5 Lestream Clud Desktps Release Ntes Lestream Clud Desktps 3.1 (April 4, 2013) The fllwing features were added t Lestream Clud Desktps in versin 3.1 The Desktp Cmpsitin ptin can nw be enabled fr the RDP and HTML5 viewer. T use the Desktp Cmpsitin ptin, yu must install the Desktp Experience pack n the Windws Server 2008 Operating System. New clud desktps can be created in specific Availability Znes, making it easier t ensure that purchased Reserved Instances are utilized fr the clud desktp. Desktps that are manually started r stpped utside f the bunds f their Pwer Plan are n lnger autmatically stpped r started. File servers are nw supprted when running clud desktps in the custmer s AWS accunt. A gateway fr HTML5 RDP cnnectins is nw available in the Sydney AWS regin. Lgging ut f an HTML5 RDP sessin nw returns the user t the Desktps tab in the Lestream Clud Desktps Web interface. Lestream Clud Desktps 3.0 (March 11, 2013) The fllwing features were added t Lestream Clud Desktps in versin 3.0 All Lestream Clud Desktps accunts nw must be linked t the custmer s AWS accunt. Lestream n lnger hsts clud desktps in the Lestream AWS accunt. With this change, Lestream nw charges a flat management fee f $10 per desktp, regardless f the desktp s perfrmance level r disk size. Desktp usage fee is due directly t Amazn. Existing accunts may cntinue t use the Lestream AWS accunt during the transitin perid. Please, cntact help@lestream.cm fr mre infrmatin. The elapsed idle time befre pwer dwn can nw be specified n an accunt-wide level. Previusly, the idle-time was hard-cded t tw hurs. New pwer plans can be used t schedule start and stp times fr desktps. RDP and HTML5 parameters fr lcal resurce redirectin, such as drives and printers, can nw be turned n and ff at the accunt level. New Lestream images are nw available. These images n lnger cntain the OpenOffice prductivity suite. 5

6 Lestream Clud Desktps Lestream Clud Desktps 2.5 (February 15, 2013) The fllwing features were added t Lestream Clud Desktps in versin 2.5. The Lestream Clud Cntrller can nw be used t manage clud desktps hsted in a clud based n CludStack. Cntact help@lestream.cm fr mre infrmatin n integrating the Lestream management platfrm int yur clud. Additinal hard disk space is nw available fr all clud desktps. Hard disk space can be added in increments f 10GB fr $3 a mnth. Nn-administratr users can nw be prhibited frm accessing the Edit Desktp page, and therefre frm changing their clud desktp prperties. Users can nw lg int their desktp using a Standard User accunt as well as using the desktp Administratr accunt. Master images are nw available in the Sydney Amazn regin. Lestream Clud Desktps 2.1 The fllwing features were added t Lestream Clud Desktps in versin 2.1. The Accunt tab is n lnger accessible t all accunt administratrs. Only the accunt wner, the address used t create the accunt, has access t the Accunt tab. Accunt administratrs can nw be given permissin t reset end-user passwrds.
