Pan Tension Lever Handle Vary the handle angle to your preferred position. Release the lever, adjust, then tighten to lock the position.

3 BASIC ADJUSTMENTS Adjusting the Micro-Fluid Head The Skyline s micro-fluid head provides fine control with precise, smooth action. The quick-release plate slides forward or backward as needed for best balance. Handle Angle Position Lever Tilt Tension Lever Turn the handle to preferred angle. Pan Tension Lever Handle Vary the handle angle to your preferred position. Release the lever, adjust, then tighten to lock the position. Pan and Tilt Action You can choose to keep the action fluid or lock the horizontal and vertical positions in place. Release the lever, adjust, then tighten to lock position. Attaching Optics to the Tripod 1. Loosen the plate tension knob, push the safety catch up, and slide the quick-release plate out of the holder. 2. Attach the plate to your optic or camera. If your optic has a registration hole, align it with the registration pin. Tighten the tripod mount bolt from the bottom side of the plate. Tighten the plate tension knob to secure the quickrelease plate in the holder. 4. If desired, use the bubble level to ensure the plate is level. Safety Pin Bubble Level Caution To prevent unnecessary damage to your optics, take a few seconds to remove your optic from the tripod before you move to a new location. Spotting scopes and other optics may become damaged if carried while attached to the tripod. The quick-release plate makes this easy and quick! TIP: Purchase additional quick-release plates for your optics so it is easy for you to switch equipment

Leg Angle You can set each leg to one of three angles. Slide the release tab to the right and pivot the leg outward to the desired angle. Flip lever to lock/unlock.

4 Adjusting the Tripod Legs The Skyline legs are sturdy and easy to adjust. The padded upper sections provide a comfortable grip and carry. Leg Length Each tripod leg extends to a maximum of three sections. Flip the leg lever lock up and slide the leg section out to the desired length. Flip leg lever lock back down to lock. Leg Angle You can set each leg to one of three angles. Slide the release tab to the right and pivot the leg outward to the desired angle. Flip lever to lock/unlock.
