Beginning October 1st. 2015, new drop-in fees will take effect for patrons who would like to use Campus El Segundo from 10am - 2pm Mondays-Fridays. Facility EL SEGUNDO Resident with Rec. ID Non Resident Campus Infant/Senior Youth/Adult El Segundo $5 $1 $2 A Rec. ID may only be obtained by those who are a direct resident of the City and can be purchased at a Recreation Park Facility. 2 Halloween Frolic- October 31 The El Segundo Recreation & Parks Department Monthly Newsletter - Morongo Casino and Cabazon Fun Trip coming soon Join us on Saturday 11/21 for our next Fun trip; a day of outlet shopping and entertainment at Morongo Casino! You ll get an early start on your Christmas shopping without the crowds by visiting the Cabazon and Desert Hills Outlets or you can try your luck at the fantastic Morongo Casino. With the free shuttle between each location, you can leave the driving to someone else! There will be drop-off and pick-up at both locations. Cost is $20 for residents and $35 for nonresidents, includes transportation. 4 Join TGA Sports Foundation s Community Wide Join us to get our youth moving, off the sideline and into the game! TGA is participating in Nickelodeon's 2015 Word Wide Day of Play initiative to get kids active. The Day of Play is a fun filled afternoon of golf and tennis activities/skill instruction, interactive STEM education center, arts and crafts station and community sponsor booths for local youth and families. October 24, pm- 2:30pm Recreation Park 401 Sheldon St. El Segundo, CA Cost: FREE! *First 50 participants to RSVP choose a free golf or tennis package at event* *Swing/stroke video and analysis for first 30 participants to RSVP* *Equipment Provided* *50/50 Raffle* *Special Contests /Games* RSVP with number in group to jamie@tgafoundation.org Local parents, kids, and community members join together to have a fun filled day of activities. A FREE event to get our kids moving that also provides an opportunity to raise funds and give back to the local community we love. All tax deductible donations benefit local youth in the El Segundo and Greater LA areas by providing scholarships for golf and tennis after school enrichment programs. TGA, an international company headquartered in El Segundo, has been running programs in the South Bay for 10 years and is excited to engage and give back to our local El Segundo community.
5 Archery at rec park Age: 8-13 years Cost: $35 for 6 weeks Express your inner Katniss, Hawkeye, or Legolas in our Archery class! The class will be led by our Recreation Staff and will cover the basics of archery while giving students the opportunity to practice under guided supervision. The instructors will go over key concepts, terms, and skills necessary for anyone who is just starting out or looking to improve their technique! Location: Stevenson Field Tu 10/6-11/10 5:00-5:45 pm This is not an ESUSD sponsored program Juniors (5-10 Years) Class #: Cost is $90 for 8-weeks Seniors (11-18 Years) Class #: Cost is $125 for 11-weeks Rehearsals: M, W, F - 3:30-5:30pm and Sat - 11am-1pm *Jr. Rehearsals Start: 11/9/15 *Sr. Rehearsals Start: 10/19/15 **Saturday rehearsals will be scheduled as needed.
