1 Testing your TLS version If you are not able to access Progressive Leasing websites, you may need to upgrade your web browser or adjust your settings. In order to test your TLS version to see if it is causing an issue, visit the following site: If your browser supports the latest version of TLS (1.2), you will see this message: If your browser does NOT support the latest version of TLS (1.2), you will see this message: Scroll down further to see a full list of your supported TLS versions. TLS 1.1 or 1.2 must be Yes in order to properly view our sites. If they are not set to Yes, read on further for instructions on how to upgrade your web browser and ensure TLS 1.1 and 1.2 are enabled. Please note that you may need to contact your company s IT support team in order to upgrade your browser.

2 Ensuring your web browser is TLS 1.1/1.2 compliant Microsoft Internet Explorer and Edge Compliant versions: Microsoft Internet Explorer versions 8, 9, 10 and 11 running in Windows 7 or above, Mobile version 1.1 and all versions of Edge Check to see which Internet Explorer version you currently have: - Open Internet Explorer - Click on the gear icon - Click About Internet Explorer Update your browser (if needed check compliant versions above) - Download the latest version from the Microsoft website - Select your Product Version (operating system) and choose 32-bit or 64-bit (if you need assistance with determining which one to use, visit this help page) - Run the EXE file by clicking on it in the bottom bar of Internet Explorer or by browsing to the download location. - Follow instructions for the installation on screen. Check to make sure TLS 1.1/1.2 is enabled - Open Internet Explorer - Click on the gear icon (see above) - Click Internet Options - Click on the Advanced tab - Scroll down and ensure that the options for TLS 1.1 and TLS 1.2 are checked

4 Google Chrome Compliant versions: Chrome 38 or higher and Chrome 22 to 37 on Windows XP SP3, Vista or newer Check to see which Chrome version you currently have: - Open Google Chrome - Click the 3 dots at the top right - Move your mouse over Help and then click About Google Chrome Update your browser (if needed) - Open Google Chrome - Click the 3 dots at the top right (see above) - Click Update Google Chrome (note: if you do not see this option, you re on the latest version) Check to make sure TLS 1.1/1.2 is enabled - Open Internet Explorer (even though you use Chrome, these settings are pulled from Internet Explorer) - Click on the gear icon (see above) - Click Internet Options - Click on the Advanced tab - Scroll down and ensure that the options for TLS 1.1 and TLS 1.2 are checked

5 Mozilla Firefox Compliant versions: Version 23 and higher Check to see which Firefox version you currently have: - Open Firefox - Click the menu button - Click Help and then click About Firefox Update your browser (if needed): - Open Firefox - Click the menu button (see above) - Click Help and then click About Firefox - Firefox will begin checking for updates and downloading them automatically (so long as you are connected to the internet) - When the updates are ready to be installed, click Restart to update Firefox

6 - Note: if the update did not start, didn t complete or there was some other problem, please use this download link to download the latest version of Firefox.

7 Apple Safari Compliant versions: Version 7 and higher for OS X 10.9 Check to see which Safari version you currently have: - Open Safari - Click on Safari at the top of the screen - Click About Safari Update your browser (if needed): - To check for Mac software updates, open the App Store on your Mac. - Click Updates at the top. - Click Update beside of any pending OS updates. - Note: Safari updates are managed via MacOS updates. You must be on OS X 10.9 (Mavericks) or later for your Safari browser to be compliant. If you are on an older OS version, it is recommended that you use Google Chrome or Firefox instead
