1 This Desktop Procedure demonstrates the steps for creating an Issue Worklist and an Activity Worklist in QIM, viewing the Worklist in the QIM Worklists screen, and exporting the Worklist to an Excel document. Note: New Worklists are saved to your specific user ID and can only be viewed by your specific user ID. 1. Click the Worklists tab in the QIM Navigation Pane to bring up the Worklists screen. Note: You can click the black arrow in the upper righthand corner to close and reopen the Navigation Pane. 2. Click the New Worklist button. Filename: qim-dp-27-create, view, export worklist (issues and activities) Page 1 of 14
2 3. Enter Issues Quality Issue in the Select Existing Query as Template field using the drop down arrow. 4. Click Next. Note: The following steps will instruct the user on how to create a worklist for Issues with an Issue Status=New. Any of the selections in the New Worklist criteria selection screen can be used to create/filter worklists. 5. Enter Issue Status using the drop down icon. 6. Select New. Filename: qim-dp-27-create, view, export worklist (issues and activities) Page 2 of 14
3 7. Scroll down and enter the Maximum No. of Hits per Object Category/System Combination you want to see in the Worklist screen. Note: This field is used to bring in a limited amount of issue or activities into the Worklist. 8. Click Next. 9. Enter the Query Description field. Note: This will be the name of the newly created Worklist. 10. Leave the Activate Query box checked. 11. Select Issues in the Select Category using the drop down arrow. 12. 4 13. Review that the Worklist was created. 14. Select the Worklist you selected above to view the filtered data results. To view the information as an Excel spreadsheet, see Appendix 1 below. 5 2. Enter Generic Quality Activities in the Select Object Type field using the drop down arrow. 3. Enter Activities Quality Activity in the Select Existing Query as Template field using the drop down arrow. 4. Click Next. 6 Note: The following steps will instruct the user on how to create a worklist for Activities with an Issue Status=New. Any of the selections in the New Worklist criteria selection screen can be used to create/filter worklists. 5. Click the drop down icon in the Activity Status field. 6. Click New. 7. Click Next. 7 8. Enter the Query Description field and enter the name of your newly created worklist. 9. Leave the Activate Query box checked. 10. Select Activities in the Select Category field using the drop down arrow. 11. Click Finish and the new Worklist will be created and active. 12. Review that the Worklist was created. 13. Select the Worklist you selected above to view the filtered data results. To view the information as an Excel spreadsheet, see Appendix 1 below. 8 APPENDIX 1: How to export worklist results to Excel Note: Exporting to Excel can give you a better look at your Worklist but is not required. 18. Click Export. 19.
