2 OrthoFlow Server Prerequisites 2 Before you begin installation, please verify that all prerequisite software components are installed and that the minimum hardware requirements are met, as described below. It is assumed that the user is familiar with basic Windows 2003 server administration. Windows 2003 Server standard edition (English only) Windows 2003 SP2 MS Internet Information Services (IIS) 6 MS windows update (all patches & hot fixes available at Microsoft windows update). Microsoft ASP.NET Microsoft.NET Framework v3.5 IE version 6 Service Pack 1 (or above) I386 directory from the installation CD should be placed on the server s HD VCN, PCanywhere or MS Terminal (recommended for remote diagnostics) To install OrthoFlow server, you must be logged-on as a user with administrative privileges. If OrthoFlow server application should run on SSL, please install the SSL certificate prior to OrthoFlow server installation Server and Network Requirements Fixed IP address and hostname At least two processors of o Intel Xeon (3.0GHz) o Dual-Core AMD Opteron (2.8Ghz) 2-4GB RAM Hard Drive (OS in mirror): o Up to 500 MB for the software o Up to 100 MB for logs Permanent connection to the PACS server (for searching studies on the server) 1024x768 screen resolution

3 3 OrthoFlow Client Prerequisites Before you begin installation, please verify that all prerequisite software components are installed and that the minimum hardware requirements are met, as described below. It is assumed that the user is familiar with basic Windows XP administration. Windows XP professional 32 bit (English only) Windows XP Professional SP2 (English only) MS windows update (all patches & hot fixes available at Microsoft windows update). Microsoft.NET Framework v3.5 IE version 6 Service Pack 1 (or above) I386 directory from the installation CD should be placed on the server s HD VCN, PCanywhere or MS Terminal (recommended for remote diagnostics) PACS Viewer To install OrthoFlow Workstation, you must be logged-on as a user with administrative privileges. Workstation and Network Requirements Minimum Workstation Requirements: Fixed hostname Pentium 4 (2.4 GHz) 512 MB RAM Hard Drive: o Up to 500 MB for the software o Up to 75 MB for logs Network connection to OrthoFlow server and PACS server Screen resolution according to PACS viewer requirements Recommended Workstation Requirements: Pentium 4 or Xeon (3 GHz or faster) MB RAM

4 4 OrthoFlow Server Installation procedure 1. Download the following components for installation: 1.1. MSSQL2005 EXPRESS (you may download the installer from: MSSQL Server Management tools (you may download the installer from: 2. Request the latest release of OrthoFlow server installer from Orthocrat s Global Support Center at Support@TraumaCad.com 3. Make sure Microsoft.NET Framework 3.5 is installed. If not, install it (you may download it from: 4. Install Microsoft MSSQL 2005 EXPRESS (during setup please enable Mix-Mode authentication.) 4.1. In the Authentication Mode step during the SQL EXPRESS installation, please select the Mixed Mode authentication mode (as shown below) and set a password as you see fit. (This is only to enable SQL to accept non default windows authentication users, such as the OrthoFlow user.)

5 5 5. Install MSSQL Server Management tools (use only default configuration). 6. Open SQL Server 2005 Surface Area Configuration tool. (Using the Start menu > Programs > Microsoft SQL Server 2005 > Configuration tools > SQL Server Surface Area Configuration.) 7. Click on Surface Area Configuration for Services and Connections. Surface Area Configuration for Services and Connections screen

6 6 8. On the left panel, expand the SQL Server Browser and click on the Service hyperlink. On the main window, change the Startup Type to Automatic. Click on Apply and then start the service by clicking on the Start button. Selecting the Service hyperlink and then the drop down menu to Automatic 9. Select the SQLEXPRESS-> Database Engine-> Remote Connections hyperlink and choose Local and Remote connections with Using both TCP\IP and named pipes. Click on Apply. A message will popup, indicating that the database service should be restarted in order for the configuration to be enabled. To do so, click on the Service Hyperlink under the Database Engine and click on Stop. Wait for the service to stop and then click on Start and wait for the service to start. Click on the OK button and then close the Surface Area configuration tool.

7 7 10. Start the OrthoFlow server installation using the OrthoFlow Server Setup file and follow the below: Click on Next to start the installation process Accept the license agreement and click on Next

8 Select the PATH for the OrthoFlow server application files and Logs. (You may change the Path by clicking on the Change button next to each one of the elements.) Continue with the defaults at the Database Server screen. (Installation of OrthoFlow Database on OrthoFlow server and using Windows Authentication for DB access).

