share method you want included in your Social Share Widget: Notice when you check the Facebook and share methods, additional options specific to each share type will open up.

The Facebook share type requires the following info: Facebook App ID In order for the Share info (listed below) to show as coming from YOUR Facebook account, you must set up a Facebook App ID. To do this first log into Facebook, then go to: On the Right Hand Side click the button that says 'Create New App' After clicking the 'Create New App' button you'll need to enter a name for your App and your App Namespace. You DO NOT need to check the box that asks if you want hosting: After entering in this info click 'Continue'. For security purposes you'll need to enter a captcha on the next page before going to the last step. On the last page you'll need to enter the domain that you have your SMS system on:

Once you click 'Save Changes' you'll see all of your App info in one place, including the Facebook App ID that you need to enter into your Social Share widget. Share Title Appears as the title when someone shares on Facebook. Share Caption The Caption that appears when someone shares on Facebook. Share Description The Description that appears when someone shares on Facebook. When using the Share type the only additional info you need to add is the Subject that is added to the automatically when someone clicks the Share Icon. Usually something like Check Out This Deal I Found! When using the Twitter or SMS share types, there is no additional info needed. After you have selected the different share types that you want to include in your Social Share Widget, there are a few more fields that need to be filled in which apply to all share types: Share Text This is the text that you want to automatically populate for the Facebook message, body, sms message, or Twitter tweet. Make sure to include the bit.ly link of your Coupon Page in the Share Text so that new visitors can find their way to your Coupon Page!

After Share URL The After Share URL allows you to select a Page that you have already created using the Coupon section of your system to send the users to after they have shared your Coupon Page. This allows you to incentivize sharing because you can offer a greater deal for those who share your Coupon Page. For example you might use a Social Share widget on a Coupon Page displaying 10% off a visitor's next visit, but if they Share your Coupon Page using the Social Share widget they can get 25% off! Icons Alignment This allows you to choose whether to have the Social Share Icons aligned left, center, or to the right. No Border Just like on other widgets you can choose to display the Social Share Widget with no border. Transparent BG Just like in other widgets you can choose to display this widget with a transparent background so that the background color or image of the Coupon Page shows behind the Social Share Icons. A simple Social Share widget set up to use all Share Types will look something like this on your Coupon Pages: Any visitor to this page can share this Coupon with their friends by clicking on either the Facebook, Twitter, , or SMS icons. Scratch 'N Save The Scratch 'N Save Widget allows you to create a Scratch Off Card Like Coupon Page. The Scratch 'N Save widget is pretty simple to set up, here are the different options available when using this widget: Background Image The Background image you upload to your Scratch 'N Save widget will not appear on the widget page at first. It is slowly revealed as the user scratches away the foreground image.

Foreground Image The foreground image is what the user sees when they first get to a Coupon Page with a Scratch 'N Save widget on it. The user must scratch away the foreground image in order for the background image to appear. Widget Background Just like in other widgets, you can choose a background color using the color picker or you can upload a background image. Reveal Radius The Reveal Radius is how large the scratch actually looks on the screen. The higher the number you enter here, the faster the foreground image can be scratched away by the visitor. The reveal radius for the Scratch 'N Share widget pictured below is set to 30. Auto Show After Enter the percentage of the foreground image the visitor must scratch away before the rest of the background image auto shows. If you enter 60 in this field, after the visitor scratches away 60% of the foreground image the rest of the foreground image will disappear automatically, fully revealing the background image to the visitor. After Scratch Page After the user scratches the foreground image away, the background image becomes a clickable link which will take the visitor to any page you have already created. Select the page you want the user to visit if they click on the Scratch 'N Share background image. Image Alignment Unlike the Image/Video Widget, images used for the Scratch 'N Save widget are not responsive! This means that the size of the image that you upload as the foreground and background images will be the same size on whatever device you view the Coupon Page on. You can select whether the scratch images are aligned to the left, center or right of the page by selecting your choice from this dropdown. No Border Just like other widgets, you can choose to show no border around the Scratch 'N Share widget. Transparent BG Just like other widgets, you can choose not to have a widget background color/image and instead making the background transparent so the widget background color/image will show behind the Scratch 'N Share images.

