1 Upgrading Your WinCON s ISaGRAF Driver This manual outlines the steps to install & upgrade your WinCON s drivers. You don t need to install it. However if you want to upgrade to higher version, you may upgrade it by yourself. The WinCON ISaGRAF driver can be obtained at WINCON8000 CD-ROM: \napdos\isagraf\wincon\driver\<version Number>\ For example, version 3.07 is located at \napdos\isagraf\wincon\driver\3.07\ Or you may download it from ftp://ftp.icpdas.com/pub/cd/wincon_isagraf/isagraf/wincon/driver/

2 1. If your WinCON is W-8037/8337/8737 or W-8036/8336/8736, please stop WinCON ISaGRAF Driver first. However if it is W-8031/8331/8731 or W-8039/8339/8739, please goto step 2. Click on End ISaGRAF Driver to stop it. 2. Set up WinCON s IP, Mask, FTP directory & Auto-execute A. Create a folder ISaGRAF inside \Compact Flash folder in your WinCON controller. Then it will be \Compact Flash\ISaGRAF B. Run Start Setting Control Panel, then double click on Network and Dial-up Connections. Then click on LAN Set your WinCON s IP address & its Subnet Mask.

3 C. Run Start Programs WinCON Utility Save Registry. This step will re-boot your WinCON controller.

Download isawincon.exe, mscorlib.dll, ConvertType.dll, ConvertTypeNet.dll, ScanKernel.dll & ScanKernelNet.dll (& license.bin if your WinCON is W-8031/8331/8731 or W-8039/8339/8739) from your PC to your WinCON controller. Then copy the files to \Compact Flash\ISaGRAF\. & then re-cycle your WinCON s power. You may use below methods to download these files.

5 A. Using ftp: WinCON:Please run Start Run, then type in services load ftpd PC: Please open browser and then type in ftp://<ip address>, for ex. ftp:// copy all of them & past it. B. Using Pen Drive Please copy isawincon.exe, mscorlib.dll, ConvertType.dll, ConvertTypeNet.dll, ScanKernel.dll & ScanKernelNet.dll (& license.bin) to \Compact Flash\ISaGRAF\ Remember to re-cycle your WinCON s power. The following steps are not necessary. They are for changing the controller s Slave No. & Com2 s baud rate or delete ISaGRAF program. The default Slave No. is 1 & the default Com2 s baud rate is 19200,8,N,1 4. Driver information. 5. Change Slave No. Modbus RTU port and its baud rate.

7 Click Undo button if you want to restore to the former value. 1 End ISaGRAF Driver This will stop the ISaGRAF driver however the ISaGRAF program is not deleted. That means when you re-cycle the WinCON s power, the WinCON ISaGRAF Driver will run & execute your ISaGRAF program again. 2 Delete ISaGRAF Project, this will delete the ISaGRAF program.

9 Appendix: Update WinCON s OS Image Users may update WinCON s OS image by himself. Step 1 Copy OS image file from PC to WinCON-8000 directory \Compact Flash\OS\ Step 2 Using WinCON Utility to update In Version Update tab : (a) Click Browse to select directory path of the image file (b) Click Write to Flash now to update the current OS version. It will take 10 or more minutes to update your OS to Flash memory, and reboot your system.
