2 The bucky DIAGNOST CS is an easyto-move ceiling suspension with a central control unit. Combined with the bucky DIAGNOSTVE/VT and the bucky DIAGNOSTTH it becomes the ideal system for all applications in conventional radiography. Bucky control grip The ergonomically-designed control grip on the exposure unit provides fast tableside operation. The optional version of the Bucky control grip also offers integrated generator functions including APR-Selection and auxiliary switchover. Sensing' 1 (optional) Automatic detection and convenient indication of source-image distance (SID) and cassette size/collimated size on the display of the Bucky control grip make it possible to work quickly and safely. Tracking 2 ' (optional) The X-ray tube automatically follows the vertical movements of the table top and thereby maintains a constant sourceimage distance (SID). 4 The bucky DIAGNOSTTH is a vertically adjustable patient table with a large range of movement for positioning and moving the patient through vertical and horizontal beams in all conventional radiographic applications. Its ergonomic design and easy handling make it possible to work quickly and conveniently. Infinite height adjustment The bucky DIAGNOST TH has no limitations on height adjustment. The vertical range of movement from 50 cm to 90 cm includes an adjustable 'preferred working' height with automatic movement stop. By lowering the table - down to 50 cm it is easy to transfer a patient in the recumbent or seated position. Comfortable table top The wide, floating table top of tough radio-transparent plastic offers the patient the greatest possible safety. 6 The new compact vertical Buck/ systems are versatile and can be used for X-ray exposures of lungs, skulls and the skeleton of standing or seated patients. The vertical bucky DIAGNOST VE (standard version) and bucky DIAGNOST VT (tilting Bucky unit) are both extremely easy to handle and have a wide range of applications. Ease-of-Use The user-oriented arrangement of all control grips makes genuine singlehanded operation possible, guaranteeing speedy and safe exposures. All movements are counterbalanced and therefore easy to perform. Due to the easy-to-read angle indicator, the tilting vertical unit of the bucky DIAGNOST VT may be comfortably positioned for all projections. Wide range of applications The large vertical field of movement of the Bucky units makes examinations possible from the head, to well below the knees - irrespective of the size of the patient. During exposures, the optional spacing device, between the column and the vertical Bucky unit, the bucky DIAGNOST VE, allows more leg-room, to seat patients in comfort. 8 The bucky DIAGNOST CE is an easyto-move ceiling suspension with a central control unit which combines the advantages of a conventional ceiling suspension with those of a floor column system. In conjunction with the bucky DIAGNOSTVE/VT and the bucky DIAGNOST TH, it becomes an economic system for all applications in conventional radiography. The excellent adjustment for room height, the extended vertical movement and the extra floor space available with the bucky DIAGNOST CE allow exposures of the lower extremities of standing patients, and examination of bedridden patients. All exposures on the Bucky table are made at the full sourceimage distance (SID) and at normal working height. 10 The bucky DIAGNOSTTC is a compact, cost-effective and universal Bucky system with integrated column, Bucky unit and central control unit for routine diagnostics.the bucky DIAGNOSTTC is available with the column positioned on either the left or right of the table so that the vertical Bucky can be located at the head or the foot of the table. Combined with the bucky DIAGNOST VE/VT it becomes the ideal system for all applications in conventional radiography. A room of normal height is adequate for this compact system, which occupies a minimal floor area and needs no fixation to either the wall or ceiling. Quick and easy installation underlines the costeffective benefits of the bucky DIAGNOST TC. Wide range of movements The wide range of movements of the floating table top, the Bucky tray and the column, allow X-ray exposures from head to foot without repositioning the patient. By swivelling the tube, it becomes possible to make lateral exposures.
