1 Joomla! Holiday Apartments template Documentation All the modules that you see in the Demo website of this template are available on our main website e4j.com, in the Free Area page.

2 TEMPLATE INSTALLATION Install the template just like a normal Joomla Extensions from the Administrator section: 1. Menu Extensions - Extensions Manager 2. Once installed, Set the template as Default (Menu Extensions - Template Manager); Choose between four color variations: Blue, Burgundy, Green, Brown, Orange. Extensions - Template Manager - E4JHolidayApartments

3 TEMPLATE PARAMETERS RESPONSIVE You can choose if make your website compatible with devices like mobile, Ipad, etc. enabled the responsive parameter. The Responsive text Navigation Menu is the custom text the it ll show as Main menu when you navigate the website with a device. BACKGROUND AND FONTS You can choose different fonts for the website s body and headers.

4 SETUP THE MENUS After you created your menu, you need to assign it at a menu module published in the mainmenu module position, to do it, you need to go to Extensions > Module Manager, create a new Menu module and then publish it in the mainmenu position of the template. SETUP THE LOGO Setting up the logo in Joomla is easy. Just create a Custom HTML module in the logo position. Now you insert an image from the Joomla editor image. The html output will have this apparence: <img src= images/logo.png width= 200 height= 50 alt= logo /> SETUP THE SLIDER We are using our module Vik Content Slider, you can download all the modules mentioned in this documentation in the Free Area of our page: With this module you can create as many slide as you want through the Add slide button. The configuration is quite simple, you should just choose the visibility of dots, arrows, autostop, etc and the alignemet of the text. Once you have done it, you have the following fields for each image: Slide image - This field allow you to choose the images Slide Title slide - In this field you can write the title of your slide Slide Caption - This is the field for the description of your slide N.B. If you have a problem with the slider, set to No the: Basic Options -> Load JQuery SETUP THE OUR ROOMS MODULE (VikBooking Rooms) This module will show all the rooms of your facility, you can decide how many rooms do you want to show in the first display and how do you want to scroll them. 7 CUSTOM MODULES Holiday Apartments provides differents types of module variations. To apply these variations you have to add the class suffixes to your modules from their Advanced Configuration. N.B. All the classes suffix that you will see below needs to be write without quotes Before you start to write the class that you have choose, you have to leave a white space (in the example below we have highlight the white space with red color), in this way: The template has differents kind of module variations, let s start from the variations that change the color or some particolar graphic details. To keep in mind that the background color of a module is grey, beside you can see an example of the default Colors class suffix: 1 SUFFIX white As the name said, this class suffix changes the background from grey to white. You can find another example in our module Our Rooms. This module has a white background instead the default grey.

8 2 SUFFIX imglarge This class suffix remove the padding only for the first image of this module. Of course, you need to set up manually the width of the image so that it s of the right size. You can find this example in our module on the left column. 3 SUFFIX imglarge This class suffix adds at the title of the module a left border of the template color. Color template variations: 4 SUFFIX color This class suffix changes the default color of the module in the color of your template. Below there are the examples of the module with this class suffix, according to the template that you choose.

9 Combine class suffix It s possible to combine different class suffix, for example, I want a white background and a left border for my title? I can write both the classes separated by a space (even in the example we have highlight the white space with red color), in this way: In this example we have a white background and a left border because we combined the classes suffix.

10 Module Login SUFFIX loginmenu To have the Login module of Joomla in the Main Menu, you need as first thing, set up it in the position mainmenu and after add the class suffix loginmenu (remember always the white space before to write). Module Languages SUFFIX langtab This format works with the native Joomla language switcher module and with the Falang switcher module. To have this display the module needs to have enabled the Dropdown and Flag parameters. You need to set up in the submenu-right and after add the class suffix langtab.

11 SUBTITLES FEATURED Holiday Apartment allows to insert subtitles for menu and modules. the mode is the same but the view is different. You have to Insert your subtitle in the title field of your Module or Item menu and place two pipes symbols between the title and the subtitle.
