3 Introduction If you have recently purchased one of our products from the TIBO Smart Audio range, then we highly recommend that you download the free TIBO app to get the full experience from your product. The TIBO app is available to download on both ios and Android Smartphones and tablets. You can find the TIBO app by typing in TIBO into the search bar of the App Store and the Google Play Store. Alternatively you can scan the appropriate QR code below to download the TIBO app. Android ios

4 With the TIBO app you can: Browse and connect to over internet radio stations Select a sound source Manage Multi Mode groups Set up, modify, and play your pre-sets Check what song or other media is currently playing Adjust individual and multi-room volume settings Rename your speaker Adjust panning Add more speakers The Spotify software is subject to third party licenses found here: https//developer.spotify.com/esdk-third-partylicenses/

5 First time app setup 1. When you open the TIBO app for the first time, you will this screen. Click Wi-Fi Setup Wizard. 2. Ensure that the router you re connecting to is 2.4GHz Wi-Fi as TIBO Smart Audio products are not compatible with 5GHz Wi-Fi. Then press Next.

6 3. Find your router and type in your Wi-Fi password. Then press Next. 4. Locate the WPS button and press it once. Your Smart Audio product should say Searching for Wi-Fi connection. After you hear this, press Next. 5. Your product will respond with Waiting for Wi-Fi connection. Wait a few seconds and then when your product is connected, you will hear Wi-Fi connected. Then press Next.

7 6. The next screen allows you to name your product. Either choose from the list of pre-set names or select Custom and type in your own. Then press Finish. 7. Your product will name appear on the Device List page within the app. This page will appear each time open the app from now on. Note: You can add more TIBO Smart Audio products to the app by clicking on the cross icon in the top right corner of the Device List page.

8 Amazon Alexa setup Note: This section only applies if you have a TIBO Choros Tap/Talk or Kameleon Touch. Also make sure to download the Alexa app onto your ios or Android device and then login using your Amazon account details. 1. Once you have connected your TIBO product with ALexa to the Wi- Fi, the Alexa setup screens will automatically appear. Click on Sign in with Amazon even if you don t have an Amazon account.

9 2. Then enter your Amazon account details and login. Or create a new account with Amazon. 3. Alexa is now ready to use, press Next to return to your Device List. Simply tap the microphone icon on the top panel of your product or say Alexa to activate Alexa. You can also change settings such as location, measurement units and language within the Alexa app.

10 Navigating the TIBO app On the TIBO app there are 3 main pages as shown below: Screen A Screen B Screen C

11 When you first open the TIBO app you will see Screen C. The Device List page = Click the cross to add more TIBO Smart Audio products to the app. 2 = Refresh the Device List page. 3 = Product settings 4 = Choose between Left, Right or Stereo audio 5 = Click and drag to adjust the volume of your product.

12 You can also group products together on the Device List page, simply click and hold your finger on one of the products, then drag it on top of another product. Your product will respond by saying Group Mode when performed correctly. To ungroup products, simply click and hold your finger on the product you wish to ungroup, then drag away from the product it was group with. The product will respond by saying Solo Mode. Note: If you have a portable Smart Audio product, the battery percentage will appear next to the name of the product I your Device List.

13 Screen B is the Playback screen. Swipe right on Screen C or swipe left on Screen A to access the Playback screen as shown below = Add song or radio station to Favourites. 2 = Loop or Shuffle music. 3 = Play / Pause / Skip track 4 = Volume control 5 = Playlist menu

14 Screen A is the Main Menu. Swipe right once on Screen B or Swipe twice on Screen C to access the Main Menu. The Main Menu is where you select your audio source. Click My Music to browse the music on the phone/tablet you re using. Click TuneIn or iheartradio to browse internet radio stations. Click Spotify, Tidal, or Napster to browse online streaming services. Click Amazon Alexa to view your Alexa settings. (Only available if you have one of our products with Alexa built in. Add More Services option allows you to add or remove further options to the Main Menu. Below this you see will a Line in option. This is an input mode available on the product you re using. Other input modes appear here depending on the product you have. These include: Bluetooth, Optical and RCA. Select these options to change from Wi- Fi mode to the input mode selected.

15 Click the Settings option to view information about the TIBO app. Playing music via Spotify 1. Open Spotify and play some music in Spotify. 2. Click on Devices Available at the bottom of the screen on Spotify.

16 3. Find your product on the list and connect.

17 Storing Pre-sets Radio 1. On the Main Menu of the TIBO app (Screen A), click on TuneIn and search for the radio station that you d like to save as a pre-set. 2. Next to all the radio stations you will see a speaker icon on the right of the screen.

18 3. Click on the speaker icon to open the preset content. Then click on any of the presets to save a radio station as a pre-set. Your product will respond by saying pre-set saved. 4. Press the corresponding number button on your product to recall the pre-set. Storing Pre-sets Online Playlists You can also save your online playlists from services such as Spotify and Tidal as pre-sets. 1. Open your streaming service (E.g. Spotify/Tidal) and play some music from a playlist that you ve already created. 2. Make sure that the audio is being played through your TIBO product. Then go into the

19 TIBO app and go to Screen B. (Playback Screen) 3. Click on the Playlist Menu icon. 4. Click the speaker icon at the top right of the page to open the preset content and select one of the numbers to save your playlist as a pre-set.

20 Product settings If you click the settings icon on any of the products you have within your Device List, you can browse further options including: Rename speaker, Speaker info, Pre-set content, and Sleep timer. Clicking Speaker Info will allow you to view further information about the product s Wi-Fi settings, setup a password for the product and restore factory settings.

22 Additional Information 1. Software updates: Every so often you may have the opportunity to update the software. This is due to new functions and improved performance. A red update box will appear next to the settings icon on the TIBO app when there are updates available. 2. Factory reset: All of our Smart Audio products can be restored to factory settings. Simply click the settings icon of your product located on your Device List, then click Speaker Info and scroll to the bottom of the page to find the Factory Reset function. Alternatively, you can press and hold the WPS button on your product for the same result.