Map-Get Directions The Map-Get Directions widget is a simple widget that is useful for showing the location of a special event or a store front. Visitors can also click 'Get Directions' and the system will locate the visitor and calculate driving directions from where they are located to the address you have entered in your widget. There are only a few simple options available in the Map-Get Directions widget. They are: Enter Address This is where you enter the address of the location you want to display to visitors. Zoom Level The Zoom Level controls how far in a map should be zoomed in when a visitor visits a Coupon Page. Add get direction By checking this check box a visitor will see a button labeled Get Directions on the Coupon Page, if they click this button your system will determine their location and display turn by turn driving directions on how the visitor can get from where they are currently at to the Address you entered in the Map-Get Directions widget. No Border Just like other widgets, you can check this check box to have the Map-Get Directions widget display without a border. Transparent BG Just like other widgets, you can click the Transparent BG check box to let the page background color show through this widget (there is only a very small area underneath the map where this will make a difference).

The Map-Get Directions widget shown on the previous page has a Headline Widget and a Social Share widget above it. As you can see, you only need a few widgets for your Coupon Pages to start looking good. The Map-Get Directions widget could easily be moved above the Social Share widget by simply dragging the widget to the desired position and clicking save: The Coupon Page will instantly update with your changes (this makes editing/maintaining your Coupon Pages a breeze!): Image/Video The Image/Video Widget allows you to quickly add a responsive image or video to your Coupon Page. The Image/Video widget has only a few options. If you are using a video in the widget you will have a couple additional options that won't appear when just using an image. The Image/Video Widget options are: BG Image/BG Video When using an Image/Video widget you first need to choose whether you will

be using an Image or a Video for this widget by clicking the appropriate radio button. Upload/URL Whether you are using an image or a video in this widget you have the option to upload or use a URL where your image/video is already hosted. Width/Height (videos only) Since the Image/Video widget is responsive, your video may look distorted depending on different screen sizes. You can choose to enter your desired Width and Height for a Video if you do not want it to resize according to the visitor's screen size. If you want to keep the responsive behavior for your video, leave the Width/Height fields blank. Auto Play (videos only) Check this box if you want the video you are using for this widget to play automatically when a visitor comes to this Coupon Page. Loop Video (videos only) Click this link if you want the Video to loop automatically after it finishes playing. No Border Just like other widgets, you can click this check box to display your Image/Video widget with no border. Transparent BG Just like other widgets, you can click this check box to display your Image/Video widget with a transparent background. Redeem Button The Redeem Button Widget is one of the most complex widgets available, but it is also the most powerful. Using a Redeem Button on your Coupon Pages will allow you to track when a visitor redeems an offer, and once a visitor does redeem an offer, they won't be able to do so again (unless they meet the criteria you set in the options to allow them to redeem the Coupon again at another time).

Before learning how to set up a Redeem Button widget, it is important to know that in order for your Redeem Button to work properly, any page with a Redeem Button Widget must also contain a Scarcity Widget. You can however, click the blue + icon to the right of any widget to make that widget invisible on your page. So even though you must use a Scarcity widget with a Redeem Button widget, you do not have to display it to visitors coming to your page. The one thing that is required in the Scarcity widget to make the Redeem Button widget work is the Redemption Limit. This tells your system how many times a coupon may be redeemed. In the image below you can see that we've entered the only required information we need to in the Scarcity widget, and we've clicked the blue + icon so that the Scarcity widget will not display on the page: We'll go over the Scarcity widget in more detail later, for now we've only entered the required information we need so that the Redeem Button widget will function properly. Using the settings from the image above, our coupon would only allow 100 people to redeem the coupon. Once you have your options in place for the Scarcity widget you can click the icon next to the Scarcity widget (or any widget) to collapse it's content so that you only need to view the Redeem Button widget options. As you can see from the image on the next page, the Redeem Button has a lot of options so collapsing the content of your other widgets may help clear out some clutter.

Let's take a look at each of the Redeem Button widget's options one by one: Button Label Enter the label you want to display for the Button here. For example if you want the redeem button to say Redeem, enter that in this field. Font Color Enter the font color you want for your Redeem Button. Font Size Enter the font size you want for your Redeem Button. Button BG Color You can use the color picker or enter a hexadecimal value for the button's background color here. Button Hover Color You can use the color picker or enter a hexadecimal value for a button hover color here. Refresh Period If you want to allow visitors to redeem the coupon again after a certain amount of days, enter that number here. Using the image above as an example a visitor would be able to visit this Coupon page and redeem it every 7 days. If they try to redeem the coupon more than once in a 7 day

