4 1. Introduction 1.1. Purpose of the document The document describes the differences of the CLS licensing process between this product (feature) and the standard process of OpenScape License Management (see document License Guidelines). 2. Product Information 2.1. General a) Quantity of feature DLS V6 Basic User has to be greater or equal the quantity of feature DLS V6 Mobile User. b) Quantity of feature DLS V6 Basic User has to be greater or equal the quantity of feature DLS V6 Location Support for 1 User. c) Quantity of feature DLS V6 Basic User has to be greater or equal the quantity of feature DLS V6 PKI User. d) The upgrade is only possible via the Generate License Key menu item. The reason for this is that during the upgrade the features DLS V6 Base System and DLS V6 Basic User have to be added to the upgrade result to meet the product rules. e) Every DLS V6 Base System and DLS V6 Mobile User Product Instance for SL license key contains 5 licenses for the Java Husim Phonetester. f) License keys for feature DLS V6 Mobile User Product Instance for SL are time limited although the CLS shows them as permanent. All licenses will expire with January 31 st of the following year except when generated after November 30 th. In this case the expiration is extended by one additional year. For those licenses that belong to a valid contract the license keys will be deleted with November 30 th. If using the DLS V6 Mobile User Product Instance for SL no other feature is allowed. 4. Add-On Licensing Nothing special 5. Rehost Please use the Rehost workflow to change values of additional input fields, e.g. a Standby Server Locking ID. Search for the main Locking ID of the system and perform a Rehost. Re-enter the former main Locking ID and change the value of the field you want to modify, e.g. enter a new Standby Server Locking ID. 5

6 Please note that it is not possible to search for systems using a Standby Server Locking ID or an additional input value. We recommend to search using: - Locking ID (only the main Locking ID if the product supports Standby Server.) - System ID (if applicable) - Alias Name 6. Shift Partial shift is not possible. 7. License Transfer Nothing special 8. Upgrade 8.1. HiPath DLS V2 OpenScape DLS V6 It is possible to upgrade from HiPath Deployment Service V2. Only the whole system can be upgraded. The MAC Address cannot be changed during the upgrade process. To perform the upgrade, please use the menu item Generate License Key. You will have to extend the upgrade result with additional features that need to be ordered (see upgrade validation table below).
