To upgrade to a production release of the software, you must first uninstall the pre-release version. Release date April 3, 2018 Release build McAfee Database Security Environment McAfee Database Security Standalone Purpose This update is cumulative and contains all fixes released previously in the The release is no longer available in the McAfee Product Downloads site and it is replaced with Hotfix2. This release resolves multiple issues found in the release. 1

2 Rating High Priority Mandatory Critical High Priority Recommended High priority for all environments. Failure to apply a High Priority update might result in potential business impact. Most patches and hotfixes are considered High Priority. For more information, see KB New features The current release includes these enhancements and changes in the release. Analytics module The Analytics module displays McAfee Database Security standalone server events and vulnerabilities assessment findings in an easy-to-use web console. This provides users with the ability to collect and analyze large amounts of data, as well as visualization capabilities and data-exploration interfaces. GDPR compliance wizard Compliance page now includes a custom General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) wizard, which has new Rule Objects and Rules specifically for GDPR assessment. XML API enhancements Support for viewing application mapping statistics and support for changing custom rules order. MSSQL IPM Optimizations of batch text sending and session termination for In-Process Monitoring (IPM). IPM is a Database Activity Monitoring (DAM) method used in Microsoft SQL Server memory activity in-process. End-user information reporting Improved reporting of end-user information about non-windows platforms. Management server infrastructure Server now uses JRE 1.8 and JCE 1.8. Sensor monitoring improvement Enhanced redo buffer monitoring technology of Oracle DBMSs. New database platforms MySQL GCP (Google Cloud Platform) Postgres AWS RDS (Amazon Web Services Relational Database Service) Percona MySQL and later on Linux 2
