1 IMPORTANT: Before proceeding, please ensure the Sawgrass PowerDriver or ChromaBlast Driver for your printer model is installed. For assistance with Driver installation, refer to the Installation Guide. Also, you must configure your graphics design program to print using Sawgrass inks. For assistance with configuration, refer to the Print Setup Guide that corresponds with your ink set, printer model, and graphics design program. The is included with the installation of the PowerDriver or ChromaBlast Driver. The ColorSure Palette is a collection of preset colors which are handpicked and highly suitable for use in creating designs when printing with SubliJet or ChromaBlast ink. Activating & Printing The following will explain how to activate and print the using PowerDriver or ChromaBlast Driver..) To begin, click your start icon and select Devices and Printers (see FIGURE ). If you are using an older version of Windows, you will instead select Printers and Faxes. NOTE: You can also access the PowerDriver or ChromaBlast Driver Printing Preferences window by clicking Print Properties or Print Preferences within the print window of your graphic design software. 2 .) In the Devices and Printers folder, right-click on the PowerDriver or ChromaBlast Driver icon and select Printing Preferences (see FIGURE ). This will open the PowerDriver or ChromaBlast Driver Printing Preferences window (see FIGURE 3). FIGURE 3.) Adjust the printing preferences accordingly and click Apply to continue (see FIGURE 3). This box MUST be checked in order to print using the spot colors F. This box MUST be checked unless the image has been mirrored in the graphics program G. Click Apply to continue 4.) Ensure the printer is ready to print with transfer paper installed. Then, click Print Palette (see FIGURE 4). The default should now begin printing through the printer selected as the OEM printer. 4 Loading and Integrating Spot Colors with Artwork The following will explain how to load the into your graphics program and how to integrate spot colors from the with your artwork during the design phase..) 6 4.) Scroll down and double-click the Sawgrass folder (see FIGURE 4). FIGURE 4 5.) Double-click the folder for your PowerDriver or ChromaBlast Driver. For this example we have selected the PowerDriver R GX7000 (see FIGURE 5). FIGURE 5 PAGE 6 of 0 >>

7 6.) Double-click the Corel folder (see FIGURE 6). FIGURE 6 7.) Select the Corel.cpl fi le and click Open (see FIGURE 7). NOTE: If the fi le is not visible, ensure Legacy custom palette(*.cpl) is selected as the fi le type in the window below or try restarting your graphics program. FIGURE 7 PAGE 7 of 0 >>

Remember to select colors from the for consistent, spot on, color matching when creating and printing images using ChromaBlast or SubliJet inks. FIGURE 8 9.) Each ColorSure color square has been assigned a ColorSure name. Each ColorSure name has an individual RGB color value which is processed through the driver as a spot color. To view the ColorSure name of a color square, simply hover the mouse pointer over the ColorSure color square (see FIGURE 9). NOTE: In order for the ColorSure names to read correctly, you may need to update your graphics program. In Corel, this can be done by clicking Help > Updates. FIGURE 9 PAGE 8 of 0 >>

9 0.) In the following demonstration we will show how to apply ColorSure Colors to a vector image. Begin by opening an image (see FIGURE 0). FIGURE 0.) Select or highlight an object within the artwork where you would like to use a ColorSure color. Here, we have selected the cloud. The original color name of the cloud is R:87 G:3 B:4 (see FIGURE ). 10 .) Click the ColorSure color square you would like to assign to the cloud. Below, we have chosen to print ColorSure Cyan for the cloud (see FIGURE ). You must repeat Steps & for every object you wish to change to a ColorSure spot color. FIGURE 3.) Before printing the image, remember to check ColorSure in the PowerDriver or ChromaBlast Driver Printing Preferences window (see FIGURE 3).
