This leading PTZ dome system is an ideal product for the changing environment that is today s security industry. Infinova s standard PTZ domes are available as 18X12, 22X12, 23X12, 26X12 and 35X12 optical/ digital zoom, ensuring their ability to find the right camera for their project. Digital Signal Processing technology provides enhanced clarity, color and detail, with the day/night camera; usable images can be delivered even in extremely low light conditions. Separate definable privacy zones can be set by administrators to prevent users from viewing restricted areas. The PTZ dome s direction indicators; which can be displayed on the monitor, denote the direction in which it is moving. The internal multi-protocol receiver allows these domes to be compatible with control site equipment from Infinova, such as the V2109 and V2117 keyboards, and Infinova matrix switchers; as well as equipment from 3rd party manufacturers. Infinova Domes feature built-in memory to store camera and dome settings, including labels, presets, patterns, and zones. These settings are automatically downloaded if a new dome drive is installed. The PTZ dome s Home Position feature allows users to establish a default view or pattern for the PTZ dome when it is not being controlled. The digital slow shutter (D.S.S.) allows a long exposure time of 1/2 second, providing a higher sensitivity and minimum illumination of only 0.03 lux (color, 1/2 s). Color data is captured and stored by the PTZ dome, allowing a user to see things that are typically not visible when using a standard color video camera. Infinova s variable speed capabilities range from a smooth, fast pan motion of 240 (200 for 35X) per second to a low speed of 1.0 (0.5 for 35X) per second. The system is capable of 360 rotation and has an auto flip feature that allows the camera to rotate 180 and reposition itself for uninterrupted viewing of any subject that passes directly beneath the PTZ dome. 5 Architectural & Engineering Specification 1.0 Description The high-speed programmable PTZ dome camera shall be Infinova s V1740 series outdoor PTZ dome camera or equivalent. The V1740 series cameras shall be an outdoor use PTZ dome camera with full-range variable speed PTZ, a multi-protocol receiver driver and an advanced DSP CCD camera. 2.0 General Requirements 1. The following zoom ratios shall be available: 18x12, 22x12, 23x12, 26x12 and 35x12 2. The 35X camera shall have image stabilization 3. High-speed pan/tilt shall include an auto-flip feature to ensure continuous control 4. Internal multi-protocol receiver/driver 5. Digital control with integrated CPU and SD RAM 6. The PTZ dome camera shall have Auto Iris (AI), Auto Focus (AF) and Backlight Compensation (BLC) 7. The PTZ dome camera shall have a non-volatile memory built into the cameras back-box, storing all configurable options for auto-download to a new camera 8. The PTZ dome camera shall be hardened for outdoor use 9. The temperature shall be regulated inside the housing with a built-in heater and fan 10. Sixty-four (64) programmable presets shall be available for Manchester Code input 4. Up to 128 programmable presets shall be available for RS-232, RS-422, or RS-485 input 5. The presets shall be programmable through keyboard, on-screen menu, or available graphical user interface (GUI) software 6. The PTZ dome camera presets shall feature editable titles 7. The PTZ dome camera s auto cruise feature shall enable the camera to repeatedly skip from one preset to another in a programmed order 8. The PTZ dome camera s auto scan feature shall enable a user to set an area for the camera to automatically pan through at a set speed 9.
