8 Micron S2/S2T Quality, Industrial Stereo Microscope With the Micron S2, you enter a new level of quality compared to other microscopes of a similar type. Our Krystal coatings on our lenses give our optics a new dimension in quality. With a wide 22mm field of view and large viewing area, all your samples can be seen easily and quickly. 18 Accessories Options for Greater Flexibility There is a range of accessories available for our stereo microscopes. We have auxiliary lenses, large heavy stands with boom arms and optical adaptors for digital cameras and DSLRs. Not all options are listed below, just a few to give you an idea of the flexibility of our products. Please contact us for all options available. Polarizing Set This set is available for the S3 and S4 models allowing the user to view samples which appear easier to view using polarizing light. The kit includes a polarizer and analyser. An example of its use would be when viewing crystals. Lens Each of our microscopes has a fixed zoom range, but this can be changed to suit your application by using a different or auxiliary objective. By using a 1x, 2x or 0.5x lens, you can vary the microscope to give you either more working distance or more magnification, depending on which is more important to you. Iris Diaphragm By adding an iris diaphragm to your microscope, you can add greater depth of focus to the samples you are viewing. This option is only available for the S3 and S4 models. 16 MICRON OPTICAL

19 Illumination We carry a range of additional light sources to suit your application. These include additional LED units with variable quadrant views and high-intensity illumination fibre optic light units. The fibre guides come in a ring option or double-arm type so you can adjust the light angle. Ergonomics All our microscopes have comfortable viewing angles on the eyepieces. For greater flexibility we have an option of an ergotilting head on the S3 and S4 model microscopes. This allows the user to vary the angle of inclination from 0-35 degrees. Camera Attachments If you need to take pictures, we can help. On models S2T, S3 and S4, you can add a camera to be able to take images from the microscopes. We have a range of brightfield and phase contrast lenses, various contrast methods and optical adaptors for digital cameras and DSLRs. Objectives We have a range of Plan and Plan Fluor objectives from 2x to 100x to suit your needs. Phase contrast objectives add a further dimension to allow you view non-stained samples. Phase Contrast Kit For viewing non-stained samples, a phase contrast kit is available in two types. The added contrast allows you to see your samples clearly. This can always be added at a later stage as your needs grow. Polarizing Set A polarizing set is available for viewing crystalline subjects.
