3 1. Summary [Export Import Tool] is the software to copy the software settings of Panasonic Document Scanner to another PC. 2. System Requirements Note The below system requirements may not satisfy the requirements of all operating systems. 5 4. Installation Install [Export Import Tool ] to both source PC and destination PC copying the settings of the sotwares 4-1 How to install. 1. Start Export Import installer. (Installer name:exportimport_setup.exe or ExportImportXXXXXX_Setup.exe XXXXXX : version number) 2. Execute the installer in order to the instruction of it. 4

6 5. How to use Export Import Tool 5-1 Start Export Import Tool Select and start [Export Import Tool] from [Start Menu]-[All Programs]-[Panasonic]-[Scanner Tools]. 5-2 Export Settings 1. Select software which you want to export from [Export] tub-[setting:] list. Select [Target Model:] in the case of TWAIN Driver and ISIS Driver. 2. Click [Export...] button. 5

7 3. [Browse For Folder] dialog box is displayed. 4. Select a folder to export. Click [OK] button. 5. [Processing was successful.] message is displayed. 6. Setting file is made in the selected folder. Setting file name : Software name_xxxxxx.cab XXXXXX : Date Ex.) 8 5-3 Import Settings 1. Copy CAB file made in Export Settings to another PC. 2. Start [Export Import Tool]. Select [Import ] tub. 3. Click [Setting File:]-[Browse ] button. 4. [Please specify the CAB file to import.] dialog box is displayed. 5. Select the CAB file made in Export Setting. Click [Open] button. 7

The specified software name is displayed in [Setting:] In the case of selection of TWAIN Driver or ISIS Driver, the specified software name and scanner name are displayed in [Setting:] and [Target Model:]. 7. Click [Import] button. 8. [It succeeded in import.] message is displayed. 9. Click [OK] button and close the message box. Note In the case of failing to import, retry with Administrator right. 8

10 5-4 Close Export Import Tool 1. Click [Cancel] button or [X] button in upper right corner. 2. [Export Import Tool] is closed.
