3 1. Software installation In order to start, you need to double-click on Autorun.exe file which can be found on an installation disc. Installation welcome screen will be displayed within a few moments. On the installation welcome screen you can see some pre-installation suggestions and recommendations. Fast Installation, Expert Installation and Tools buttons can be found at the bottom of the screen. If the installation of software is conducted for the first time, a Fast Installation will be enough. Fast Installation the program will be installed automatically after defining the number of computers supported by the software and after introducing worstations data. When updating, adding new stations, changing configurations, etc., an Expert Installation should be conducted. Expert Installation - Installation of the software is done after installing Database, adding Database Schema, Database tables and Workstations, as well as installing key driver controllers. Tools allows to manage a Database and set workstation configuration. 3

4 1.1. Fast installation After choosing Fast Installation option, you will be asked about a number of computers supported by the software. 4

5 You need to choose one out of two options: one computer or multiple computers. After that you need to click Next Installation on one computer When choosing one computer installation, you will be asked to introduce a workstation data. You can also add a description to a database. After introducing all the necessary information, the Next button will appear automatically. This button allows to continue installation process. After clicking on it, the following installation screen will be displayed, allowing you to install particular software elements. 5

6 After clicking on Begin Installation button, the installation of SQL Database will start. If you use Fast Installation mode, the software will be installed automatically. 6

7 Don't turn off or close installation program during installation process. 7

8 When progress bar is completed, the Installation Wizard will be displayed. In order to install, click the Next button. After installation is completed, you will see the License Agreement window. Make sure you are familiar with it and then accept. Click on I accept... and then Next. 8

9 After accepting the license, you can move on to the next step. In the new window you need to introduce some user's (purchaser's) data: please enter User Name and Organization name (name of the Company). When choosing Install this application for option, you have to define the number of users to which application will be visible after installing. Only for me (crl) for only one Windows account, Anyone who uses this computer (all users) for all Windows accounts users. After clicking on the Next button, select your destination folder for software. 9

10 In order to change the filepath, use the Change button. It is recommended that you install the folder on disc (C:). In order to move on to the next step, click on the Next button. The next window contains information regarding all settings established during installation. With the Back button you can go back to the previous windows and make any setting changes. You can also cancel the installation process, by clicking on the Cancel button. It will cause the wizard to shut down. In order to start the installation process, click on the Install button. The installation process will begin and you will see the progression bar as well. The installation may take up to a few minutes, you need to wait until it's finished. 10

11 After the installation is finished you will see a window informing about the successful completion of this operation. 11

12 In order to complete the installation, click on the Finish button. You will return to the main installation window. Click on the Close button. 12

13 1.1.2 Installation on multiple computers When installing the program on multiple computers, you will be asked to introduce workstation data. You can also add a description to the workstation. After filling both fields, the Next button will show automatically. It enables to continue the installation process. After clicking on that button, you will see the following window, asking whether the computer is a server or a station. If it is a server, click on the Server button. 13

14 You will see the window that informs you the installation is ready to start. 14

15 If computer is a station, click on the Station button. After that, introduce the server settings. 15

16 You will see the window that informs you the installation is ready to start. The installation process is identical to the installation on one computer. 16

17 1.2. Expert Installation If you wish to choose Expert Installation, you need to click on the Expert Installation button located in the wizard. 17

18 After clicking on the Expert Installation button, you will see the following window Database installation Expert Installation starts with Database Installation. To do so, click on the corresponding button. 18

19 You will see the Oracle database Install Wizard. To proceed with the installation, follow the instructions displayed in the process. Installation 19

20 Database Install Wizard welcome screen After that you will see the License Agreement window. Make sure you are familiar with it and then accept. Click on I accept... and then Next. 20

21 In the following window you will be asked to enter password for the SYSTEM database account user. The recommended password is ifter. If you enter another password, it will cause changes to the installer. 21

23 The following window informs you about the successful completion of a Database installation process. You can choose Launch the Database homepage option in order to move on to the Database logging page automatically. The installer will be hidden in a toolbar. 23

24 By clicking on installer located on a toolbar, you will return to Advanced Menu of the installer. 24

25 1.2.2 Add a Database Schema Adding a Database Schema is the next step of the installation process. The following window will be displayed, in which you can add a Database Schema and a password for the user. The default username is 'SYSORA' and the default password is 'masterkey'. To add a schema, click on the Add schema button. 25