period they will get an error that tells them they have already redeemed the offer. Select Page If you enter a time frame in the Refresh Period field above this drop down, then you will need to select which page visitors will see if they return to this page. Usually you will want to have at least one Coupon Page that displays something like Sorry, there are no offers available at this time. Select whichever page you want visitors to see during their refresh period after redeeming a coupon in this drop down. Thank You Page Text When a user redeems a coupon they are taken to a simple thank you page with some text and an (optional) image. The settings for the thank you page image are located a little further down. Enter the text that you want to display on the thank you page in this text area. You can use %refresh% to display how many days until the user can redeem the coupon again. This is what our simple thank you page looks like using the settings from the image on the previous page: No image is being used on this thank you page, but a Close Button for Clerk is (see below for more details on this option). Redeem Prompt The Redeem Prompt shows in a light box directly after the visitor presses the Redeem Button, and just before they are taken to the Thank You page. In the example in the image below the Redeem Prompt used is: Are you sure you want to redeem this coupon? A clerk must be present!. This is helpful for keeping users from accidentally redeeming their coupons when they are not in the store. Redeem Once If you do not want users to be able to redeem this coupon again after a certain amount of time then you can check this box. Note that if you have this box checked it will negate the options you have set in the Refresh Period field (the user will only be able to redeem the coupon once, ever). Upload Image/Image URL You can upload an image, or provide a URL for an image you wish to

display on your thank you page. This can be any image such as a UPC symbol, or something as simple as a smiley face. Displaying an image on your thank you page is optional, don't check the Upload Image or Image URL radio buttons if you don't want to use this option. Redeem Button You have a couple of extra options for the look of your Redeem Button. In the Redeem Button drop down you can select: Use Label, Upload Image, or Use Template. Selecting Use label from this drop down will simply use a simple button with the font and background colors you've set in the options above. If you select Upload Image, you can upload a custom button image to be used for the Redeem Button. If you select Use Template you will then be given a second drop down with a list of several different templates to choose from. Some templates already have text written over them, if you want to use one of these button templates leave the Button Label field at the top of the widget options blank. Some of the button templates are blank, but you can use the Redeem Button Label and font options to display whatever you like over the top of the blank button. For example the image below uses the button template titled green circle : Above we have entered Redeem in the Button Label field, and entered our font color and size options. This is how the Redeem Button widget appears on our Coupon Page: As you can see the system used the button template image for the background, but has placed our label over the top of it. Using this feature allows you to create some very professional buttons that can say whatever you like! Add Close Button for Clerk If you check this check box a Close button will be added to your Thank You Page (see Thank You page image on the previous page). When this button is pressed the visitor's browser will navigate back to the original coupon URL or the page entered in the Select Page drop down. Force Optin Not only will your system track when a visitor redeems their coupons, but you also

have the ability to force users to opt into one of your SMS campaigns, or you can force them to opt into an list using either Aweber, Mail Chimp, icontact, or Constant Contact. Using the Force Optin option is optional, if you decide you want to use this feature, click the check box to reveal the additional settings you'll need to fill out. First you'll need to decide whether you are going to be forcing the user to opt into an list using one of our integrated solutions, or if you're going to force them to opt into an SMS campaign in your system. If you want to force the user into an list, click the radio button and then select the autoresponder you are going to integrate with. For Aweber, Mail Chimp and icontact you'll need to paste in unstyled form code from your autoresponder. This is usually given to you when you create a webform (it is what you would normally put on your website to capture leads). If you're using Constant Contact you'll need to enter your , password and API Key, the click 'Get List' to retrieve all of your lists to pick which one you want your visitors added to when they opt in. If you want to force the user into one of your SMS campaigns, select the SMS radio button, then click the 'Get Campaigns' button. This will retrieve all of your SMS campaigns from your account, then you can select which one you want the user added to by picking it in the drop down. If you're using the force opt in feature this will add one extra step for the user. Instead of your redeem prompt being something like Are you sure you want to redeem this coupon? A clerk must be present. You should edit the redeem prompt to reflect the fact that the user will be asked to opt into an or sms list on the next screen. The image below is an example of a modified redeem prompt to use with the Force Optin feature (it can still of course say whatever you like it to, this is just a suggestion to make things easier for the user):

Once the user presses OK, they'll be asked to enter either then name and (when using the force optin), or their name and number (when using SMS force optin): Once they enter their information, then they'll be taken to the Thank You page. If you're delivering your coupon by or SMS, you would want to make the Thank You Page Text also reflect this. Instead of saying something like Thanks for redeeming your coupon, you would want the Thank You Page Text to say something like, Please check your messages, we have sent you a text with details on how to claim your offer. No Border Just like other widgets, you can choose to have your Redeem Button widget appear without a border by clicking this check box. Transparent BG Just like other widgets, you can choose to have your Redeem Button widget appear with a transparent background by clicking this check box. Reset Redeems This option will only appear once there has been at least one redemption of your coupon page. By clicking this button you will reset all redemptions and anyone who has already redeemed this coupon can return and redeem again. This is helpful for testing purposes, and also when you want to reset a seasonal offer and allow users to reclaim the offer. Scarcity Widget Just like the Redeem Button widget cannot function correctly without a Scarcity widget, a Scarcity widget also cannot function correctly without a Redeem Button widget. A scarcity widget will show any visitor to your page exactly how many Redemptions are left for a

