3 Introduction The WorldNow Producer has some requirements to ensure that your computer works effectively with the system. These requirements are included below along with step-by-step instructions on how to set-up your Internet browser to meet the browser setting requirements. If you are not an administrator on your computer, you may not be able to make changes to your browser and will need to contact your Network Administrator. 1. System Requirements To guarantee the best performance in the Producer and utilize all functionality, we recommend the following set-up: Hardware: 1024x768 screen resolution Software: Microsoft Internet Explorer 8 Mozilla Firefox 7 Adobe Acrobat Reader 9+ For video usage: Microsoft Silverlight 4 For video usage: Macromedia Flash Note: Currently known browser issues are included in the Producer Help Guide, "Known Browser Issues". Browser Settings: Producer URL included as a 'Trusted Site' (Internet Explorer only) JavaScript enabled in the browser Cookies enabled in the browser Pop up/ad blockers disabled for 'worldnow.com' Below are instructions for Internet Explorer 8 and Firefox 7. 4 2. Set-up Producer URL as a 'Trusted Site' (Internet Explorer only) a) Open Internet Explorer. In the menu, select "Tools" and then "Internet Options". b) In the Internet Options window, select the "Security" tab, "Trusted sites and then the Sites button. 5 c) In the Trusted sites window that will appear, uncheck "Require server verification...". d) Type in worldnow.com under Add this website making sure you DO NOT include e) Select the Add button and then select Close. Copyright WorldNow 5 / 12 Confidential and Proprietary

Enable JavaScript in your browser For Internet Explorer: a) In the Internet Options window (see 2a and 2b above), select the Custom Level button. b) In the Security Settings window, select Enable for Active Scripting in the Scripting section. 7 For Firefox: a) At the top of the Firefox browser window, select the Firefox button and then select Options. b) In the Options window, select Content. c) Select Enable JavaScript and then OK. Copyright WorldNow 7 / 12 Confidential and Proprietary

9 b) In the Per Site Privacy Actions window, type worldnow.com in the "Address of website" field. c) Select the "Allow" button and then OK. Copyright WorldNow 9 / 12 Confidential and Proprietary

10 For Firefox: a) In the Options window (see 3a above), select Privacy. b) Under History change Firefox will to Use custom setting for history. c) Select Accept cookies from site and Accept third-party cookies. Then select OK. Copyright WorldNow 10 / 12 Confidential and Proprietary

11 5. Disable pop up/ad blockers in your browser for worldnow.com For Internet Explorer: a) Open Internet Explorer. In the menu, select "Tools", Pop-up Blocker and then Pop-up Blocker Settings. Copyright WorldNow 11 / 12 Confidential and Proprietary

12 b) In the Pop-up Blocker Settings, type in worldnow.com and then select the Add button. c) Select Close. For Firefox: a) You can only disable your pop-up blocker if/when it appears when you log into the Producer. At that point, you will see a bar appear below the URL indicating that Firefox prevented this site b) Select Options and then Allow pop-ups for worldnow.com.
