2 SUPERIOR PERFORMANCE SOLUTIONS DARKFIGHTER GIVES YOU ALL THE DETAILS EVEN IN THE DARK DARKFIGHTER ALL-AROUND APPLICATIONS Ultra Low Light Footages registered by conventional surveillance cameras in low-light conditions are often of little value due to the diminished quality, detail and colors of images. Darkfighter cameras are equipped with 1/2 CMOS progressive scan sensors enabling them to obtain high quality images with good color value in light levels as low as lux, which the human eye perceives as total darkness. Darkfighter cameras are ideal for inconspicuous night time surveillance, their high sensitivity makes additional light sources unnecessary. INDUSTRIAL Large areas of many industrial plants and facilities are only dimly illuminated at night. Their security requirements are particular high, however, since surveillance is frequently needed not only to protect goods, but also to prevent accidents and damage to facilities. 3 SMART FEATURES SMART FEATURES The Smart features improve the efficiency and reduces the reaction time per incident. Gives the user the opportunity to monitor, detect and filter events. RoI Codec SMART LINE CROSSING DETECTION The camera triggers an alarm as soon as one or more fixed lines are crossed in either direction, and local recording of events can be set off if desired. SMART AUDIO DETECTION This feature can filter out background noise and analyze ambient noise to detect the source of unusual sound surges and triggers an alarm if the noise level exceeds a predefined threshold. SMART RoI CODEC The Smart ROI (Region of Interest) codec enables the user to set defined areas within a scene (licence plates, faces) where image quality and attention to detail will be superior, optimizing and reducing the total video stream bandwidth. SMART AUTOFOCUS The Smart Autofocus function provides advanced automatic focusing, which does not require any adjustment during installation. The operator can change the lens angle without having to correct focus and the Self Lock option guarantees the highest level of protection against tampering. Low Bit Rate SMART FACE DETECTION Smart Face Detection can reliably distinguish human faces within the defined area of interest and set off an alarm if indicated. SMART INTRUSION DETECTION When intrusion of a defined area is detected, an alarm and optional on-site event recording are triggered. The incidence of false alarms is greatly reduced by filters calculating an intruder/intrusion-area ratio. SMART LOW BIT RATE Hikvision s new compression algorithm delivers a particularly efficient codec, reducing video stream bandwidth occupation to a minimum, and so considerably improving image quality. A very low occupation, 2Mbps in 720P resolution, for example, improves image quality by 30%. ROTATE MODE Vertical scenes such as hallways or corridors are not suited to a horizontal format. Rotate Mode allows the camera and its image to be rotated 90 for a vertical view, optimizing pixel use and the picture/definition ratio LPR - LICENSE PLATE RECOGNITION Thanks to an algorithm in the video camera itself, the ANPR function automatically reads the number plates of vehicles in a selected area. It recognizes the principal European licence plate formats and can classify them by nationality. 5 DARKFIGHTER Smart Defog OFF SMART DEFOG Smart Defog ON The Smart Defog function, thanks to a special image correction algorithm, improves image clarity and sharpness, even in heavy fog. SMART LOW BIT RATE 3 4 Smart Tracking is an innovative technology that increases video surveillance efficacy, especially in areas where the occasional presence of people or objects requires particular attention, such as bank vaults, corridors and transit areas, car parks and garages, and offices. The Smart Tracking function automatically follows a moving object (a person, vehicle, etc.) within a monitored area, and adjusts the camera angle accordingly. The target object can be changed during tracking by simply clicking on a new object. The key feature of the Smart Tracking function is its ability to discern the contours of objects and faces, which allows it to keep the moving object at the centre of the image. The Smart Tracking function is the epitome of unmanned video surveillance, allowing control over a broad area while never losing track of the most significant details. It greatly increases Security levels while using a drastically reduced number of cameras.
