IMPORTANT INSTALLATION NOTES: Befre upgrading t Velcity 3.7 SP1 (frm a Velcity 3.6 release), yu must register yur Velcity sftware and btain the necessary license(s). See the Velcity Licensing tpic fr details. Existing Velcity users mving frm 3.6 t 3.7 shuld use the Velcity Update Wizard. This wizard simplifies the effrt required t upgrade, and uses smaller installatin files than the Upgrade Wizards prvided fr previus versins f Velcity. New installatins f Velcity 3.7 SP1 require Micrsft SQL Server 2014 r later. Velcity 3.7 SP1 prvides yu with the ptin t install the free Express editin f SQL Server If this Express editin is nt adequate fr yur needs, then yu must install a licensed editin f a supprted versin (2014, 2016, r 2017) f SQL Server, befre ding a new Server installatin f Velcity 3.7 SP1. If yu already have SQL Server 2014, 2016, r 2017 installed n yur server, the Velcity 3.7 SP1 Installer detects and uses yur full editin f SQL Server fr the Velcity database. Page 1 f 5

Hardware Requirements In summary, the hardware minimum requirements fr a cmputer perfrming the rle f a Velcity 3.7 SP1 Server, Client, r Wrkstatin are the same as fr the Velcity 3.6 release. There is n Hub Tamper event messaging in Velcity when there is n lck paired with the Allegin ENGAGE Gateway Wireless lcks require a Velcity Mx-1-W license cmpnent.