On the Web site configuration for OrthoFlow server, you may use: Default web site (if it is NOT used already by another web application) In this case simply click Next and continue with the installation wizard. (If you wish to use SSL for the web interface or if an existing SSL certificate has been installed in IIS check the Use SSL check-box and click Next. If you do NOT have the SSL certificate installed on IIS, cancel the installation, install the SSL certificate and then start the installation all over again.) Non default web site (dedicated web site for OrthoFlow) In this case, remove the checkbox from the Default web site. (If you wish to use SSL for the web interface or if an existing SSL certificate has been installed in IIS, check the Use SSL checkbox and click Next. If you do NOT have the SSL certificate installed on IIS, cancel the installation, install the SSL certificate and then start the installation all over again.) Click Next Change the TCP port for IIS to use for communication between OrthoFlow server and its agents (it is recommended to leave the defaults) and click Next.

10 Click on Install and allow the installer to finish the installation Click on Finish to conclude the installation and move forward to licensing. (Upon clicking Finish, the licensing page will be displayed, follow the OrthoFlow server licensing procedure below.)

11 11 OrthoFlow Server Licensing procedure 1. Request an activation key (if you haven t done so already or if your activation key hasn t been supplied to you following your requisition) from License.Request@TraumaCad.com and state the Site name or PO # for this acquisition. 2. Make sure your server is connected online and has access to: 3. Type the Activation key in the Activation Key text area and click on the Activate Online button. 4. Fill in your details in the Registration form (optional). 5. Once the activation is done, OrthoFlow Control Panel will be opened. Continue to the OrthoFlow Configuration procedure.

12 OrthoFlow Server Configuration Procedure OrthoFlow server Control Panel can be accessed from the Server s Desktop (using the OrthoFlow ControlPanel shortcut). In order to start the configuration, please have the following ready ahead of time: PACS viewer settings: Argument Set name: a general Name for your Viewer settings, can be the name of your PACS vendor as well PACS Name: you can select from a pre-defined list (currently isite, PACS-IW, Synapse and NovaRad) or create a new setting PACS Version: your PACS Version (we recommend to select from the pre-defined list) Dicom Query Settings: Sites: Remote AE Title: the PACS AE title for Query \ Retrieve (C-FIND \ C-MOVE) PACS Node: your PACS IP address PACS Port: OrthoFlow AE Title your OrthoFlow server AE title (should be configured on the PACS to support QR) PACS Type: should be DICOM unless the integration is with PACS-IW and in this case, you should select PACS-IW User Name: please leave blank Password: please leave blank Search Option: Leave with the default (Contains) You can divide OrthoFlow configuration to sites. You can determine that each floor at a facility is a site and create in this site the rooms that this floor contains. Or you can alternatively decide that each facility (in a multi facility environment) is a site on its own and has its specific rooms. We recommend RENAMING the default site (Site on <SERVERNAME>) to the first site in your configuration. OrthoFlow Agents: Identify the workstations that will run OrthoFlow agent and collect the following parameters on each one of them: Hostname IP address Display Name: the name for the workstation on the OrthoFlow Cockpit. It should be knowledgeable for the administrator, e.g. ExamRoom1/<LOCATION><Room><#> Site name for the workstation: this parameter will show the room in its site by default. List of providers: (Doctor s, PA s) Please include the following details: o First, last name o Title (Dr. \ PA \ Nurse \ Prof. \ etc) o o 12 address HID badge number (Download the utility from and swipe the card on the reader while the utility is running)

13 13 PACS Viewer Settings Configuration Click on the Add New Set button to create the PACS viewer settings. Fill in the following details in the newly created PACS viewer settings and click on Save Set. Argument Set Name: a free text area in which you can place your own name for this entry PACS Name: a selection between isite, PACS-IW, Synapse and Novarad is preconfigured. You may also create a NEW entry as you see fit (not recommended) PACS Version: a pre-defined list of versions according to the PACS brand

14 14 For each PACS viewer, you should configure the properties as listed below using the icon: Philips - isite isyntaxserverip: isite isyntax server IP address isyntaxserverport: isite isyntax Server Port ImageSuiteURL: URL path to the image Suite ImageSuiteDSN: The default setting is isite. Check with your PACS administrator if this is true for your environment. Username: a generic username to be used when opening images in OrthoFlow Agents in the rooms Password: the password for the above user AuthSource: PACS administrator should provide this data Organization: In 99% of the cases it is empty, unless your PACS administrator has indicated differently. GE - PACS-IW UserName: A username for the Agent ROOM to use Password: the password for the above username URLCall: the PACS IP address DIViewerEXEPath: the path to the IW viewer (use the default)

15 15 Fuji - Synapse URLCall: The PATH to Synapse All Studies folder. Replace the SYNAPSE-SERVER with the Synapse server IP address or FQDN Domain: the domain name for the Synapse server UserName: a generic user that will open Synapse Client (and the images) in the rooms Password: a password for the above username Novarad - NovaPACS URLCall: the URL path to the SERVERNAME/Novaweb/lite/login.aspx server (you may use IP address or FQDN instead of the SERVERNAME) UserName: A username for the Agent ROOM to use when opening NovaPACS viewer Password: a password to match the above username IndirectUserName: A user for the Novarad PACS logging feature (The user in this field will be used in the PACS logs for any DICOM communication between the PACS and OrthoFlow.)

