2 EC-Council Admission Application for the Master of Security Science Degree Program Please complete the enclosed application for the Master of Security Science Degree program. Original copies are required in submitting your application. Please make copies for your files. Upon receipt of a complete application, it may take up to 4 weeks for the admission committee to review your application. If accepted, you will be contacted via . Please submit the following documentation for a complete Student Application: 1. Admission Application 2. Official Transcripts from the earned undergraduate degree*. The requirement of Official Transcripts can be fulfilled by one of the following: a. Academic transcripts issued by the institutions attended for all post-secondary programs of study and mailed directly to ECU; OR b. You may have photocopies of your original Academic transcripts attested by the appropriate school authority (e.g. Registrar). Please request for the attested transcripts to be placed in an official sealed envelope and have the envelope returned to you to forward directly to ECU. 3. Photocopies of any degrees earned, and any EC-Council Certifications earned (if applicable) 4. If the undergraduate degree was earned at an institution where English was not the primary language of instruction, provide proof of proficiency in English by satisfying one of the following requirements: Submit official TOEFL PBT (Test of English as a Foreign Language Paper Based Test) - minimum 530 or (IBT) Internet Based Test - minimum 71 or (IELTS) International English Language Test - minimum 6.5 Test ; Submit official transcripts stating the student s completion of six (6) semester hours (or equivalent) of college-level English (excluding English as a Second Language [ESL] courses) with a grade of C or higher; or Submit documentation that the student has taken courses conducted in the English language. 5. The application fee can be paid by a US Bank Draft, or with a credit card at the following payment link: * Any applicant with a degree from a non-us institution must have his or her academic credentials evaluated by a recognized member of the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services (NACES): ECU requires a Comprehensive Course-by-Course evaluation be completed by the credentialing service for each foreign institution the student has attended. Evaluations and transcripts received directly from the evaluation service will be accepted as official documents. Foreign postsecondary transcripts that have not been evaluated will not be accepted by the ECU Office of Admissions. All documents written and issued in a foreign language must have a certified English translation attached.
