6 Data Storage Lots of technologies out there: Magnetic (hard drive, floppy disk) Optical (CD / DVD / Blu-Ray) Electronic (RAM, registers, ) Focus on electronic for now We ll see (and build) digital circuits soon Relatively easy to differentiate two states Voltage present Voltage absent