26 Within a few seconds the schema will be added, of which you will be informed by the information displayed at the bottom of a window. After the schema has been added, click on the Back button to return to the main window of the Expert Installation. 26

27 1.2.3 Add tables in the Database The next step is to add tables in the Database. To do so, click on the corresponding button. You will be asked to select a file. You need to select kod_oracle.sql. 27

28 When the operation of adding the tables is completed, you will be informed with the information displayed at the bottom of a window. 28

29 1.2.4 Add the first workstation In order to add the first workstation, you need to click on the coresponding button. The following window will be displayed in which you need to enter all the necessary information regarding worksation. 29

30 You need to enter workstation name and the additional description. You also need to enter IP adress for the database server and IP adress of a computer on which software is installed. After introducing all the necessary data, click on the Save button. You will see the window informing you about adding a new workstation. 30

31 1.2.5 Install workstation Install workstation button leads to software installation process. Installation Workstation installation is identical to the Fast Installation. 31

32 The following suggestion will be displayed. Installation was completed successfully - Finish. 32

33 1.3 Expert Installation other options Uninstall a Database Install database button leads to uninstallation of a database server. It is recommended to export the database before that and to make a backup copy of the folder dpdump located at C:\oraclexe\app\oracle\admin\XE. Install Wizard will start, allowing you to conduct uninstallation. To proceed with uninstallation, follow the instructions of the wizard. 33

34 Uninstallation is conducted when any errors occured during database server installation, or if the installation process has been canceled before completion. Sometimes uninstallation is necessary when the server was damaged during operation and all the other ways to restart it have failed. In this kind of situation, use the Repair option presented below. If it fails, you need to conduct uninstallation. 34

35 1.3.2 Delete a database schema It is recommended to export the database before deleting the database schema. 35

36 The following window will be displayed click on the Remove schema button and wait until the operation is finished. Upon completion the following information will be displayed at the bottom of the window. The operation is successfully completed 36

37 1.3.3 Installation of key driver controllers After clicking on the Install key driver button, the controllers of the key driver will be installed automatically. When the operation is finished you will see the window informing you about a successful completion of the key controllers installation. 37

38 2. Tools Tools button allows to manage a database and configure a workstation. 38

39 After clicking on the Tools button, the following window will display: 39

40 2.1 Database import / export Database export In order to export a Database you need to select Export tab, click on Export button and wait until the operation is finished. 40

41 Export process preview After the export is completed, the Notepad window will be displayed, informing about the completion of the operation. This window contains the name of the folder in which the Database can be found. 41

42 You will see the information: The operation is successfully completed Database import Import tab allows to import Database files (the files can be found at: C:\oraclexe\app\oracle\admin\XE\dpdump). In order to import a Database you need to select a file with the.dmp extension, and then you need to click on the Import button. Attention: If you import the schema, it will erease all data from the schema which existed previously under the same name. 42

43 Enter the name of the schema you wish to import. Generally its name is SYSORA Import process preview 43

44 After this operation is finished, the Notepad window will be displayed. This window contains information about the process, its correct run and erros, if there are any. Completion of import 44

45 2.1.3 Settings Via tab you can select Database files localization. You can also change the system password of the Database, which was set in the installer. 2.2 Database connection test 45

46 The following window will be displayed, informing you whether or not the connection was established successfully. The colours of the dots indicate the connection status: orange connecting in process... green successful connection red connection failed 46

47 2.3 Workstation settings The following window will be displayed, in which you configure each IP adress: Database server IP, on which the database server is installed, as well as IP of a computer on which software is installed. 47

48 2.4 Configuration test After window is displayed, you need to click on the Begin test button. The configuration test will begin. You will see the information displayed after it's finished. Test result - OK. 48

49 If any errors are detected during the test, you will see a window on the left side that will allow you to repair the failure. 49

50 2.5 Configuration of services This option allows to change the running mode. After clicking on the Configuration of services button, you will see the path of the standard installation of.exe ( C:\ifter\EQU\IFTER_EQU.exe). If the program was installed somewhere else, you need to click on the Search button in order to select the proper filepath of IFTER_EQU.exe. 50

51 After switching to the service mode, the program is started without a graphic interface in the Windows mode. There will be an information displayed: The service has been registered. 51

52 Switch to the application mode the service stops and then gets deregistered. 52
