1 A&E SPECIFICATIONS TeleEye MX Series Network Camera Model MX925-HD General Description The network camera ( camera ) described shall be a TeleEye MX925-HD or equivalent. It is designed for professional video surveillance and alarm monitoring applications including transmission of data via LAN, Internet and mobile networks. The camera shall employ a revolutionary multi-rate video compression algorithm called High Definition Multi-Rate Scalable Motion Adaptive Video Coder (HD SMAC-M) that generates independent multiple data streams for video recording and transmission on networks with different data throughputs. As comparing with H.264 technology, HD SMAC-M achieves approximate 50% smaller in recording size at the same picture resolution, quality and frame rate. The camera delivers truly no compromise on both efficient video transmission and excellent fidelity HD recording performance. The camera shall support surelink technology for Internet connection assigned with dynamic IP address, and shall be capable of firmware upgrades through network. 1. Standard Definition Integrated Network Camera 1.1 The camera shall employ multi-rate video compression algorithm called HD SMAC-M that generates independent data streams for video transmission via LAN, Internet and mobile networks 1.2 The image sensing device of the camera shall be a 1/2.8'', Sony CMOS sensor. 1.3 The camera shall support 4 simultaneous HD SMAC-M video streams at resolution 1920x1080, 1280x720, 960x540, 640x360, 480x270, 320x180 in progressive scan format. 1.4 The camera shall support day and night operations. The camera shall switch to night mode by turning on the IR LEDs at the ambient light level of 10 lux 1.5 The camera shall have 30 IR LEDs with an illumination range of 20m. 1.6 The camera shall have a mechanical switchable IR-cut filter. The IR-cut filter shall be automatically removed from the CMOS when the IR LEDs of the camera turn on. 1.7 The camera shall be compatible with TeleEye surerec recording server and TeleEye GX for continuous, scheduled and event-based recording. 1.8 The camera shall have a vari-focal f=4.2-10mm, auto iris IR lens 1.9 The camera shall support the adjustment of brightness, contrast, saturation, mirroring, exposure, white balance, flickerless control, iris control and sharpness, sens-up and varifocal control 1.10 The camera shall be capable of accepting a power source from 12V DC

2 1.11 The camera shall be able to control the data throughputs on LAN, broadband Internet and Mobile stream independently between the lowest 9.6kbps to the highest 100Mbps 1.12 The camera shall be capable of firmware upgrades through network. (via TeleEye Multi-site uploader when it is connecting to GX) 1.13 The camera shall support CAMLOCK technology. With CAMLOCK, the camera IP address shall be configured automatically by TeleEye GX recording server The camera shall support upnp for network configuration 1.15 The camera shall not use any standard coder, such as MPEG-4 or H.264, to avoid risk of video footage being tampered by any commercially available video editing tools 2. Remote Connectivity 2.1 The camera shall support surelink technology and DDNS for Internet connection assigned with dynamic IP address. 2.2 The camera shall support transmission up to 25fps for 1280x720 (720p), Up to 12 fps for 1920x1080 (1080p) 2.3 The camera shall support up to 6 concurrent network connections. 2.4 The camera shall support connection from a Windows-based viewing application running on a networked PC. The Windows-based viewing application shall support Connection to multiple cameras simultaneously and displaying up to 64 live videos from these cameras on one PC screen; TeleEye sitematrix that is able to display up to 400 cameras simultaneously; TeleEye surerec to record incoming video data from all the connected cameras; Displaying videos in full, 2x2, 3x3, 4x4, 5X5, 6X6,7X7 and 8x8 multiplexed screen modes; Stretching the displaying videos into full screen; Displaying of various events and activities logs in the camera; Standing by for connection initiated by a camera driven by an event, etc.; TeleEye sitemap Module that is able to display camera location on a geographical map Configuration of all the settings of camera Multiple language including English, Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese and other European languages. 2.5 The camera shall come with a built-in web server and Java applets for operation from a networked PC using any standard Internet browser. 3 shall support Displaying of up to 1 camera; Displaying of various events and activities logs in the camera Configure all the camera settings 2.6 The camera shall support live video streaming to mobile communication devices, including but not limited to iphone, ipad, Blackberry and Android phones. The camera shall support connection from application running on a mobile phone via GPRS, EDGE, UMTS and HSDPA data networks. The mobile phone viewing applications shall support Connection to the camera through IP, DDNS or surelink address; Displaying of live video from the camera; Displaying of various event status in the camera 2.7 The camera shall not use RTSP (Real Time Streaming Protocol) for video streaming on Internet to protect the footage from hacking. 2.8 Manufacturer shall supply software platform to manage the camera and/or hardware to record the camera. 3. Event and Security Management 3.1 The camera shall provide professional management of events including triggering of external alarm detector, video motion detection, video loss etc. The camera can be programmed to carry out pre-defined actions including connection back to a remote PC and etc. 3.2 The camera shall come with 1 alarm input for connection to an external alarm detector. 3.3 The camera shall provide 16x9 masking grid on the video for selection of area for video motion detection. Also the sensitivity level of the video motion detection shall be configurable by the user. 3.4 The camera shall store up to 4 IP addresses for an event dial-back operation. 3.5 The camera shall carry out an authentication process with the connecting PC in an event dial-back operation. 3.6 The camera shall generate a set of 3 alarm images in an alarm incident to show the situation at 3 seconds before, during and 3 seconds after the event. The alarm images shall be sent to a maximum of 4 targeted recipients by if the camera is connected to internet. 4. Miscellaneous 4.1 Authentication The camera shall support two login security modes.

4 4.1.2 If the camera is configured to work in Basic security mode, it shall have an administrator password and a general user password. Logging in as an administrator allows configuration of the camera. Logging in as a general user only allows conducting normal operations If the camera is configured to work in Advanced security mode, it shall support creating up to 16 login accounts with independent authorization settings. The authority settings shall include but not limited to system setting, event control, camera control, log view etc The camera shall come with a unique 10 alpha-numeric registration code. The camera only allows connection from a PC with prior registration of the camera The camera shall support 256-bit AES encryption The camera shall allow the setup of IP filtering. 4.2 Date Time Setting The camera shall come with a built-in real-time clock The date and time of the camera can be set up manually The camera shall support synchronization with a time server(ntp) on the Internet. 5.
