5 Workaround Workaround by software Errata Document MB91520 Series Waveform generator Workaround 1 Write "0" to corresponding bits in the port function register "PFRxx (xx = 00 to 19)"in order to enable as an I/O port. Waveform generator is now outputting Write the key codes to corresponding bits in KEYCDR Write 0 to corresponding bits in PFRxx I/O port function enabled Workaround 2 Stop outputting of the waveform generator by switching to the compare output for a 16-bit output compare (16-bit OCU). Waveform generator is now outputting Stop each 16-bit OCU - Write 0 to OCSxy_CSTO0,1 (xy = 01, 23, 45) Set initial output level of each 16-bit OCU -Write 0/1 to OCSxy_OTD0,1 (xy = 01, 23, 45) Change output of the 16-bit OCU -Write 0x00 to DTSCR0, 1, 2 February 19, 2018 Document No Rev. *B 4
6 Errata Document MB91520 Series D/A converter When the output pin of the D/A converter is used as the I/O port, write "0" to corresponding bits in the port function register "PFRxx (xx = 00 to 19)". D/A converter is now outputting Write the key codes to corresponding bits in KEYCDR Write 0 to corresponding bits in PFRxx General-purpose port function enabled Corrective action by Cypress Cypress will revise the Waveform generator and D/A converter of the affected devices. The part numbers will be changed from MB91F52xxxB to MB91F52xxxC. Details of the revisions are as follows: Waveform generator: Revision will be made so that the output pin of the waveform generator can function as an I/O port after the output is disabled by the use of the "DTTI" function. D/A converter: Revision will be made so that the output pin can perform the following functions: -The output pin functions as an I/O port after the output is disabled by the setting of the D/A control register "DACR". -The output pin functions as an I/O port when the D/A converter is stopped due to the switching to stop mode or watch mode.
