3 1. Introduction IS-381/IS-382 is 1 port/2 ports IP Audio Gateway. Easy upgrade from traditions broadcasting system to IP broadcasting system 2. Functions Internet Audio Receiver with IP With RJ-45 port of standard 10/100Mbit Ethernet; It can make simple settings via browser with WEB interface With fixed IP, DHCP and PPPoE, it can link to the internet. There are two independent sets of 3.5mm audio output ports that can connect independently to amplifier audio inputs (AUX IN) and convey the sound to the speaker via amplifier. It can output the different scheduled broadcasting or voice broadcasting from the broadcasting system separately. Two independent sets of control output normally open (NO) can separately link amplifiers with external start functions. It supports the compression encoding format of the voice processing agreement G.711 It can simultaneously register 3 broadcasting system hosts. -1-

5 5.Panel description (1) SWITCH 1: Normally Open 1; can be connected to an amplifier with external start function through the contact. When Audio 1 outputs the sounds, it can start the amplifier synchronously. (2) SWITCH 2: Normally Open 2; can be connected to an amplifier with external start function through the contact. When Audio 2 outputs the sounds, it can start the amplifier synchronously. (3) DC 12V: power input port (4) Audio output 1: 3.5mm Sound output port1 (5) Audio output 2: 3.5mm Sound output port2 (6) LAN: internet connection port; insert the network cable to establish a network connection (7) PWR: power indicator (8) STATUS 1: sound output status indicator; when the port is outputting sounds, the indicator should be on, otherwise it is off. (9) STATUS 2 sound output status indicator; when the port is outputting sounds, the indicator should be on, otherwise it is off. (10) Link: network connection indicator -3-

6 6.Link schematic diagram 7.Webpage Step1: Open IE browser (or other browser software) and type [ in the URL field. Step2: Enter [Login WEB] page and please type the information [Username & Password (Default: username: voip, Password: 1234)] the field, then press [OK]. After the system has confirmed the password, you will be lead to the device management page (as shown in the figure below). -4-

7 Step3: When completing login to the system, you will see the [System Information] page that provides the information such as Model Name, Firmware Version and Codec Version (as shown in the figure below). -5-

8 7.1 Setting the main screen It offers the following function options, including Network (network environment), SIP Setting (registration environment), STUN Settings (break through the firewall), System Auth. (change account and password), Save Change (save changes), Update (upgrade firmware), and Reboot (restart the device). Function descriptions (1) Network : Network (network environment) provides Status (network status) and WAN Setting (WAN network settings) (2) SIP Settings: SIP Setting (registration environment) provides function options, including Service Domain (SIP registration settings), Port Setting (SIP and RTP port settings), Code Setting (audio format settings), Audio Setting (speaker volume and sound detection settings) and Other Setting (other settings). (3) STUN Setting: It provides STUN Setting (STUN settings) function option to break through firewall. (4) Update: Update (firmware upgrade) provides New Firmware (firmware upgrade) and Default Settings (revert to the original factory settings) function options. (5) System Authority: System Auth (change account and password) function option provides options to change the information of user account and password. -6-

9 (6) Save Change: Save Change (save changes) provides the function options for saving environment settings changed. (7) Reboot: Reboot (restart the device) provides the function options for restarting the device. 7.2 Network (Network environment) Status (network status) Network Status (network status) page displays the information of the current network environment status (as shown in the figure below). 10 7.2.2 WAN Setting (WAN network settings) WAN Setting (WAN network settings) page provides the WAN network connection mode. WAN Setting IP Type IP Mask Gateway DNS Server1 DNS Server2 MAC PPPoE Setting User Name Password Submit [button] Reset [button] Providing the network environmental information settings of WAN port The default setting is the DHCP Client network mode. To provide the Fixed IP (fixed IP), DHCP Client (automatically obtaining IP) and PPPoE (dial-up PPPoE) mode. Fixed IP (fixed IP): use manually setting the IP address by user DHCP Client (automatically obtaining IP): use automatically obtaining IP address PPPoE (dial-up PPPoE): use dial-up PPPoE mode Display IP address information. Display the currently obtained or set IP address information. Display subnet mask information. Display the currently obtained or set subnet mask address information. Display the default gateway information. Display the currently obtained or set default gateway address information The default setting is ; Display the currently obtained or set 1 st ranking DNS server address information; You can enter the IP or Domain Name address The default setting is ; Display the currently obtained or set 2 nd DNS server address information; You can enter the IP or Domain Name address Display the MAC location information of the computer s WAN Providing the settings of the PPPoE dial-up account information Set the dial-up account name information. You can enter numbers or character string. Set the dial-up account password information. You can enter numbers or character string. Proceed the saving of changes settings Clear the entered information -8-