particular offer. The Scarcity widget is pretty simple to set up, here are the available options: Redemption Limit As we covered earlier when we talked about the Redeem Button widget, the Redemption limit tells your system exactly how many times this coupon page can be redeemed. If you only want 100 offers redeemed, enter this in the Redemption Limit field. Redemption Text The Redemption text is what you want to display to the visitor telling them how many offers are left to redeem. You can use the merge tag %redeem% to dynamically display exactly how many more offers can be redeemed. In the image below we have set our Redemption limit to 100, and our Redemption Text reads: Hurry, there are only %redeem% offers left! So this mean, the first time someone visits this page (before the coupon gets redeemed for the first time), they will see something like this:

You can of course add as many other widgets to the page as you like, here we are just showing a simple example of how the Scarcity widget works. Once the coupon is redeemed by someone, the next person who comes to this coupon page will see this: As you can see, the Scarcity widget dynamically updates your %redeem% merge tag wherever you have it placed in your Redemption Text field and replaces that with the actual number of redemptions that are left. Once the number reaches 0, the coupon page will not be able to be redeemed any longer (unless you click the Reset redeems link in the Redeem Button widget). Font Size Enter the size you want your Redemption Text font to be. Font Color You can use the color picker, or enter a hexadecimal value for the color you want your Redemption text to be. Font Alignment Use this drop down to choose whether to align the text left, center, or to the right. BG Image/BC Color You can select to upload a background image, or you can use a background color for your Scarcity widget. No Border Just like other widgets, you can check this check box to show your Scarcity widget without a border. Transparent BG Just like other widgets, you can check this check box to have your Scarcity widget display with a transparent background. Simple Button The Simple Button widget allows you to quickly add a series of simple buttons grouped together. In the image below, you can see a Simple Button widget in action: This particular Simple Button widget is used to give the visitor access to the company website and social pages. The buttons can lead to wherever you like of course, you can even include the bit.ly links for other pages if you want to allow visitors to view different coupon pages by clicking one of your simple buttons.

The image below shows the set up for the Simple Button widget shown on the previous page: Let's go over all the basic options first, then we'll discuss how to create/delete buttons. Button BG Color You can use the color picker or enter a hexadecimal value for the color you want your buttons background to be. Button Hover Color You can use the color picker or enter a hexadecimal value for the color you

want your buttons to be when someone hovers over them. Font Color You can use the color picker or enter a hexadecimal value for the color you want your font on your buttons to be. Upload Image If you'd like to upload an image for the background instead of using a color, you can upload one here. Click 'Browse' to find a file from your computer, then click 'Upload' when you have selected it. Use Background Color/Image In this drop down, choose whether you would to use the Background color you have entered in the field above, or use a background image that you have uploaded. Text Alignment Choose whether you want your button text aligned left, center, or to the right. Once you have your basic options in place for the simple button widget you can create the actual buttons. Begin by entering your first Button Label and URL in the fields that are already available: Here we have added the information needed for our first button which will read Visit Website. To add another button to the Simple Button widget click the 'Create New Button' button. An additional Button Label and Button URL field will appear for you. Fill in the desired information for this button and repeat the process for as many buttons as you want your Simple Button widget to have.

As you can see in the image above, we've created three separate buttons for our Simple Button widget. If we decide that we want to remove one of our buttons we can always click the icon to remove any button we no longer need. Call Button The Call Button widget is a very simple widget. You just enter a few options and a Click to Call button will show on your coupon page. If someone clicks this device while visiting your coupon page on a mobile phone, it will dial the number you have entered in the settings automatically. Here's a demo of what the Call Button widget may looks like: As you can see, it's a pretty simple button, but if pressed by a mobile visitor it will immediately call any number you choose! The Call Button widget setup is very easy, here are the available options: Button Label Enter the label you want to display on your Call Button widget. In the image above, our button label is Click to Call! Calling Number Enter the number you want to dial when a mobile visitor presses this button. Make sure to add your country code and area code before your number (+1XXXXXXXXXX). Button BG Color Use the color picker or enter a hexadecimal value for the color you want for your Call Button widget's background. Button Hover Color Use the color picker or enter a hexadecimal value for the color you want your Call Button widget to be when someone hovers over it. Font Color Enter the color you want the font to be on your Call Button widget. Font Size Enter the size you want your font to be on your Call Button widget. No Border - Just like other widgets, if you want to display your Call Button widget without a border check this box. Transparent BG - Just like other widgets, if you check this box your Call Button widget will display with a transparent background. Count Down Timer The Count Down Timer widget will display a timer showing how many days, hours, minutes, and seconds until the date and time you enter in the widget options. This is a great way

