JaeWeon Cho, Yeongmoon Son, Panyuh Joo Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. Problem Statements In 0.e/D,.. UCD channel encodings, Table 9 is titled UCD channel encodings. The original title for the table is UCD common channel encodings in IEEE Also, there is no PHY scope column in the original table 9 in IEEE Type, HO_ranging_start and Type, HO_ranging_end are common encodings for SCa, OFDM, and OFDMA. So, we may leave them with a note below the table SCa, OFDM, OFDMA (mobile only). However, Type 9, Initial ranging backoff start, Type, initial ranging backoff end, Type, Bandwidth request backoff start, Type, Bandwidth request backoff end, Type, Uplink burst profile for multiple FEC types, and Type, Normalized C/N override are all OFDMA specific channel encodings and hence they should be moved to table. 9 0Type, Normalized C/N override has conflicting has conflicting type number with Normalized C/N override. So, we need to change the type number from to. In 0.e/D,.. UCD channel encodings, Table a UCD PHY-specific channel encodings WirelessMAN-OFDMA, the editorial instruction on page, line 9 says, [Insert the following rows to Table :] when many of the TLV items in Table a already exist in Table in and/or Cor/D. This would, in effect, create duplicate lines in the Table. In the same Table, Start of ranging codes Group, Type in the Table was not changed to reflect changes to Section... in e/d and a description line added in Cor/D. 9 0In the same Table, Permutation base, Type, UL allocated subchannels bitmap, Type, Optional permutation UL Allocated subchannels bitmap, Type, and HARQ ACK delay for UL burst, Type are copied into e/d here with no change from 0.-00, and fail to reflect changes made in Cor/D. In the same Table, Band AMC Allocation Threshold, Type 9, Band AMC Release Threshold, Type 0, Band AMC Allocation Timer, Type, Band AMC Release Timer, Type, Band Status Reporting MAX Period, Type, and Band AMC Retry Timer, Type all are copied from 0.-00, no changes in Cor/D, changes in e/d but with no editorial markup indicating the changes. 9In the same Table, Initial ranging codes, Type 0, Periodic ranging codes, Type, Bandwidth request codes, Type, 0 Periodic ranging backoff start, Type, Periodic ranging backoff end, Type, Safety Channel Allocation Threshold, Type, Safety Channel Release Threshold, Type, Safety Channel Allocation Timer, Type, Safety Channel Release Timer, Type, Bin Status Reporting MAX Period, Type 9, Safety Channel Retry Timer, Type 0, and Band AMC Entry Average CINR, Type all are inappropriately copied into this Table either from or Cor/D (according to the Editorial instruction in e/d, to be inserted into Table again) in e/d without any change whatsoever. In 0.e/D,.. DCD, Table DCD channel encodings, Type 0 DL allocated subchannel bitmap for optional AMC permutation does not reflect changes from Cor (Type, DL AMC allocated physical bands bitmap is added in Cor for the same 9purpose and with clear text). We need to remove the TLV type 0 from the Table. 0 In the same Table, Type, MAC version is duplicate without any change from IEEE