11 * After changing the information to be adjusted, press [Submit] button to complete the saving settings. Choose [SaveChange] option of the main menu to save the change settings. The system will automatically restart.* 7.3 SIP Setting Service Domain (SIP registration settings) Service Domain (SIP registration settings) page provides 3 registration account information and registration statuses. Field Realm 1 (Default) Active Display Name User Name Register Name Register Password Domain Server Proxy Server Outbound Proxy Status Description The 1 st registered account (system default). The default setting is Off (off); Enable the account. When the setting is On (start), it enables the registration account. Enter display name information. You can enter numbers or character string. Enter user name information. You can enter numbers or character string. Enter registration name information. You can enter numbers or character string. Enter registration password information. You can enter numbers or character string. Enter domain name information. You can enter IP or Domain Name address. Enter registration server information. You can enter IP or Domain Name address. Enter Outbound server information. You can enter IP or Domain Name address. Display current registration status. Providing Not Register (registration failed) and Register (registration successful). -9-

12 Realm 2, Realm 3 settings are the same as Realm 1 * After changing the information to be adjusted, press [Submit] button to complete the saving settings. Choose [SaveChange] option of the main menu to save the change settings. The system will automatically restart.* Port Setting (SIP and RTP ports settings) Port Setting (SIP and RTP ports setting) page provides the settings of SIP and RTP communication ports location information. Field Description Channel 1 Providing the settings of channel 1 SIP and RTP communication port location information SIP Port The default setting is 5060; Set SIP port location RTP Port The default setting is 20000; Set RTP port location Channel 2 Providing the settings of channel 2 SIP and RTP communication port location information SIP Port The default setting is 5062; Set SIP port location RTP Port The default setting is 20002; Set RTP port location Submit [button] Proceed the saving of changes settings Reset [button] Clear the entered information * After changing the information to be adjusted, press [Submit] button to complete the saving settings. Choose [SaveChange] option of the main menu to save the change settings. The system will automatically restart.* -10-

13 7.3.3 Codec Setting (audio format settings) Codec Setting (audio format settings) page provides the settings for the using priorities of Codec format, RTP packet size and VAD functions. -11-

14 Field Description Codec Priority Providing the settings for the using priorities of Codec format Codec Priority 1 The default setting is G.711 u-law; 1 st ranking audio format Providing No used (No used), G.711u-law, G.711a-law G.723, G.279, G , G , G and G formats Codec Priority 2 The default setting is G.711a-law; 2 nd ranking audio format Codec Priority 3 The default setting is G.723; 3 rd ranking audio format Codec Priority 4 The default setting is G.729; 4 th ranking audio format Codec Priority 5 The default setting is G ; 5 th ranking audio format Codec Priority 6 The default setting is G ; 6 th ranking audio format Codec Priority 7 The default setting is G ; 7 th ranking audio format Codec Priority 8 The default setting is G ; 8 th ranking audio format RTP Packet Length Providing the settings for the RTP packet length information G.711 & G.729 The default setting is 20 ms; G.711 & G.729 packet lengths. Providing 10ms, 20ms, 30ms, 40ms, 50ms, 60ms, 70ms, 80ms and 90ms formats G.723 The default setting is 30 ms; G.723 packet length. Providing 30ms, 60ms and 90ms formats G K Providing the settings of G K information Voice VAD The default setting is Off (off); G K function. When the setting is On (start), it will start 5.3K. Voice VAD Providing the settings of Voice VAD information Voice VAD The default setting is Off (off); voice detection function. When the setting is On (start), it will use Voice Active Detection (VAD) function. Submit [button] Proceed the saving of changes settings Reset [button] Clear the entered information * After changing the information to be adjusted, press [Submit] button to complete the saving settings. Choose [SaveChange] option of the main menu to save the change settings. The system will automatically restart.* -12-

15 7.3.4 Audio Setting (related settings of sound output) Providing the settings of device volume level, size and status report Field Output 1 Level Output 2 Level Report to Host Host Server Rx Host IP only RTP Timeout Submit [button] Reset [button] Description The default setting is 64; Setting audio 1 output volume level. Maximum 64, maximum 0. The default setting is 64; Setting audio 2 output volume level. Maximum 64, maximum 0. The default setting is OFF; ON means to report the network link status packet to Host Server, OFF means not to report. Setting Host Server IP Address. The default setting is OFF; ON: only allows to receive packets sent by Host Server, OFF: allows to receive the packets sent by other IP Addresses except Host Server. The default setting is 10 seconds: You can set the timeout to automatically revert to standby status when the RTP packet of Host Server is not received. Proceed the saving of changes settings Clear the entered information * After changing the information to be adjusted, press [Submit] button to complete the saving settings. Choose [SaveChange] option of the main menu to save the change settings. The system will automatically restart.* -13-