to add urgency to your offer if it is limited time. The Count Down Time widget is another fairly simple widget with only a few options: End Time The End Time is the date and time that you want the timer to be counting down to. Click on the End Time field to bring up a date picker to choose the date and time the timer should reach 0 at. Timer Text The Timer text is what displays with the timer. Use the merge tag %timer% to display the actual timer. For example, in the image above our Timer Text is: Hurry! Only %timer% left until this deal is over! This is how this would display on our coupon page: Div Opacity You have the option to change the Timer widget's opacity here if you want. Font Size Enter the size you want the font in your Count Down Timer widget here.

Font Color Use the color picker or enter a hexadecimal value for the color you want your font to be in your Count Down Timer widget. No Border - Just like other widgets, you can check this check box to show your Count Down Timer widget with no border. Transparent BG Just like other widgets, you can check this check box to display your Count Down Timer with a transparent background. Add to Cart The Add to Cart widget allows you to select from several different button templates to create a fancy button to take visitors wherever you like. There are only a few basic options in this widget: Button Label If you are not going to be using a button template provided by this widget (see below), or you want to use a blank button template with your own label, enter the label you want to use here. In the demo above, we left this field blank because we chose a button template with a label already on it. Font Size If you are using your own button label, enter how large you want the font to be here.

Landing Page URL This is the URL the visitor will be taken to when the press the button. Select Button Here you can choose whether you want to use just the Label you entered above, upload an image for a button, or if you want to use one of the button templates available in this widget. In the demo above we selected Use Template. Select Button Template - If you are using a button template choose which template you want to use in this drop down. No Border Just like other widgets, you can check this check box to show your Add to Cart widget without a border. Transparent BG Just like other widgets, you can check this check box to display your Add to Cart widget with a transparent background. Loyalty The Loyalty widget allows you to run a punch card like campaign directly on when of your coupon pages. You create a list of daily keywords, and decide how many punches a visitor must get before they are taken to a different coupon page of your choice (usually to claim an offer). The Loyalty widget has some basic options just like many other widgets. We'll cover the display options and then we'll take a look at how to add daily keywords to your Loyalty widget. As you can see from the above image, most of the display options are pretty standard, and some are exclusive to this widget only. Here are the basic display options for the Loyalty widget:

BG Image/Color You can select whether you want to upload a background image, or if you want to use a background color by using a color picker or entering a hexadecimal value. Font Color Use the color picker or enter a hexadecimal value for the color you want your font to be on your Loyalty widget. Font Size Enter the size you want the font to be on your Loyalty widget (you do not need to add px at the end, just enter the number). Text Alignment Select whether you want the text to be aligned to the left, the center, or the right on your Loyalty widget. Text Above CodeBox The Text Above CodeBox displays right above where the user will enter and submit the daily keyword. In the image on the previous page our Text Above CodeBox is: Please enter the keyword of the day: and this is how it appears on our coupon page: Codes Required Codes Required is how many times a visitor must enter a daily code before they are taken to the Winner Page (see below). A visitor may only submit each keyword one time. In the image on the previous page we have our Codes Required set to 10 which means visitors need to enter 10 valid daily keywords before they are taken to the Winner Page. Invalid Code Prompt The Invalid Code Prompt will be shown to the user if they enter a keyword that is not valid for that day. In our example on the previous page the Invalid Code Prompt is: Sorry, that keyword is not valid. Loser Prompt The Loser Prompt is what the visitor sees when they submit a valid keyword, but have not yet reached the required amount of codes to reach the Winner Page. You may use the merge tag %togo% to dynamically display how many codes a user has left to submit. In the image below, we are using our demo that has Codes Required set to 10. Here is what a visitor will see the first time they submit a valid keyword:

