2 Multi-modal Off-line Biosignal Analysis under MATLAB Highlights intuitive Windows instruments for EEG, EOG, EMG, ECG data analysis and documentation under MATLAB powerful 2-D and 3-D visualization tools to rapidly generate publication ready figures enhancement of power with application-specific g.tec or MATLAB toolboxes or addition of your own M-files can be combined with g.daqsys for off-line data analysis of the recorded da ta g.rtsys for real-time parameter estimation g.hreeg for EEG source localization g.rtanalyse blockset for real-time parameter estimation and classification party data formats. The toolbox has modules for managing header information such as amplifier- and montage settings and includes information such as session, paradigm, company and subject. External and internal markers allow to trigger the data on special events. Trial and channel attributes can be assigned to sort, include or exclude artifacts, specific classes or channels. Pre-processing modules enable spatial filtering, smoothing and re-sampling of data before a (semi-)automatic treat- ment of artifacts is performed. The analyze menu offers functions for data quality control, coherence, correlation, bandpower analysis, ERD/ERS and many more. g.bsanalyze offers absolute control over your acquired biosignal data. After acquiring data with g.daqsys, g.rtsys or any other custom system g.bsanalyze can be used for inspecting the raw data. g.bsanalyze supports different 3rd Package includes Software modules Technical requirement MATLAB, Signal Processing Toolbox any other toolbox suitable for your research (neural networks, wavelets, optimization,...) These parameters can be used as inputs to the classification methods. A key advantage of g.bsanalyze is that M-files can easily be added for parameter estimation and classification. Data can be pre-processed with the integrated modules, analyzed with your newly designed M-files and classified with the standard algorithms. This speeds up scientific work significantly and the focus can be put on core problems. All results are stored in MATLAB format and are accessible from any other program. The powerful visualization modules for 2D- and 3Dpresentation allow to design publication ready plots and to print the results. [ 3 ]
