8 The Windows 10 Creators Update is coming The free update arrives sometime in April 3D and VR enhanced support 3D Paint App Night Light feature (color temp warmer at night) Game Mode for improved game performance Edge Enhancements tab preview arrow, other small improvements Cortana Enhancements new voice commands for turning off/restarting/sleeping PC, change volume, 3 rd party access to cortana. Full screen mode. Updated Settings App new categories ( installed apps ), better Windows Defender options, other small enhancements Start Menu more customization options, Tile Folders Photos App New editing filters

10 Tip 1 Make Shortcuts! Create shortcuts so you don t have to visit the All Apps menu On the Desktop o Drag from the All Apps Menu On The Start Screen o Drag from the All Apps Menu On the Taskbar o RIGHT click / More / Pin to Taskbar
11 Tip 2 Change Your Default Browser Instead of using Edge, change to your favorite browser Default with computers means what is automatically used. Edge will be the default browser until you change it. o Start Menu / Settings / System / Default Apps
12 Tip 3 Check Windows Update Microsoft pushes updates to Windows to you on the 2 nd Tuesday of each month. o They fix security holes that hackers attempt to exploit o In Windows 10 it will automatically happen, but you can always double-check!!! Start Menu / Settings / Update & Security / Windows Update / Update History
13 Tip 4 Customize the Start Menu You can change which icons are displayed on the Start Menu o Start Menu / Settings / Personalization / Start / Choose which folders appear on Start Documents and Pictures are nice to add!
14 Tip 5 Use the old Control Panel The classic Control Panel is still there! o RIGHT click the Start Menu button and choose Control Panel
15 Tip 6 Connect the Calendar App The Windows 10 Calendar App can be connected to Google Calendars o Open the Calendar App / Settings / Manage Accounts / Add Accounts o You can also add icloud Calendar
