AFFECTED VEHICLES All models, all model years SERVICE INFORMATION This is to inform you that an improved version of CSS-Net World Wide Manual for Windows 8 / 8.1 has been created. From this version onwards, Firefox is required for browsing the ESI (Electrical Service Information). We have also carried out improvements in viewer display. Please note that the CSS-Net World Wide Manual currently in use will not be available from October 31th, REFERENCE INFORMATION 1. Downloading the new CSS-Net World Wide Manual installer The new CSS-Net World Wide Manual installer can be downloaded from another website. Please see Attachment 1 for details. The icon of the current version on the desktop will be deleted by this installation. However, depending on the timing of installation, it will not be deleted. *CAUTION: Downloading the new CSS-Net World Wide Manual installer requires you to login in with your ID and password for the World Wide Manual. 2. Downloading the Firefox installer Firefox installer can be downloaded from the Mozilla website. Please see Attachment 2 for details. 3. Availability for use You can view the New CSS-Net World Wide Manual immediately after installation.

System Requirements Suggested / Required PC Specifications -OS : Windows 7 SP1 (32bit / 64bit) Windows XP SP3 (32bit) / Vista SP2 / 7 SP1 / 8 /8.1 (32bit / 64bit) Note: RT excluded -BROWSER : Internet Explorer 10 / Internet Explorer 7-11 Firefox ESR (confirmed version: Ver31.1.0) Note: To install both browsers is required. -MEMORY : 3GB RAM+ / 1GB RAM/ 5. Major Changes 1. The Viewer to open manuals other than the ESI version has been changed. Please see Attachment 3 for details. 2. The format of ESI has been changed. (The format of the soon-to-be-released ESI has been changed.) Please see Attachment 4 for details. 6. Current version expiry. The CSS-Net World Wide Manual currently in use (accessed via the below icons) will not be available from October 31th, Troubleshooting CSS-Net World Wide Manual does not display correctly Depending on your Internet Explorer settings, the CSS-Net World Wide Manual may not display correctly. 5 Attachment 1 Installation Specifications for Isuzu CSS-Net World Wide Manual 1) Required User Level -For Installation: -For Use: Users Administrators 2) Suggested / Required PC Specifications -OS : Windows 7 SP1(32bit/64bit) / Windows XP SP3(32bit)/Vista SP2/7 SP1/8/8.1(32bit/64bit) Note: RT excluded -BROWSER: Internet Explorer 10 / Internet Explorer MEMORY: 3GB RAM+ / 1GB RAM/ 3) In case your internet connection is blocked during installation by virus protection software or windows firewall, windows defender, network protection, etc., please enable the following programs. 6 Attachment 1 Installation Instructions for Isuzu CSS-Net World Wide Manual 1) Access download site URL: 2) Enter your user ID and password on the login page. 2) Click on the link below.

7 Attachment 1 3) When the following window appears, click Save as. 4) Select desktop as the download folder, then click Save. 5) Once download is finished, right-click on the installer and select Properties.

8 Attachment 1 6) When the properties screen appears, click Unblock, then press OK. 7) Right-click again on the downloaded installer, then click Run as Administrator. 8) Click Yes in the following window.

9 Attachment 1 9) When the welcome screen for Windows Installer appears, please click Next. 10) Click Install to start installation.

10 Attachment 1 11) Please be patient while files are installed on your PC as it may take several minutes. 12) Click Finish to exit the window.

11 Attachment 1 Setting up the Isuzu CSS-Net World Wide Manual I. Adding Isuzu CSS-Net to Trusted Sites. 1) Open Internet Settings for Internet Explorer. 2) Go to the Security tab, select Trusted sites, and click the Sites button.

12 Attachment 1 3) In the pop-up box, please type then click Add. *** Make sure that the site is added to Trusted sites. 4) Once settings are complete, please close all the properties pop-ups of Internet Settings. ***If Internet Explorer is up and running, please close ALL instances of the program before using Isuzu CSS-Net World Wide Manual.

Using Isuzu CSS-Net World Wide Manual for the first time. 1) Double-click on the desktop icon. *** Make sure you always start the application from this icon. 2) Login from the Isuzu CSS-Net World Wide Manual login page. If it is the first time, the ActiveX prompt might appear, in which case please select Run Add-on to enable the control for the Isuzu CSS-Net World Wide Manual. 3) When the following prompt shows, press Run.

14 Attachment 1 III. Setting Compatibility View After logging in, click the icon on the IE address bar. *Depending on the IE version, the compatibility view setting may be in Tools. All steps to enable you to use Isuzu CSS-Net World Wide Manual are now completed.

17 Installation procedure 1. Security settings for Internet Explorer (1) Launch Internet Explorer, and select [Tools] => [Internet options] from the Toolbar. Attachment 2 (2) Click [Security] => [Trusted sites] => [Sites] in the Internet options window

18 Attachment 2 (3) Enter in the Add this website to the zone column, and click [Add]. (4) Click [Close]

19 (5) Click [Custom level...] in the Internet Options window. Attachment 2 (6) Check [Enable] under Initialize and script ActiveX controls not marked as safe for scripting in the Security Settings window, and click [OK]

21 2. Firefox installation Attachment 2 (1) Search for Firefox ESR using a search engine, and display the download website for Firefox ESR. (2) Click the Download Mozilla Firefox ESR box

22 Attachment 2 (3) Select the Download button for the version you want to download. When the Do you want to run or save... message is displayed, click [Run]. (4) When the window below is displayed, click [Next]

23 (5) Check [Standard], and click [Next]. Attachment 2 (6) Uncheck the Use Firefox as my default web browser box, and click [Install]. * If Firefox is selected as the default web browser, CSS-Net may not operate properly. It is necessary to keep Internet Explorer as the default web browser to ensure operation

24 (7) When the following window is displayed, click [Finish]. Attachment 2 (8) When the following window is displayed, check [Don t import anything] and click [Next]

26 Attachment 2 Troubleshooting 1. When Firefox was mistakenly selected as the default web browser If you selected Firefox as the default web browser by mistake, change the default web browser to Internet Explorer using the following procedure. (1) Launch Internet Explorer, and select [Tools] => [Internet options] from the Toolbar. (2) Select [Programs] in the Internet options window, and click [Make default] under Default web browser

27 Manuals viewer (except ESI version). Below please find a description of two types of changes. 1. Icons have been changed. Current format Attachment 3 New format Description of the display contents will be added to the help menu at a later date. 2. Zoom changes - scaling maintained. If the scale of the Manual is changed using the ZOOM IN / ZOOM OUT buttons, the scale will be maintained for other pages.

28 Changes to ESI format. (The format for the soon-to-be-released ESI has been changed.) The main changes are displayed below. 1.Type of browser opened when clicking on table of contents items has been changed. Attachment 4 2. Initial screen has been changed.
