1 Digidoc Icon Camera Installation 1. Insert the Icon Camera CD. Do not run anything from the cd until prompted. 2. Plug in the Icon Camera into a USB 2.0 port. This port MUST be 2.0. The PC will find the hardware. The Found New Hardware Wizard will appear. 3. Click Yes, this time only. Click Next. 4. Click Install the software automatically. Click Next. 2 5. Click Continue Anyway on the Windows Logo testing screen. 6. The drivers will load on the PC. Click Finish to complete the Hardware wizard. The camera will appear in Device Manager under Imaging Device as Net_1120 Device (0). Printed copies of this document are considered uncontrolled. 2

3 7. Browse to the Driver CD and Copy the VideoView Application. 8. Paste the Videoview.exe onto the Windows desktop. 9. Double-click on VideoView. Verify the Icon Camera is selected by going to Devices. Printed copies of this document are considered uncontrolled. 3

4 You should now have a live image. Installing the Virtual Joystick allows the buttons to function on the camera. 1. Browse the CD to find the Install_Icon_Capture_Utility folder. Printed copies of this document are considered uncontrolled. 4

5 2. Click on InstallAll.bat. A DOS screen will appear. Then, you will get a MindVision Software screen. 3. Click the dialog box to continue. Printed copies of this document are considered uncontrolled. 5

6 4. An installation wizard will appear. Click Next to continue. 5. Click Next again in the install wizard. 6. Choose the destination directory. If the default is ok, then click Next. Printed copies of this document are considered uncontrolled. 6

7 7. Click Next after choosing the Program folder from the list. 8. Click Next to begin installing. 9. Click Continue Anyway on the Windows Logo testing screen. Printed copies of this document are considered uncontrolled. 7

8 10. Click Continue Anyway on the Windows Logo testing screen. 11. Click Close to complete the installation. 12. Push any key to close the DOS screen. Printed copies of this document are considered uncontrolled. 8

9 13. To configure the Parallel Port Joystick, click on Configure Joystick. 14. Click Add. Printed copies of this document are considered uncontrolled. 9

12 20. Click Finish to complete the wizard. An additional Hardware Wizard will appear to install the HID Controller. 21. Click No, not this time, then Next. Printed copies of this document are considered uncontrolled. 12

14 25. Browse the CD and double-click on the Tools folder. 26. Double-click the Amcap application. Printed copies of this document are considered uncontrolled. 14

15 27. Go to Options Video Capture Pin. 28. Change the resolution to 640X480. Apply and OK. Printed copies of this document are considered uncontrolled. 15

16 29. Click on Options Video Capture Filter. 30. Put a checkmark in DeInterlace. Apply and OK. You should now have live video. Printed copies of this document are considered uncontrolled. 16

17 Eaglesoft Setup 1. Login to Eaglesoft. From the Clinical screen: 2. Go to File Preferences Xray tab. 3. Click the Video button. 4. Choose Standard Windows Driver Model Device and the Icon Cam. 5.