Once the visitor gets his 10th daily keyword entered, instead of being shown this prompt they will be redirected to the Winner Page (see below). Winner Page Once a visitor submits the required number of codes (as determined by what you enter in the Codes Required field) they will be taken to the Winner Page. You can select the Winner Page from this drop down and it may be any other Coupon Page that you have already created. Once you have all the basic display options in place for your Loyalty widget you can start adding your daily keywords. You can add daily keywords to your Loyalty widget two ways. One is by uploading a CSV with the required info (recommended), or you can manually add daily keywords as well. First we'll cover how to add keywords via CSV upload first as this is the easiest and most recommended way. You'll find the keywords section of the Loyalty widget just underneath the Winner Page option. Beneath the box labeled Keywords there is a link to download a sample CSV. Click this link to download the CSV template. You can open this CSV template in any spread sheet editor (if you do not have one OpenOffice is free and is what we use). Notice when you open the CSV in a spread sheet editor there are only two columns. One for Date, and the other for keyword:

You can add as many of your own keywords to the template as you like. Simply enter the date you want the keyword to be valid in the left column (use the format YYYY-MM-DD), and the keyword in the right hand column right next to that. Save whatever changes you make to your CSV when you have added your desired keywords. In the Loyalty widget options click the 'Browse' button, find the sample.csv that you just changed and open it, this will add all of the keywords that you entered in the CSV into your Loyalty widget. You can also manually add keywords one at a time directly from your Loyalty widget if you like. In the Date field enter the date you want your new keyword to be valid (using the same format as before YYYY-MM-DD). Then in the Keywords field enter the keyword you want to be valid for that date, then click the 'Add' button. This will add your newly created keyword to the list of valid Loyalty keywords. Facebook Comments The Facebook Comments widget adds a simple Facebook Comments plugin to any of your coupon pages. There are only a few simple options for the Facebook Comments widget:

No of Posts Enter the number of comments you want this widget to display. No Border Just like other widgets, you can choose to display your Facebook Comments widget with no border. Transparent BG Just like other widgets, you can choose to display your Facebook Comments widget with a transparent background by checking this box. Twitter Feed The Twitter Feed widget will display a live Twitter feed on your coupon page. There are only a few basic options for the Twitter Feed widget. They are: Enter Username Enter the Twitter username of the person you want to display tweets from on your coupon page. No of tweets Enter how many tweets to show. If you enter 10, the Twitter feed widget will display the last 10 tweets. Select Font Color Use the color picker or enter a hexadecimal value for the color you want the font to be in your Twitter Feed widget. Select Font Size Enter the size you want the font to be in your Twitter Feed widget. Select Background Color Use the color picker or enter a hexadecimal value for the color you want the background to be for your Twitter Feed widget. No Border Just like other widgets, you can choose to display your Twitter Feed widget with no border. Transparent BG Just like other widgets, you can choose to display your Twitter Feed widget with a transparent background by checking this box.

Once you have finished creating a page by dragging over your desired widgets and filling in the appropriate settings, click the Save button in the Setting Up Widgets area to save your page. Notice that after saving your page, it is added to your list of pages and assigned it's own bit.ly shortened URL. You can use this URL to send visitors directly to any page you have created, or you can combine several pages together in a campaign to handle more advanced campaign options (see next section). On the right hand side of your Pages list you have an action column: These icons in order from left to right are: View Page Click the View Page icon to open up your page in a new URL. This is how you view your page as a normal visitor would. (You can of course also view your page by going directly to the bit.ly shortened URL that is assigned to it). Edit Page Click the pencil icon to edit a specific page. Generate QR Code Clicking the Generate QR Code will open up the QR code assigned to a specific page in a new tab in your browser. You can save this image to your computer for use in display adds where a QR code is desired. Duplicate Page - To duplicate your page click the Duplicate Page icon. When you do, you'll be asked to enter a unique title for your new campaign. Enter a new title and click Ok. A new page will then be created with the newly entered title and will have all widgets and settings copied over from the page you are duplicating. Note: You may need to refresh your browser after duplicating a page in order for it to appear in your Pages list. Delete Page Click the red X icon to delete any page from your system.

Creating Campaigns Although you can use any Page's automatically generated bit.ly link to access any single page at a time, your system can do something really cool things when combining different Pages into a Campaign. By using a Campaign to deliver your offers, you can assign as many pages as you want to one single URL/QR Code, and control which Page a visitor sees depending on what time it is, what day of the week it is, or by the visitors physical location. Let's take a look at a simple Campaign that will help explain how Campaigns work. For this example we are going to be creating a campaign for a restaurant that has a different special for Lunch visitors and for Dinner visitors. This means that the restaurant will be able to promote one URL/QR Code but visitors will see a different page depending on what time of day it is! In the image below, you can see that we've set up two demo pages to use in the campaign. One page is titled Lunch and the other page is titled Dinner : Notice that we have also created a third page titled No Offers Available. Every campaign will have one default page that it will show when there are no offers scheduled. For example for this restaurant, if they are open for breakfast but don't have a breakfast deal they would send users to a page that says something like Sorry there are no offers available at this time please check back at Lunch or Dinner time! Let's take a look at putting these three pages together to create a campaign. First, to click the Campaigns Icon from the main Coupons navigation menu: When you first open the Campaigns section you'll already be ready to start entering info to create a new Campaign. The first part of setting up any campaign is very simple. You'll start on the Info tab and you have three fields in this section: Title Enter any title you like for your campaign in the Title field. Description This is optional but you may enter a description of the campaign for future reference if you need.