16 16 Cerner - ProVision ServerAddress: the URL path to the SERVERNAME/Viewer/ViewerByStudyInsUid.cgi (you may use IP address or FQDN instead of the server name) UserName: A username for the Agent ROOM to use when opening Cerner viewer Password: a password to match the above username DICOM Query Settings Details to fill: The above screenshot has been taken AFTER the Add New Settings button has been clicked Remote AE Title: the PACS AE title for Query \ Retrieve (C-FIND \ C-MOVE) PACS Node: your PACS IP address PACS Port: the port on which your PACS is listening for QR OrthoFlow AE Title: your OrthoFlow server AE title (should be configured on the PACS to support QR) PACS Type: should be DICOM unless the integration is with PACS-IW and in this case, you should select PACS-IW User Name: please leave blank Password - please leave blank Search Option: Leave with the default (Contains)

17 17 Sites and Agents Settings The purpose of Sites is to enable the system administrator to divide the OrthoFlow configuration into smaller manageable segments. A Site is considered to be a floor at one facility or a building in multi site configuration. Each site can hold several exam rooms and can be managed from several workstations. The configuration for each site is: Locations associated with the site (SITE_NAME) The FQDN names or IP addresses in this section will be able to open the Cockpit and assign studies to rooms/providers that are associated to the site. (When the PCs from this list will open the Cockpit, they will receive this site as the default one and will be able to change if needed.) Select rooms for the site (SITE_NAME) The exam rooms on which OrthoFlow agent will be installed. Rooms in this section will be assigned by this site s administrator.

18 18 Worklist Settings The purpose of the Worklist Settings page is to enable the system administrator to configure the referring physicians in the OrthoFlow environment. For each configured user, the system administrator or Cockpit operator will be able to configure a special view according to the user's needs. The configuration for each provider is as follows: Title: the user's official title (Can be Mr. / Mrs. / Dr. / Prof. / etc.) Name: the user s full name (as it will appear in the Cockpit) PACS query name: The user that will be used to Query the PACS system for results OrthoWeb User: In case the user has an OrthoWeb account, by filling these details (when swiping the card on a workstation) the user will have the option to upload an image to OrthoWeb (to his personal account). OrthoWeb Password: the user s OrthoWeb password Create OrthoWeb User: for future use PACS user name: the user s personal PACS username PACS Password: the user s personal PACS password HID Card ID: this is the location to place the user s personal badge number to enable the system to open OrthoFlow agent once the user swipes his badge in an exam room.

19 19 Agent Local Settings Added in Version The Agent Local Settings tab will enable the system administrator to setup specific variables for all of the agents in a centralized location as described below: CheckForUpdateTimer: Intervals between checking for new OrthoFlow Agent version on the server. If a new version is available, the agent will automatically update itself. OrthoFlowServerUrlBase: The OrthoFlow server communication URL. The agent will use this URL for communication with OrthoFlow server. TimeOutToLockAgent: Interval for OrthoFlow agent to HIPPA lock the PC. Agent will only lock the PC in case there is no user interaction with the PC. TimeOutToClearImages: Interval until the patient images sent to the rooms will be removed by OrthoFlow agent to avoid session timeout of the PACS viewer. DualMonitor: This flag indicates if the OrthoFlow agent will lock all monitors (if more than one is applicable) or not. If not, the agent will lock only the main monitor. ShowHideApps: Key stroke that enable the user to display the images currently displayed in the PACS viewer without using his HID card. MinMaxApps: Key stroke that enable the user to minimize OrthoFlow agent to system tray in case he wishes to use the PC for other purposes. RefreshViewer: Key stroke that enable the user the refresh the images currently displayed in the PACS viewer (the images will be reopen in the viewer). DisplayPlugin: This flag indicates if the OrthoFlow agent plug-in is displayed. The plug-in enables the user to view his list of cases from OrthoFlow server, to upload the displayed images to his OrthoWeb account or to load the image in TraumaCad. PluginOpenInTraumaCad: This flag indicates if the open image in TraumaCad option will be available in OrthoFlow agent plug-in. PluginShowMyCases: This flag indicates if the Show My Cases option will be available in OrthoFlow agent plug-in. HIDCardAutentication: This flag indicates if the user is forced to authenticate himself using his HID card or not. TCPServerHost: not applicable (this information is taken from the OS this is a read only field) TCPServerPort: not applicable (this information is taken from OrthoFlow Configuration this is a read only field)

20 20 How to Define OrthoFlow Plug-in isite Enterprise 1. Login to isite enterprise using a user with sufficient permissions to define plug-in. 2. Open isite Preferences 3. Navigate to: Machine preferences Plug Ins

21 4. Click on Add and fill in the plug-in details according to your OrthoFlow server configuration (Server IP and Port).
