1 I created these worksheets because I think it is useful to have regular practice of calculation methods away from the point of teaching. There are worksheets. Questions are aligned to the Year curriculum, with harder questions appearing towards the end. The answers are on the final page. Worksheets in which objective is covered Year National Curriculum Objective all all all all add and subtract whole numbers with more than digits, including using formal written methods (columnar addition and subtraction) count forwards or backwards in steps of powers of 0 for any given number up to,000,000 multiply and divide numbers mentally drawing upon known facts multiply numbers up to digits by a one-digit number using a formal written method Practice Sheet multiply numbers up to digits by a two-digit number using a formal written method, including long multiplication for two-digit numbers all divide numbers up to digits by a one-digit number using the formal written method of short division Practice Sheet multiply and divide whole numbers and those involving decimals by 0, 00 and 000 all round any number up to to the nearest 0, 00, 000, and Practice Sheet add and subtract fractions with the same denominator Practice Sheet Practice Sheet add and subtract fractions with the same denominator and multiples of the same number recognise mixed numbers and improper fractions and convert from one form to the other Practice Sheet practise adding and subtracting decimals, including a mix of whole numbers and decimals, decimals with different numbers of decimal places, and complements of (for example, ) Practice Sheet round decimals with two decimal places to the nearest whole number and to one decimal place Practice Sheet recognise mixed numbers and improper fractions and convert from one form to the other and write mathematical statements > as a mixed number (e.g. / / / / )