When Campaign Not Scheduled As we mentioned above, every campaign will need a page to take visitors to when no offer is scheduled. You will see exactly what we mean in a little bit, for now just note that we have a page titled No Offers Available and we have selected that page from the Drop Down for the When Campaign Not Scheduled option. Once you have these three options entered, click Save and you will see your new Campaign added to your Campaign list below. You can visit your new campaign bit.ly link or you can click the View icon in the Actions column to visit your campaign. Of course, in order for us to see what we want we need to finish setting the campaign up first. To continue with the Campaign set up process click the Page Settings tab in the Campaign edit area: When you first get to the Page Settings area you'll notice that there is only a blue + icon, an Update Button and a Cancel Button. Click the blue + icon to add a new Page List to this campaign. After clicking the + icon you'll be presented with three options for this new Page List: Description This can be anything you like, it should of course describe the page(s) you are adding to

this Page List. For our example we have just entered Lunch Offer. Select Pages By clicking the green field next to Select Pages you can select whichever page(s) you would like to add to this Page List. For this first example we have only selected one page, our Lunch page. Save your selections by simply clicking outside of the selection box. Add Time Slot There are two parts to adding a time slot. First, select which day(s) of the week this page should be visible. For example, you may want your page to only display during lunch times during the week. For our demo we've simply clicked Check All to select all days of the week for this offer. After selecting the days of the week this page should be visible, click away to save your selection. Below the option for selecting what day of the week this Page List should be visible are two drop downs to select the starting and ending time this Page List should be visible.

In the image above you can see that we have selected 10:00 AM as our starting time and 2:00 PM as our ending time. With all the options we have entered in the above demo we are telling our system this: This page list is the Lunch Offer, it should show the page titled 'Lunch' every day of the week from 10 AM to 2 PM. Next we'll set up a Dinner Page List to show our page titled Dinner every day of the week from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM. To add another Page List click the blue + icon again and you'll get another set of Page List settings to fill out: So for the purposes of our demo we now have a Lunch Offer and a Dinner Offer. If someone visits this campaign URL any day of the week between 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM they will see our Lunch page, and if they visit the URL between 5:00 and 10:00 PM they will see our Dinner page.

If anyone visits the campaign URL outside of these designated times, say for example at 8:00 AM, they will see our No Offers Available page because of the options we have previously set up for this campaign. You can of course continue to add as many Page Lists as you like by clicking the blue + icon again. For example you may want to add a weekend snack time offer which would be available between 2:00 PM and 5:00 PM Saturday and Sunday only. You would simply need to add those options to a new Page list (you'd also have to create your Snack page as well). If you ever decide you want to remove one of your Page lists simply click the red icon next to any of your Page lists to remove it. Remember to click the Update button after adding/editing your page lists. Before our campaign will start displaying the way we want it to, we need to do one more thing, add our newly created campaign to our Scheduler. After saving any changes you've made to your Campaign click the Scheduler link in the main Coupon navigation menu: When you first get to the scheduler screen you will simply see a blank calendar. You can double click on any day to open up the Event Creation/Edit Menu:

The Event Creation/Edit Menu only has a few options and they are: Description This is a simple description of your campaign for your reference. You can add as many campaigns as you like to your calendar so it is helpful to add a useful description to each one. Campaign -Select the campaign you are scheduling in the drop down. In the image above we have selected our newly created Lunch/Dinner Special campaign. Color Since you are able to add as many campaigns as you like you can select a specific color this campaign should appear with on your calendar (see next image below) Time Period The time period will be the starting day/time and ending day/time you want this campaign to run. In the demo above we have made this campaign last from June 17 to September 17, as a Summer campaign for example. Click the Save button to save your new event and add it to the calendar. In the image below you can see our newly added Lunch/Dinner Special campaign has been added to our calendar with the color we selected previously: You can edit an event's settings by double clicking on it at any time. Alternatively, you can also click and drag an event to a new date if you like as well. For example if I wanted this campaign to start on June 1st instead of the 17th, I can click and drag the event from the 17th up to the 1st. That's it! According to the settings that we just made for our demo we now have a complete campaign that will show two different offers according to the time of day. You can take your campaigns even

