Internet Branching (IB) Enhanced CAMS-ii autmatic distributins s that they appear n the Internet Branching (IB) site fr members as they appear n CAMS-ii at the credit unin. Enhanced IB s that users' scheduled transfers cnfigured at the IB site appear in CAMS-ii s CU staff can easily see what member has cnfigured. Enhanced IB s that when a change cmes t CAMS-ii fr the SMS text number frm the IB site, it replaces the member's cell phne number in the Persnal Data Recrd. This number is used fr ealerts, nt fr Text Banking. The ealert feature allws nly ne cell phne number. At this time, IB des nt update CAMS-ii with any numbers used fr text banking. Lans Enhanced the Cllectins mdule, s that it nw-- Allws fr cllectin recrds t be permanent; hwever, the system treats current lans as nt active in cllectins fr the purpse f tracking in Cllectins and identifying them n Member Balances. Includes the retentin f Legal, Repssessin, Bankruptcy, and Judgement infrmatin. Prvides an additinal filter fr wrking the cllectin queue t bypass items wrked in x number f days Prvides sme additinal infrmatin n the Detail Cllectin screen. 4 General Ledger Enhanced General Jurnal such that when yu make a general jurnal entry, a clr indicatr at the bttm f the screen lets yu knw that the G/L is in- r ut-f-balance withut returning t the tp f the screen. Reprts The fllwing items explain new standard reprts r changes t standard reprts, nt fr ad hc/userdevelped reprts created by CAMS-ii Data Miner. The ACH Psting reprt nw includes escrw depsits fr any applicable mrtgage lan, and it als nw includes the amunt f interest that has been applied fr each lan payment. Fr each mrtgage lan that has an assciated escrw accunt, the ACH Psting prgram applies the funds against the escrw accunt--if an escrw payment is due--and then applies any remaining funds against the interest due, and then the principal balance f the lan. The Lan Data reprt nw prints escrw and cllateral infrmatin fr all mrtgage lans. This features requires that yu are licensed fr CAMS-ii mrtgage lans sftware fr the Lan Data reprt (prgram) t print any escrw and cllateral infrmatin. When the Lan Data reprt (prgram) executed via the batch prcessing system, the prgram autmatically prints the escrw and cllateral infrmatin. When the Lan Data reprt (prgram) is executed via the n-demand CAMS-ii reprt system meaning that the reprt is requested by the user and nt using the batch prcessing system the prgram prints the escrw and cllateral infrmatin nly if the user has requested All Lans. Fr example, if yu select a beginning and ending range f accunt numbers that des nt include all lans, the prgram will nt print the escrw and cllateral infrmatin. 5 Miscellaneus Back Office Added the fllwing updates t IRS Frms: 1099-R (IRA distributins): Added a new distributin cde f D - Annuity Payments - sectin This wrding will be n a withdrawal buttn when ding withdrawals. Yu'll als see it n the inquiry/maintenance pages f IRA accunts and n tax maintenance pages MISC (miscellaneus incme) Added the fllwing: New amunt cde '9' fr tape files. A new field, Freign Tax Paid, is an ptin n the vendr and expense check screens. This field als carries ver t the tax frm maintenance screens. Changed the Cntrl-Drafts parameter, ODP Number f Days, t Draft Accunt Age (Days) fr ODP Activatin. This parameter cntrls the autmatic activatin f Overdraft Privilege (ODP) n a share draft accunt. This parameter is still used t gvern hw many days (batch prcessing sessins) must ccur frm the date the share draft accunt is pened befre the CAMS-ii system autmatically activates ODP fr the share draft accunt, assuming that the share draft accunt meets all qualificatin requirements. A 999 setting fr this parameter still indicates that this feature is nt activated. Added a new Cntrl-Drafts parameter, Member Age fr ODP Activatin. This parameter cntrls hw ld (member age) the member must be fr the CAMS-ii system t autmatically activate ODP fr the share draft accunt, assuming that the share draft accunt meets all qualificatin requirements A setting fr this parameter indicates that this feature is nt activated. 6 Teller/Member Services Changed the Dep/Seg Cde drp-dwn list in the Persnal Data Recrd t default t N Value Selected with n spaces instead f a 0 if n ther ptin is selected. (# 47602) When a member s accunt is clsed meaning that the 99 accunt is clsed the system purges all payrlls and distributins assciated with the base number. The remvals are tracked n the Exceptin Reprt. Enhanced Member Statement s the Average Daily Balance and the dividends earned nw appear, even if the balance is zer, and ended the use f the Mem Summary fr the 99 sub-accunt. (# 44433) The Mney Order designatin assigned at Multiple Transactins Check Out nw appears n Member Histry. (# 47428) Added a Fllw-up date range filter and an Exprt buttn n Ntebk Jurnal. Fixed The system allwed the escrw accunt t g negative when making payments (checks t Insurance, tax, etc.), verdrawing the accunts. Fixed Teller name des nt appear under Ntebk entry. The Teller number is in the mailbx, but the teller s name des nt appear. Fixed When filtering credit reprts at the creditunin level by SSN, the system des nt refresh the screen when yu try t view a different member s credit reprt via Lans >Lan Prcessing > Credit Reprts > Current Reprts. Fixed Prcessed an ACH item with an entry cde f GL DR, versus Demand Debit. The credit unin des nt autmatically pst t GL with ACH. The item did nt appear as an ACH exceptin, never psted t member accunt, but the system debited the credit unin's crprate accunt, creating an ut-f-balance situatin. Fixed The system did nt take the escrw amunt when the ACH psted. The member sent the full lan amunt plus the escrw via ACH, but the system psted it all t the lan with nthing psted t the escrw accunt. Fixed On IB, the Last Transactin Date fr a manually renewed CD appears updates with the crrect date. The Last Transactin Date n an autmatically renewed CD, hwever, des nt update n IB. 8 Updates, Crrectins, and Hints We have fine-tuned and crrected a few situatins that were intrduced int the CAMS-ii Check Recnciliatin system in CAMS-ii Release The Check Recnciliatin reprt (prgram) autmatically executes via the daily batch prcessing cycle, nt nly during the mnth-end batch prcessing, as stated in the CAMS-ii versin Release Ntice, but it always runs in the daily batch prcessing. This prgram prcesses autmatically. Nw, any cleared check that is mre than 90 days ld is autmatically remved/purged frm the Checks file. The prgram calculates the 90 days frm the date that the check was riginally cleared instead f using the date that the check was riginally prduced. The Check Recnciliatin reprt nw cntains as it always has a line item t shw the infrmatin cncerning a check that is abut t be remved/purged. As riginally stated in the CAMS-ii versin Release Ntice, any vided check that is mre than 365 days ld is autmatically remved/purged frm the Checks file. This prgram calculates the 365 days frm the date that the check was riginally vided instead f using the date that the check was riginally prduced. The Check Recnciliatin reprt nw cntains as it always has a line item t shw the infrmatin cncerning a check that is abut t be remved/purged. Change List This list cntains the changes frm previusly released draft dated 12/16/2013 and psted n the CBS Message Center fr this release, Release Release Nte Sectin Internet Branching Original Wrding IMPORTANT: The system allws fr multiple SMS numbers at the IB site. This causes the cell number t update with the last SMS number added. This ensures that the credit unin has an up-t-date number. Change/Status Deleted General Ledger Enhanced General Jurnal such that when yu a clr indicatr at the bttm f the screen that lets yu knw that the G/L is inr ut-f-balance withut returning t the tp f the screen.