16 7.3.5 Other Setting (other settings) Other Setting (other settings) page provides the settings of SIP Expire Time SIP Expire Time CutLine Submit [button] Reset [button] The default setting is 60; Settings of the registration time interval; Information setting section (30~86400 sec) Interrupt the current sound output and return to the standby status. Proceed the saving of changes settings Clear the entered information * After changing the information to be adjusted, press [Submit] button to complete the saving settings. Choose [SaveChange] option of the main menu to save the change settings. The system will automatically restart.* -14-

17 7.4 STUN Setting STUN Setting (STUN settings) page provides the settings of STUN Server related environmental information Field STUN of VOIP 1 STUN of VOIP 2 STUN Server STUN Port Submit [button] Reset [button] Description The default setting is Off (off); STUN function. When the setting is On (start), it will use channel 1 STUN function. The default setting is Off (off); STUN function. When the setting is On (start), it will,use channel 2 STUN function. The default setting is stun.iptel.org; Setting STUN server address; You can enter IP or Domain Name address. The default setting is 3478; STUN port location. Information setting section (1024~65535) Proceed the saving of changes settings Clear the entered information * After changing the information to be adjusted, press [Submit] button to complete the saving settings. Choose [SaveChange] option of the main menu to save the change settings. The system will automatically restart.* -15-

18 7.5 Update New Firmware (firmware upgrade) Code Type File Location Submit[button] Reset [button] The default setting is Risc (.gz). Selecting the file type to update. Providing Risc (system firmware.gz) and DSP (DSP firmware.ds) two update modes. Enter the file position and name to update, or press [Browse] button to select file information; The file version name to proceed update. Proceed the saving of changes settings Clear the entered information Step1: In the main page, click and select [Update New Firmware], you will be lead to the [Update Firmware] page. To set the version information to update by selecting Code Type: Risc and setting File Location information. Then please press [Browse] button (as shown in the figure below). -16-

19 Step2: Enter the [Select file] page and select the [gz] file to update [e.g.: VP5110_70105.gz]. Then press [open] button (as shown in the figure below) to return to the main page. Step3: Return to [Update Firmware] page, the [File Location] field will show the -17-

20 information to update. When it is confirmed, you will start executing update by pressing [Submit] button (as shown in the figure below). Step4: Enter the [Note Information] page, the waiting message [When executing version update, please do not unplug the power device and the update will take about 3 minutes.] (as shown in the figure below). Step5: After completing firmware update, you will be lead to the main page, please press [refresh (F5)] button and you can perform other settings. -18-

21 7.5.2 Default Setting (return to original factory settings) Restore Default Setting (return to original factory settings) page provides for clearing the information contents of all changed settings (excluding information of Network) to return to the original settings by the factory. It will automatically restart the system after execution. Field Restore [button] Description Clearing all changed setting information to return to the original factory setting values. Step1: Click and select [Update Default Setting] in the main page, you will be lead to [Restore Default Settings] page. If you want to return to the default values, please press [Restore] button to clear all setting values and it will restart the device automatically (as shown in the figure below). -19-

22 Step2: Enter Note Information page. It is completing clearing setting values and restarting the system. Please wait for a moment (as shown in the figure below). Step3: After restarting, you will be lead to the main page. Please press [refresh (F5)] button to proceed other settings. -20-

You can enter numbers or character string. Enter new password information. You can enter numbers or character string. Enter confirmed password information. You can enter numbers or character string. Proceed the saving of changes settings Clear the entered information * After changing the information to be adjusted, press [Submit] button to complete the saving settings. Choose [SaveChange] option of the main menu to save the change settings. The system will automatically restart.* 7.7 Save Change Save Changes (save changes) page provides the settings of saving changes and it will restart the system automatically. -21-

24 Field Save [button] Description Proceed the saving of changes settings 7.8 Reboot Reboot System (restart device) page provides manual execution of restarting device. Step1: Click and select [Reboot] in the main page, you will be lead to [Reboot System] -22-

25 page. If you want to restart the system, please press [Reboot] button (as shown in the figure below). Field Reboot [button] Description Proceeding the device restarting Step2: Entering Note Information page means the system is in the stage of restarting, please wait for a moment (as shown in the figure below); please do not unplug the power device at the same time. Step3: After completing the restart, you will be lead to the main page. Please press [refresh (F5)] button to proceed other environmental settings. -23-