further and can use them to Split Test special offer pages, or Geo Locate a visitor and send them to the page which is considered closest to them as well! We'll cover Advanced Campaigns in the next couple of sections. Advanced Campaigns Split Testing For simplicity, we'll stick with our Lunch/Dinner demo campaign to demonstrate Split Testing. The First thing we need to do is create a Page to add to our Lunch Offer page list that we want to split test with our current page. For this demo we've simply duplicated our previous page and named our duplicated page Lunch1. Make any changes you like to your new page and save them. To split test your to Lunch Offer pages, Lunch and Lunch1, return to the Campaigns section and click the pencil icon next to the Lunch/Dinner Special Campaign to edit it: Once you are on the edit screen for your Lunch/Dinner Special campaign click the Page Settings tab. To split test your two pages you simply need to click the drop down for Select Pages and select your newly create Lunch1 page (leave your original Lunch page selected as well):

Once you've added your new Lunch1 page update your settings and now whenever a visitor comes to your campaign URL between 10 AM and 2 PM the system will split test and show half Lunch and the other half Lunch1. Important! It's important to know that our campaign will only split test Lunch and Lunch1 if there is either no address entered for either page, or the same address is entered for both. If one address is blank and the other is filled in you will not get the correct results. Entering an Address on your page is used mostly for geo locating users and directing them to the closest offer, which is covered in the next section. Advanced Campaigns Geo Location We mentioned earlier that in order for Split Testing to work properly any pages used in the Page List for your campaign must either have no address entered in their settings, or they must have the same address entered in their settings. In this section we'll talk about how your system will behave if you have a different location entered for each page. Let's return again to our Lunch/Dinner special offer campaign. I'm going to go to my page titled Lunch and enter an address. To do this I simply need to go back to my Pages section in my system and click the Edit (pencil) icon next to my Lunch page.

Then in the Page Settings section at the top I'm going to enter an address for this page: Now that I have my location for my page Lunch I'm going to save my changes and then edit my page Lunch1 to have a different address: Now that I have a different address entered for each page on my Lunch Offer page list for my Lunch/Dinner Special campaign, it's going to act a little bit differently than it did before.

Instead of randomly seeing either the Lunch or Lunch1 page when a visitor goes to my campaign URL, they will be directed to the page who's address is closest to where the visitor is located. Your system will automatically locate the visitor and decide which page to send them to. Advanced Campaigns Combining Split Testing & Geo Location You may have already guessed that you can take your Coupon campaigns one step further by combining Split Testing and Geo Location. In order to use both split testing and geo location at the same time you'll need to have at least two pages on your campaign page list with the same address. If addresses are entered in all of your pages of your page list here is how the system will determine which page to show: Find the closest address to the user If there is only one page with this address the user will be directed to this page immediately If there are multiple pages with this address, then the system will split test the those pages and will send the visitor to a randomly chosen page with that address. To give you a visual idea of how a campaign that uses Split Testing and Geo Location might look like, we've added a couple more pages to our Campaigns Lunch Offer Page List. Now the Lunch Offer Page List contains the pages titled: Lunch, Lunch1, Lunch2, Lunch3. We already entered a separate address for Lunch and Lunch1. Now we'll add a third address and enter it for both Lunch2 and Lunch3.

Now if a visitor comes to our campaign URL the system will first determine where they are located. If it turns out that the address for either Lunch or Lunch1 is closest to the user, they will be directed to the respective campaign immediately. If however, the visitor's location is closest to the address that has been entered for both Lunch2 and Lunch3, then the system will randomly select one of these pages to redirect the visitor to. You can of course continue this process and add as many pages as you like to your Campaign's Page lists to have as many different locations as you want, or to try as many different split tests as you want. Campaign Reports Once you have a campaign (or several) up and running, you can check it's stats at any time from the Reports section. To get to the Reports section click the Reports link on the Coupons navigation menu: On this screen you simply need to choose which campaign you want to view data for, and the time range, then click Submit. Below you can see we have pulled up our data for our Lunch/Dinner campaign: Your data table will display every page from the selected campaign you searched for, along with the number of redeems it has received (if applicable), the number of total visits, the total unique hits, and the number of times each page has been shared with either Facebook, Twitter, , or SMS (if the page contains a Social Share widget). You can view even more detail about your Campaign pages by clicking Detail in the far right column
