1 Rani Durgavati Vishwavidyalaya Jabalpur (M.P.) (UICSA) Master of Computer Application (MCA) Practical List of MCA III SEM Session MCA Object Oriented Programming in C++ 1. WAP to generate Fibonacci series using static variables. 2. WAP to define as structure called student containing roll-number, an array of 5 theory marks and second array of 5 sessional marks. Pass this structure in a function which calculates and prints sum of theory and sessional marks. 3. WAP using structures to add two distances entered in feet and inches and store the result in third distance. Pass two distances as argument to function add-dist () and this should return the added distance. 4. WAP that creates a class student containing roll number, student name and his semester as private data of the class. Create two public functions get_data() and show() to store and show values of an object. Accept values of three object and display them in three line. 5. WAP that creates a class called time containing hours, minutes and seconds. Write functions to accept and display data in a proper format. Also write a function update() that updates the time entered by one second. 6. WAP to find the greatest of the three given numbers using class and constructor function. 7. WAP to create a class string and a function that accepts string type object and then returns it for printing. 8. WAP to create a base class which is inherited as public by a derived class. This derived class is further inherited as public by yet another derived class. Use constructor and destructor functions in each class to demonstrate the rule of derivation in hierarchical classes. 9. WAP which overloads > operator, so that the statement d 1 > d 2 can be used to give bigger of two objects belonging to this class. 10. WAP to demonstrate the syntax of operator overloading by implementing an overloaded + operator. 11. Write a program to add two distance object taken from keyboard. Use operator overloading. 12. WAP to calculate the compound interest using the inline function. If the principal amount, rate of interest and the number of years for period are given. 13. WAP to add two times (hrs., min. and secs.). Illustrate the use of function in this program.
2 14. Create two classes olddist and newdist. Access data values in these classes through a friend function, convert old distance into new distance and print sum of new distance. 15. WAP that declares a virtual function in the base class to test whether the input is divisible by 2. Redefine the function in the derived class so that it now tests the divisibility by WAP which generates the sum of following series using inline member functions: Sum = X + X 2 / 2! + X 4 / 4! + X 6 / 6! WAP using friend function to overload operator () with time class containing data hours, minutes and seconds. 18. Write a program to demonstrate the multilevel inheritance. 19. Write a program to demonstrate the multiple inheritance. 20. WAP using container class, use 3-base classes, the I-base class contains data members roll number, admission number, name. II-base class contains semester umber, III-base class contains mobile no., ID and derived class contains pocket money and balance. The member functions are used to get information on the derived class from the keyboard and display the contents of the -class objects on the screen. 1. WAP to calculate LCM & GCD of two positive integer. 2. WAP to print the prime factor of a positive integer. 3. WAP for reversing each word of a string. 4. WAP to delete all occurrences of an integer number from an array, shift all the non-deleted numbers to left and fill the unused space by 0 (zero). 5. WAP to search student and display his/her record using array of structures. 6. WAP for concatenation of string by overloading + operator. 7. WAP that creates a class called time containing hour, minute and second. Write a function to accept, update & display data in proper format (for creating digital clock). 8. WAP for function using reference variable as argument to swap the value of integers. 9. WAP that differentiate between call by value & call by reference. 10. WAP for overloading insertion & extraction operators. 11. WAP to implement inheritance using the public derivation. For accessing a base class member use scope resolution operator. 12. WAP for using friend function overload = = operator to compare two strings of class.
3 13. WAP to sort the weekdays using array of pointers. 14. WAP for creation of a file to store integers and display the contents. 15. WAP to read a text file and create another file. 16. WAP to merge contents of two files to third file. MCA-302 Relational Database Management System (SQL programming using Oracle) 1.
